Moisturizers -Bare Escentuals - Purely Nourishing Cream Dry Skin

Awesome moisturizer! I love how creamy this product is and how moisturizing it is for my skin. It makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, but my skin gets really dry in the winter months. I use this instead of the formula for the combination/oily skin during that time and it works great. usually I am running to wash my face when I get home because my face is so dry during the winter months. with this formula I no longer have to do that. I will continue to purchase.
Moisturizers -Bare Escentuals - Purely Nourishing Moisturizer - Combination skin

This is a nice, lightweight moisturizer for my combination skin during the warmer months. It makes my skin soft and smooth. It's not enough to keep my face moisturized during the cold months so I usually switch to the dry skin cream formula during the winter. overall a good product and I will continue to use.
I like this primer. It helps keep my skin moisturized all day long. My office enviornment is harsh, especially in the winter time. The air in the office is very dry, and I have been suffering from dry skin during thr winter months. Skin so dry that when I get home I immediately run to wash my face. Skin so dry that I have sprayed water to help keep moisturized throught the day. Skin so dry that my eyelashes felt like they were going to snap off. I tried using several moisturizers recommended by my dermatologist without any pleasing results. I have tried this primer along with the naturally luminous moisturizer for normal to dry skin and I have had no problems at all. I can go all day long, and even go home and walk the dog with my MU on. That being the case I think it's a winner. The price is cheaper than other brands and you only need to use one pump for your entire face. This one is a keeper!
This is a very difficult color to find. I knew it existed but could never find it except on the internet. Finally my local Ulta had this in stock and I purchased it. I like everything about the polish, including the color itself. It is a true navy blue and shatters very nicely. I think there is a learning process when it comes to using these shatter polishes. If it is applied thick it will not shatter as much. An even thin coat will provide a nice shatter. I had to redo my nails a couple of times to get the effect I wanted, but when I finally learned how to properly apply the polish for the effect I wanted they were good. I applied this over Avon's Lagoon nail polish and it looks very good. A little goes a long way with this polish, but if I ever ran out I would repurchase.
this is a nice candy pink shade and I purchased it because I was looking for a light pink color to wear on my toes. I do no like the consistency of the polish. Like others have mentioned....it streaks...horribly. I had to apply 4 coats of it and still didn't like it because after 4 coats of polish my nails looked clumpy. If Avon were to fix the consistency of it then I would not mind purchasing it again.
This is a nice cool toned pink color with silver shimmer. I like the consistency and also the application brush. The consistency is thick, but no too thick and sticky. The brush holds just the perfect amount to make the perfect pout. It also tingles like nobody's business. I have had tingle glosses before that only tingled for about 15 minutes...but this one just does not stop. Simply amazing. I got this in a box set at Sephora for $19, so I really didn't have a choice but to try it out. I do not like the taste of the lip gloss. A little flavor would be nice. but i would purchase again because it is the ultimate neutral to go with a dramatic eye. I like the color, shimmer, and tingly feeling.
Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lashliner Brush

This brush is an absolute must-have if you plan to use the lashliner. I love how this applies my lashliner flawlessly. I honestly don't think any other brush an apply the liner as well. I can control how thick or thin I want the product applied when using this brush. I highly recommend and would purchase again if I needed to. I usually put the plastic cap that came with it on it when not in use in order to prevent it from drying out.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Crackle Overcoat in Fractured Foil
Meaninc 6/20/2011 8:17:00 AM
This product is a no go for me. My nail tech had been using the crackle effect since last summer (even before OPI came out with it). The were using another brand that was unmarked (I guess so we could not go out and try to purchase it ourselves). It looked lovely and I got lots of compliments because it looked so different. I tried the OPI verison and it looks great. I decided to try the SH version because I saw it on the way out of Walgreens. I purchased the Fractured Foil and the white color. This has to be th emost difficult polish to work with. I tried using it over several polishes from OPI, China Glaze, and Avon...to no avail. It probably would work better with SH polishes, but I do not like SH polishes. It doesn't crackle nearly as much as the OPI or the brand my nail tech uses. I like the major shatter effect where this formulation only gives the appearance of huge blotches. You have to apply it lightly and only in one coat. If you swipe the same area twice it will not shatter. I wish I still had the reciept. Luckily I caught this on sale because $6.99 is too much to pay, especially when OPI's verison is only $3 more.
Treatments (Eye) -Philosophy - Eye Hope Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream
Meaninc 6/13/2011 7:20:00 AM
I purchased this because of all of the good reviews on the Philosophy website. Even the rep at Sephora raved about it. I could not even give this product a chance to prove itself because it irritated my eyes. Any eye product that stings my skin is not a good product for me.
Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Lashliner in Suede
Meaninc 6/13/2011 7:16:00 AM
One word, Perfection. That is what this liner is. I also purchased the brush and I am glad I did because the brush really helps to apply the product properly. I am able to achieve the fine line that I want with out having to constantly correct my line like I would do with a pencil. I love this color because it's not really a brown that I would expect. It's more of a brownish black and is less harsh than a jet black. I am not really a fan of jet black liners because I htink they look tooo harsh on me. Ok, let me get to the good stuff about this liner. It's non-irritating, good consistency (almost gel like in texture), and doesn't budge when set. It lasts all day long. The pot looks small, however a little goes a long way with this product, so I know it will last a while. I just make sure I close the product all the way so it will not dry out. I may even find a tiny ziplock bag to put it in for reassurance.
This is a nice lightweight mascara. I made the mistake of trying the Amplified Busom Lash first and boy was that a big mistake. I like this one better. I am always intimidated by black mascaras....I prefer either soft black or black-brown shades. This one looked intimidating, but when I applied it with the super feather weight brush I loved how I looked. I don't really know about the volumizing factor of this mascara, but I do think it defines lashes and makes my eyes stand out. The brush allos for perfect seperation of my lashes. I also like that it is lightweight and doesn't irritate my skin. My allergies change in the summertime and I find that I have allergic reactions to most eye makeup....except BE because they use natural ingredients. I love BE, especially the new Buxom line. I took off one lippie because it still cannot compare to my HG, Max Factor Lash Perfection since it doesn't add much volume to my lashes.
2 words....Hot Mess. that is the best way I can describe this mascara. I saw it on display and was mesmerized by the idea of an adjustable lash brush. The brush reminded me of my HG Max Factor lash Perfection brush, but without the Max Factor results. I kept going in between this amplified formula and the regular formula. I made the wrong decision. My lashes ended up looking clumpy had huge gaps because all of m lashes kept grouping together. I went to the BE site and even the model on the video had spikey looking eyelashes. I took this back to Sephora and got the regular buxom mascara instead.
Treatments (Eye) -Philosophy - Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Eye Cream

I got this as a sample at Sephora and then purchased another sample on eBay. It is an OK eye cream. It is really good at moisturizing and it did help to make a few small lines look better. My main problem is the price. $60? OMG! It does have a retinoid in it and I have noticed some gentle peeling nightly...but my eye area really does not have the results that I thought a $60 cream would have. I don't like the packaging because it is impossible to get the last drop out of the container due to the pump dispenser. For the price I want to get out every last drop. I have moved on to Eye Hope now, which is cheaper than this and reportedly (according to the Sephora Rep) works better.
I was on the fence with this product when I first purchased it because I was looking for something a little lighter and more gold tone. I have slowly fallen in love with this color and I wear it often. This is a shimmery grape color and I usually blend it with True Gold and Queen Tiffany with this color in the crease. It looks great on my dark brown eyes and I always get compliments on it. Another great BE product!
Love, Love, Love this eyeshadow! The best way I can describe the color is chocolate copper with a coppery shimmer. It is a perfect shade for blending other colors and it also looks good alone. good staying power (with my HG Urban Decay primer). I would purchase this again but I will probably never run out. A little goes a long way with this product.
