Lip Treatments -Josie Maran Cosmetics - Argan Lip Treatment

I loved this at first. I've never felt my lips so soft and silky before and I've tried a TON of lip products! It's smells lovely and even though it's not tinted it does seem to give my lips a cute pinkish look but that may be due to how well it moisturizes. After 15 minutes or so though, it fades pretty quickly and I have to keep reapplying. The packaging is cute but doesn't travel well. I leave it on my night night and it looks adorable up there, lol. But for the price I don't think I'd repurchase. So far my very favorite is the Fresh Sugar lip balm.
BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
Nikki08 5/15/2012 9:59:00 PM
Just fair warning, I've never tried another bb cream so I don't really have anything to compare it to. I like it though. I'm a big fan of tinted moisterizers so was pretty familiar to the sheer light coverage I'd get. Made my skin look , dewy and pretty. Does feel a little heavy/greasy when first applied but soaks in pretty well. It kind of has a strong perfume scent that I dont really like but does fade after awhile. As far as any lasting effects or benefits, I'm not really sure it does anything. Basically seems like nothing more than a tinted moisterizer. I might repurchase but am interested in trying other brands.
Great lip balm! Love it! It has wonderful pigment and goes on smoothly. The tint is perfect, not too bright and not too sheer. Moisturizes well, I'm a little spoiled from my Fresh lip treatment but for half the price this will be a balm I'll be able to easily repurchase.
Treatments (Eye) -Kiehls - Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

I wanted to love this product but just can't. Not that it's bad it just doesn't do much for me. I liked it at first but now it's just kind of a pain. It does moisturizer extremely well but it stays greasy on my lids for about 2 hours. I think if you're young and just starting to look for an eye treatment this would be a good beginners cream. It doesn't burn or cause any adverse reactions. I just don't like how thick and greasy feeling it leaves my eyes. Plus, I'm looking for an eye cream that does a little more for wrinkle prevention and soaks in more quickly. Overall not a bad cream just not good for me personally. I'll finish it but won't repurchase.
This stuff works. I've never tried any other sea salt spray so nothing to compare to but I love this product. I've tried on wet and dry hair, works both ways. It really does what it says and didn't make my hair crunchy, smells good too. Today I used on wet hair then used a diffuser to blow dry. It made waves and curls in my hair that I've never been able to achieve with a curling iron or rollers. I have long, straight, fine hair that usually falls flat. I'll definetly repurchase for just $5!
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15

I really like this stuff. I've wanted it forever and finally at my last Sephora expedition I sprang for it. When I opened it and saw the color I was concerned it was going to go on like lipstick but I was wrong. Applies sheer and silky. Not gooey, sticky, tacky or otherwise icky like others I've tried. Last 2-3 hours for me and gives my lips a really subtle tint. It is extremely expensive though. Overall I love it but it's one of those "splurges" that I can only afford occasionally.
Can't believe I'm just now reviewing this, thought I did a long time ago. I've been using for about a year now and let me say this...this is the absolute best thing I've ever done for my face. I'm a skin care junkie, love trying new things and hardly ever repurchase b/c there's just so many fun options out there but this little gem I've bought 3 times now. I use it after I wash my face and if I want particularly glowing skin use after exfoliating. Seems to work best at night, when I wake up in the morning my skin is super soft, pores shrunk, no blemishes...I could go on. Do your face a favor and try at least a sample. Price is kinda steep but for me totally worth it.
Hair -Unlisted Brand - Revlon Orofluido - Beauty Elixir

Wow! I love this stuff. I got a sample of this in my birchbox and really didn't think I'd like it. My hair is long and kind of on the fine side but has been getting frizzy lately (have no idea why). I have used biosilk before, that's the only product I've used that is comparable and that made my hair greasy and heavy. This did not! The smell...amazing and never weighed down my hair, tamed the frizz, cut blow dry time down, and straightened my hair out a bit. I use about a pea size and apply to damp hair beginning at ends and working up towards roots. The only draw back is that once I run out of my sample I'm not sure that I'd repurchase b/c the price seems kind of steep for a product that isn't an absolute must for me...but let's face it, I love it..I'll probably buy it anyway! ;)
I like it. Perfect color for my cheeks, I'm pretty fair and it just gives a natural looking flush. Lasts all day. Doesn't do much for my lips though. My lips are pretty pink so when I put it on you can't really tell I've done anything. I would probably repurchase but it is kind of expensive.
Treatments (Eye) -Garnier - Anti dark circle roller
Nikki08 5/15/2011 8:18:00 PM
I love this little thing! I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and I use it everyday. Here's the deal-I honestly am not overwhelmingly impressed with it's long lasting effects but I've never found an under eye concealer I love so much! It does seem to have helped a little with my dark circles but I use hylexin, too. So for $10 or so I'd definitely repurchase and I've given a couple away as gifts and everyone that's received them loved them! I keep mine in my purse and maybe I shouldn't but sometimes I use it on the go for little touch up jobs on any minor pimples I have.
Treatments (Eye) -Garnier - Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller
Nikki08 5/4/2011 5:54:00 PM
This stuff is weird. I'll be honest I wanted to love this b/c I thought the little roller thing was cute! But no, it does nothing for me except leave a TON of goo under my eyes. It doesn't have any irritating effects and is kinda soothing I guess but no thanks. I'll keep my Origins No Puffery for the mornings when my eyes are all puffy.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleansing Cloths
Nikki08 4/9/2011 8:52:00 PM
First let me say that I have used the Purity cleanser and I did like it. Not enough to switch my current cleanser for it but I digress! I just used one of these wipes tonight for the very first time and OH MY GOSH it burns! I had to run to the sink, get out my MK cleanser and wash my face off! It's been an hour since this and my face is still irritated and red! I do NOT have sensitive skin, it's always been very resilient. It can always tolerate how I experiment on it, lol. So bummed now...these must go back to the store and now I have to find a new wipe.
Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types
Nikki08 3/29/2011 2:08:00 PM
I love this stuff! Actually I have switched a lot of my skin care stuff for their products. I think I read somewhere in an ad that this was like a drink of water for your face, lol. But it's kinda true! Its a really light whipped kinda consistency and it soaks right in after putting it on. My skin feels SUPER soft and has a really pretty natural glow to it. I've been using this for about two weeks now and I haven't had any bad reactions to it. About the smell, I don't get why everyone is saying it stinks. Smells like lemongrass or something to me. I like it. It's not overpowering and fades in pretty quickly after it soaks in. Right now I have a generous sample of it but I'm sure I'll be buying after I run out!
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

Ok so first I have to say this is only day 2 of using this product so I will update in a couple weeks. But I just had to comment on it! I love it! It's gentle on my skin, doesn't burn or sting and effectively gets all the make up off my face. I just thought I loved my Mary Kay 3in1 face wash but oh I was wrong! This is the best! My face has never felt so velvety soft! Unless I wake up one morning to a breakout I would definitely repurchase! The price is a little high but Sephora has smaller size bottles for as little as $10. *edit* Meh. I'm going back to MK face wash. It wasn't horrible but I'm not impressed. And I started noticing that it took quite a bit to clean my face so I would go through it quickly. And I think it made me break out a little. Overall I LOVE all their stuff but this wasn't a winner for me. Maybe if I hadn't already found the 3in1 MK I'd use this.
Love it! It's kind of a nude pinkish shimmery color on my lips. Texture is smooth and not sticky. I won't declare that it last a real long time but a couple hours or so. My only catch is that it's expensive but if your in the mood to splurge on some lip gloss get this!
