Fragrances -Lancome - Tresor
rated 3 of 5

As a lover of old classic perfumes i purchased this one. I have had the Tresor in Love perfume - which i really like, but the staying-power isn't that good. So i bought this perfume because its stronger and hopefully last longer. This is a very sweet fragrance - peaches, apricots and vanilla? Its really nice. With the initial spray it will come across as too sweet, too much vanilla, and burn your nose. yes it is that strong - but the dry-down is really lovely! its very soft and romantic and intoxicating. I really like it. I will most probably only wear it on a cold day. The best part of this perfume is definitely the dry-down (about 1 - 2 hours later) so dont judge it based on the strong initial smell you get from it.

Fragrances -Chanel - No. 22

Ahh... the covetable Chanel no22 thats part of their Les Exclusifs range... I wanted this so badly and i spend a fortune purchasing this. Its twice as expensive as a chanel EDP fragrance out of their normal range.... yet this is a EDT. This is such a disappointment... not that it smells bad, it smells nice. However it smells exactly like Estee Lauder's White Linen. When it came to me, i realised why i liked this fragrance. Its really disappointing - because its so expensive. Its not Chanel's fault, this fragrance was released in 1922 and Estee Lauder must have most likely copied the fragrance. But if it smells so similar to something thats not even a 3rd of the price, why make it part of the "Les Exclusifs" range. I smell exactly the same as the next person wearing white linen... only difference is no22 is creamier... and a bit "softer". I will NOT repurchase this... i love the smell, i wore white linen in my teens, so when my nr 22 is finished, I will buy White linen and tell everyone im wearing no22... no-one will know the difference.

Fragrances -Cacharel - Anais Anais

I like flowery scents - and this definitely falls into the flowery category. Im also a lover of classic fragrances and this was one "classic" i just had to have... Ive smelled this many times before and hated it! (same with no5, for which i recently developed an obsession over ... ) I guess when you're young you do not appreciate the classics. Now i do.. WIth no 5 it has a strong aldehyde opening but once it settles it beautiful smelling, the opening is not bad at all. However with Anais Anais - i dont think its an aldehyde opening its something else, but its absolutely horrible, I hate it when I spray it on myself and it takes a while to go away, that cloying smell that has put me off this perfume for years. BUT... if you just suffer through it for ... uhm... 30min... you will be rewarded with a lovely soft burst of white flowers mixed with talcum powder (or atleast thats how it smells to me). Its very feminine and romantic. If you go on a date, spray this perfume about an hour before he comes pick you up :) Its a classic, its soft, flowery and pretty

Nice everyday fragrance, but I dont like it too much. Smells too synthetic and I dont like the fact that it doesn't have a cap. I prefer Tentation

I like this perfume - its an unexpected flowery blackberry perfume. I haven't smelled anything similar to this yet. Perfect for colder months - a powerful strong smelling perfume with a little fruitiness in it as oppose to all the orientals and florientals worn in winter months.

Fragrances -Givenchy - Eau de Moiselle

This fragrance is a nice smelling not overbearing fragrance you can wear casually or to the office. It is flowery and fresh, but nothing "unusual" or special about it, infact I think its smells like expensive shampoo. The ones they use in upmarket hair salons - it literally smells exactly like that. its not that I do not like the fragrance - i actually do hence I bought it. I just realised afterwards why it appealed to me - it smells like a trip to an expensive hairsalon. I wouldn't repurchase this - exactly for that reason. But its a very fresh flowery fragrance that always gets me compliments when I wear it - mostly from woman that wants to know what I am wearing.

Fragrances -Chanel - Allure for women
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 3:15:00 PM

Im a chanel perfume junkie, and this is my latest chanel fragrance purchase :) Ive read reviews on this and mostly it wasn't good.... So i was never interested in buying or trying this one. I have Chance, Coco, Coco Mademoiselle and the iconic Chanel no 5. Allure is a lovely fragrance - I like it alot. Im glad I went to test it a few times in store before I decided to buy it. After smelling it a few times on my skin I concluded not to listen what other say... Allure not being what they "expect" from Chanel. I love flowery fragrances and love how chanel's perfumes all have that "flower element" in it, hence I own alot of chanel perfumes. Chance is very fresh and young, CM very sexy and fruity/flowery. Coco is very floriental (for winter) and ofcourse the iconic no5 is that burst of flowers, the scent of a woman - powdery and flowery. Then comes Allure - combining the flowery with the watered down "orange burst" that is in coco mademoiselle. Its a more fresher powdery flower than the no5. its beautiful, soft and understated elegance. Its perfect for office wear - something thats not too overbearing, yet classy and feminine and soft. Very comforting in a subtle way. Will repurchase! :)

Fragrances -Issey Miyake - Florale
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 3:02:00 PM

Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey... the only female fragrance I would love to like, but unfortunately it smells awful it on, literally rots on my skin! Im always looking for a flanker that would give me my issey miyake fix - as i LOVE this on others but cannot wear it myself. Then came Reflections - finally one I can wear on my skin, but it was a limited edition :(. Then came along Florale - a new flanker and its NOT a limited edition... Yipee!! I love it.. and smells so good on me, and because i prefer flowery scents I am really happy about finally finding a Issey Miyake fragrance that smells good on me, still have a bit of that essence of the original L'Eau D'Issey... I am not sure what in the perfume doesn't go with my skin, im just glad they excluded it in this fragrance and that they made it permanent :) It smells lovely, fresh, full of happiness

Fragrances -Lancome - Tresor In Love
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 2:51:00 PM

I am not familiar with the original Tresor so I cannot compare the two but I like this fragrance alot. Its a beautiful interesting scent. I love the packaging too. I love flowery scents and this one is soft, flowery and powdery. Very feminine and romantic. Not suited for casual wear... the staying power isn't that great though.

Fragrances -Jean Paul Gaultier - Classique EDP
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 2:46:00 PM

I do not own this fragrance, but have the sample size of it. This is a lovely fragrance that is perfect for colder months. It has a subtle vanilla smell - sweet, not cloying and pretty. This is the signature scent of one of my special friends and everytime I smell this perfume it reminds me of her and it makes me smile - and it smells good too! Its alot like Armani Code, just a little bit more feminine and soft - where armani code is much more sexier. I love the bottle too! I might consider buying this...

Fragrances -Paco Rabanne - Ultraviolet
rated 3 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 2:41:00 PM

I have Paco Rabanne Ultravoilet but hardly ever use it. It is one of those fragrances that everyone recommeds. Its an interesting fragrance, very rare smell , i haven't yet smelled anything thats similar to this fragrance. Its sweet, flowery with voilet being the dominant flower. Its a pretty scent, I have the body lotion too. However the scent no longer appeals to me because my taste has grown.

Fragrances -Guerlain - Insolence Eau Glacee
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 5/18/2011 2:35:00 PM

Guerlain Insolence Icy is a fresher take on the original Insolence - perfect for summer/spring for those who wears Insolence as their signature scent. Its somehow "cooler" and more fruiter minus the powdery smell that is in Insolence. I like this fragrance and the only reason I said I wouldn't repurchase is because is a limited edition. The packaging is beautiful but a little impractical. This is the fragrance I wore to my 25th birthday party. It reminds me of my quarter century celebration ... good times with good friends :) Its a beautiful smell

Fragrances -Lancome - Poeme
rated 5 of 5
MissChanel24 4/4/2011 3:24:00 PM

This used to be my favorite perfume about 3-4 years ago. I just came across the empty bottle by accident and tried to spray it because i forgot what it smelled like. I knew it was nice, but wasn't sure... i managed to get a drop out of the empty bottle... and WOW... im in love! Now i remember why this was my absolute favorite and how i went through the bottle so quickly. The fragrance is just so lovely, feminine, classy, flowery and warm. its like nothing i've smelled before. I am using fragrances like chanel no5, coco mademoiselle, guerlain insolence, dior pure poison, etc etc... Hence i haven't repurchased this again ,but I think i should. How could i have lived without this for more than 2years?? The one good memory i have of this perfume is a compliment i received. I have lots of perfume and i have received alot of compliments like "you smell nice" or "you smell good", but when wearing Lancome Poemme a guy once told me "You smell beautiful". I was like "huh? you mean i smell nice?" and he said "No... you smell BEAUTIFUL". Im buying a full sized bottle this weekend!!!

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose
rated 4 of 5
MissChanel24 3/20/2011 7:12:00 PM

one of my favorite mascara's that i keep on repurchasing. I think the reason why this product doesn't get so many good reviews is because people have unrealistic expectations when thinking "Lancome" and the pictures in the ad-campaign and how celebrities rave about this mascara... they expect a miracle product. Be reasonable guys, if u have sparse lashes, it will look thicker and blacker cos its a volumising mascara. Dont expect yourself to look like you wearing a pair of false lashes... Good quality, good product. One of my two favorite mascaras (other one being Chanel imitable)
