Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Fantasy Britney spears

I bought this because I needed a perfume (it was about time too, as I was 23) and I wanted a cheap one. I loooooove sweet scents, and I came upon this at walgreens at $20 for a 1.7 oz I believe. Everybody asked me "what are you wearing" and "it smells so good". A bunch of my friends asked to borrow a spritz. When my wallet got stolen in a foreign country, very randomly this girl sitting next to me on a bus asked me which perfume I was wearing, and promptly asked me if she could buy it off me. I was like YES i finally have some $$ in my pocket but NOOO I have to let go of my Fantasy. Well, when I got back to the States I immediately bought another bottle. If you like sweet scents, this one is for you. If you prefer a more mature, womanly, elegant one, then its not.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Moisture Sensitive Skin

***Note*** I bought the generic brand at Walmart for $4, the regular price is about $11. Really nice packaging, easy pump with a convenient plastic cap for travel. It is a white, creamy moisturizer that dissappears on the skin when you rub it in. I use acne cream with benzoyl peroxide, so I definitely need to moisturize. My skin feels soft after use and hydrated. Will buy again if the generic is still selling for that price.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Knowing

Okay..... I am going to be honest. This perfume smells like urine.... But that is only in my opinion and a few of my family and friends. I used to wear Britney Spears' Fantasy because I like sweet scents.... everywhere I went, in elevators, buses, people complimented me on my perfume. However, when in a different country I lost my wallet. Magically, a girl sitting next to me in a bus that day asked me if she could buy whatever perfume I was wearing right then and there...so I sold my Fantasy. I got Knowing as a gift. Since I like to always wear perfume, even if I am not a fan of the scent, I wore it regularly until I had the money to buy one I really liked. Tip: Don't spritz it on yourself like a body spray...its STRONG. My nose grew immune to it but my friends told me that once I left their car my scent was still flying around in the car...and not in a good way. This scent is not girlish or young.... in fact it smells kind of old-fashioned to me. If you want to really make a statement in a room, wear this stuff. It doesn't fade away like other perfumes do. But, my dad still told me it smelled like "urine".

Toners -Pro Activ - Revitalizing Toner

I used this as part of the 3-part trio. Well, my thoughts on it are, that to me it seemed like the "useless" one of the bunch. I remember when I first started using it ,it burned and felt like it was working well, especially on my acne prone areas. However, as time went by, it didnt seem like it did anything at all. But it did give a somewhat refreshing feeling.

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Morning Glow

Here;s my thoughts on it.... The main reason I picked this out among others is beacuse it was several dollars cheaper than just about everything else. Since I have oily, acne-prone skin, I'd rather spend more on stuff I actually need to fight the acne. What I like about it is that it has SPF 15, which is great as I live in FL and it is almost summer. It comes in a cute bottle with a convenient pump. It looks and kinda feels like a sunscreen, and goes on white, which some may not like. However, you rub it in, and after a few minutes the shine may mostly disappear. I didnt notice any "glitter", maybe it's just me? I dont have dry skin, but I felt my the area around my nose especially felt a little softer, and that is usually the area that gets dry for me.

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Deep Action Cream Cleanser

This was the first face wash I ever bought, back when I was 14-ish. Since then, I went on to fancier, more expensive ones. However, just now I ran out of skin stuff, and realized my family had at least 3 sample-size of these lying arond, the kind that sell really cheap around $0.50. So I used it, and it was pretty nice! Cleaned my face, gave it a refreshing, cool feeling, and afterwards felt smooth. It doesnt promise anything fancy-shmancy, but then again, what more could something you rinse out do? I like it!

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto

I bought this because the commercial promised long, pretty, spiky and glossy black lashes. Also, I liked the packaging and thought it was cute. Okay, here's my (personal) results: If I applied several layers, I *could* get *somewhat* of the promised results, like my lashes did look quite long if I stared up, if you know what I mean. They did look nice and black. However, it doesn't add any thickness, and has a medicinal kinda smell. I paid about $8.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Clean Make Up
Mashenka11 3/30/2010 11:22:00 PM
I bought this product two years ago, not because I like wearing foundation, but because I had no idea how to fix my excessive blemishes and redness. I just found the bottle and started using it, and it was amazing! It completely covered up all my redness, blotchiness, and blemishes, especially if I used a bit more than a thin layer where needed. It doesnt feel like I am wearing anything. The reason I gave it 4 stars, was becasue of the bottle packaging. It's really inconvenient, because it takes time to wait for the product to come out, and can be messy and wasteful. But all in all, I love it! By the way, this was the Oli Control version.
