Lipstick -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Stay in Place Lipstick

I am so impressed with Estee Lauder's Double Wear products! First the foundation made me scream: wooow! Now..the lipstick! =) I bought mine in Stay Magnolia which is a peachy-pink color. It's just perfect on my lips and it goes like a dream. The texture is very creamy and it lasts ages on your lips. I apply mine in the morning, before going to work, and 8hours later, it's still on [after eating, drinking, etc]. First I thought this is going to dry my lips a lot. This is what usually happens with long wearing products. But no, Double Wear lipstick is definitely an exception. It became my favorite lipstick, I find myself searching for it every day, and it doesn't matter where I'm going: I apply it and totally forget about it.
My HG used to be NARS Sheer Glow...until I've dicovered Double Wear! For some reasons, I was not able to buy NARS anymore, so I had to find a replacement for it. After reading some reviews here and on other websites, I said to myself: Ok, I have to try Estee Lauder's Double Wear. I was very skeptical about it because [like others said] it can have a lot of down sides. Fortunately, this didn't happen in my case. Why I love this gorgeous foundation, that became my HG: - it is really transfer-free and it stays on my face all day long - I am oily/very oily and I swear that this foundation absorbs everything that wants to come out of my face. I don't have to blot anymore [when I was using NARS SG, I had to blot like 3-4 times/day]; - it does not break me out, which is great, considering that 90% of the products I put on my face transform my skin into a nightmare; - the texture is lovely, I liek the thick formula it has; - the coverage is medium, but if you do insist on a mark/spot/zit, it covers it completely - the color match is perfect. I got matched on internet; first I consulted their "Foundation Match" section and then I spoke to an Estee Lauder representative. Based on the color I use in MAC [NC20/25], they've recommended me 2w1 Sand which is for light/medium skin with warm undertones. This suits my skin perfectly. It's like I'm having a second skin. - the price is very good, it's really much cheaper than other high end foundation; it's definitely much cheaper than my ex-beloved NARS So...what's not to love about it?! :=) Cons? Haven't found one, believe me! So, ladies, if you want to try something new , I highly recommend this perfect foundation. Yeah, I know, nothing's perfect! But - for me- this is the one!!!
Skincare - Face -Yon-Ka - Nutri Contour, Eye & Lip Cream

This is my absolutely "to die for" eye cream. I've finally found my HG! I use it on both eyes and lips and it makes my skin super soft. Actually, my skin has never looked better. If I would buy this again? Of course I would! Actually, it's the 3rd time I'm buying this. Huge love for this one!
This lipstick is to die for! I totally love it. I think it's the best pinky-coral shade that exists, really! I would buy it again million times. Great, great color that works perfectly with my super yellow skin!
I started being a lipstick fan months ago. I really love lipsticks and tried a lot of but never a matte one. I was very happy when NARS came with this new collection of lipsticks and decided to buy one. The lipstick has the classy package that NARS got us used to and it also has 0.07 oz - 2gr. The color I went for is Bangkok, which is a very soft rose that goes on the lips without being drying. Actually, it's pretty moisturizing because of the nutrient oils it has in it. I would describe the color as being a rose with a hint of plumy-brown in it, but this undertone is barely noticeable. The color is natural, I would say that it looks like MLBB. I would totally but this l/s again, it really worth the money and believe me or not: it looks spectacular on the lips. Huge love for this one. Thank you, Nars!
Loose Powders -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Loose Powder

This is definitely my HG powder, I love it so much! I've discovered it recently, while looking for something to set my makeup and control my super oily skin. I was initially using MAC's Blot Powder which did nothing for me in terms of blotting. The HD powder, however, it's goregous. Not only it really keeps my face matte all day long, but it also makes my skin flawless when applied over the HD foundation. Yes, it's true, it goes on translucent, without leaving any white cast on your face. A little goes a long way, so it worth every little penny. If you're oily -like me- and if you want a high quality powder that can make you look flawless, go buy it now!
I've bought two shades #10 and #37 (after viewing the swatch on Temptalia's website). Overall, I am very satisfied with this lipsticks. I've used to use MAC, but honestly, I think MUFE's are way better and totally worth the money. It is true, they don't smell or taste and the last a loooot on the lips, compared to MAC. #10 is a pearly pink shade with cool undertones. On my lips it is a medium pink with a hint of purple (gorgeous!). I also love the pearly finish, it gives my lips a very beautiful glow. #37 is from the satin (creme) family and it applies heavenly without drying my lips. It is described as being a pinky-coral shade. On my lips it is far from being like that. #37 is a combination of magenta and red. It is very bright and bold but I love it very much and I think it can be worn both night and day. I will definitely buy more shades because I've just felt in love with these awesone lipsticks from MUFE. They're gorgeous and so high quality. You can never go wrong with these. For refference: I have super warm skin with very deep yellow undertones, #120 in MUFE HD, 964 in Shu Uemura, MAC NC20/25 and my lips are pigmented.
Masks -Unlisted Brand - Alpha-H Purifying Clay Mask with Vitamin A

Hands down for the best purifying mask I have ever used in my whole life!!! It really makes a difference in the appeareance of your skin, especially if you're oily (like I am) and if you have troubles with the beakouts, redness and blemishes. It is quite expensive (almost £20 for 100ml) but I assure you: this worth every penny!
This gloss is blah. I've received it for free, after placing a huge order on BB's website. While I love the majority of BB's products, this crystal l/g is a crap IMO. First of all, this is very very sticky; secondly, I don't like the squeeze tube and finally it does not last at all on my lips. I wish I could comment on the price but I can't, since mine was a present. Anyway, looking on BB's website, I can say this is way too expensive for a l/g that is and feels just like a drugstore one. Sorry Bobbi.
I love this baby! I think it's a must for any girl's makeup bag. It gives maximum precision and you can use it everywhere, not only in the under-eye area, as m/u artists recommend. I also use it for smokey eyes looks and it's wonderful. Even though, I gave it just 4 lippies because its price is totally killing me. It cost me about 30 euros here, in Europe,. =(
Overall, I think this is a nice lipstick. IMO this color is the prettiest of all and it compliments my skin very nice (NC25/30 here). The formula is not drying at all but you really must have very hydrated lips before using this one. The glitter can crease in those areas with chapped skin and it will look hideous. Speaking about the glitter- this is obvious but not in that cheap way you would expect. It consists into tiny bits which reflect light and make you lips dazzle like crazy!
Gorgeous, gorgeous! It was my very first Star Powder from MUFE. They have such a huuuge selection and I was quite unsure what to choose. Finally, I've decided to start with a duochrome (because I looooove the way they look on my upper lid) so I bought #940. It looks completely white in the pan but it has fantastic orange reflexes. The powder feels smoother and silkier than MAC pigments, catches the light and gives the skin such a unique glow. You only need a small amount for a visibile and fabulous result, the star powders are very pigmented. As for the 940, the best part is that you can use it on face&lips too, due to its coloring. I use it for highlighting my upper lids, my cheekbones and for adding an extra shine on my lips. I highly recommend this one!
Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer
MyMajesty 8/6/2010 2:13:00 AM
Hands down for the best concealer ever! It literally covers every single blemish (big or small) that I have on my face or body. It was very expensive (£21 in the UK-almost as a foundation) and I was quite unsure whether I should buy it or not, but I'm glad I did because I totally love it. It does what it promises and now I can see why everybody loves it. I only use it on blemishes, never on my eye area. I am very afraid it might be too drying for this part of the face. I would rather buy the HD Invisible concealer for my dark circles. So...I love love love it and would buy it forever. Ref: I use the no. 6 Full Cover Concealer, and I am #120 in HD Foundation.
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
MyMajesty 8/3/2010 6:05:00 AM
I really love this gorgeous foundation! Bought it on a whim, thinking that I'll only use it for night time but, oh well, forget about it! I began to use it daily because of how nice it is. First of all, it gives my skin a flawless finish, just as it promises, which is also very natural. Its texture is super soft, so each time I apply it on face, I feel like I cover it with silk. I have very very oily skin which needs blotting like 5-6 times a day and I was quite surprised to see that this foundation actually doesn't make me shine like others I've tried (eg. Shu uemura, MAC, Bobbi Brown, etc). The coverage...uhm...I wouldn't say it's medium to full. On my face it is just light to medium. I think you can build, though, a full coverage if desired. But with only one pump (which is the amount of foundations artists recommend for covering the whole face) you get light/medium coverage IMO. I am acne prone and this did not break me out ...so far. I will update if someting wrong happens with my face. So...I love this foundation and I am sure it will become, very soon, a HG. I will buy it again, that's for sure and I am looking forward to trying other products from MUFE. For reference: I use the shade 120 which is suitable for light to medium skin with yellow undertones. My shade in other foundations is: MAC NC25/30, Bobbi Brown 2.5, Shu Uemura 964.
I really love this one. It is super shiny (not too glittery even though I've heard it's a little bit chunky and full of heavy glitter-nope, no way!) and it smells divine- vanilla! On my lips it has a lot of color payoff, it's quite bold actually, this is why I will not wear it on daytime. Overall, I would buy it again, too bad it's LE.
