I got a sample at Sephora in a drawstring bag. This one really surprised me because it doesn't smell like a perfume, really -- none of that spicy smell that perfumes usually have. BUT it smells great. The main note is the King Alphonso mango from India. It also has citrus and some coconut, but I can't usually smell the coconut. I wore it to work and kept smelling my wrists like other people have said. I asked my friends whether I smelled like a mango and they all said yes and they all liked it. One of my friends who never wears makeup or perfume put some on, too. The scent goes away so I have to keep applying it, and I am quickly using up the sample I got, which is a first for me. I am starting to get into some of the others in the bag, though.
I love this. I received this in a swap and immediately started using it every day so thank you to the person who sent me this. It is easy to put on -- I used my own skunk brush, swirl it around inside the box, and put it on. You can keep putting it on as much as you want as it is hard to overdo. I think it is very natural looking. I have this and Sugarbomb and I love them both, but Dandelion will definitely go with everything (for me, considering my coloring of course, which is pale and I'm more on the cool side of things.)
I am on the fence so far but I think I like it. The reason I wanted to write a review is just to comment.... I can't believe people think this is black or grey because to me it's obviously blue, albeit a dark blue-grey. All the people who said it's too thin and it takes a lot of coats are right, but now that I have it on I kind of like it. When I brought all my new colors home (mainly a lot of minis), this is the only color my five year old niece hated. I would say it's more of an adult color.
I am in the camp that thinks this feels great. It is, to me, not greasy. After it dries for a very short time, it feels like I have no sunscreen on and then I can go on and put makeup or anything else over it that I want. The best one I've found.
I have this in Sheer Red, Blossom, Retro Red and Ruby. They seem much nicer than their 99 cent price tag would suggest. They do NOT dry out my lips. Sheer Red is what Medieval should have been. Retro Red reminds me of my MAC Red. Blossom is nice and bright, but not overly bright to where it doesn't blend with my skin tone. Today I was complimented on this one by someone who doens't usually compliment them. The jury's still out on Ruby. I'd say run right out and buy Sheer Red and any other color that seems like it will suit you.
The color of this is beautiful. I bought it but I soon found out that it felt terrible on my lips. I wear lots of lipsticks too. I just hated the way it felt and put it up for swap. I have swapped it for Saint Rouge and the person I swapped with likes Medieval as do most people it seems so perhaps I am an outlier. I recommend trying it in the store and wearing it awhile before you buy it to see whether your lips hate it like mine did. The good thing about it for me is that when you put it up for swap you will have lots of offers.
I bought myself two packs of Essie minis for my birthday, the Resort and the Spring. Four months later I finally got around to putting this one on, because it looked so blah in the bottle and I thought who wants grey nails. BUT it looks great. It's actually grey/beige. A friend said it reminds him of working with cement. It's the colors of the walls in my bedroom. It is not at all flashy, yet slighly unusual. I have pale, cool toned skin, for the record.

I hate it. It smells terrible. I am going to try to return it to Wal-Mart. I'm surprised people are liking this but I guess if I didn't hate the smell and it was the color I thought it would be I would like it too. Except I didn't like the way it felt either. I just hate it.
This might be my favorite OPI (not that I have that many.) It looks like chocolate milk.
I just used it for the first time. It did not turn my face red or sting. I kept it on for the fifteen minutes recommended then washed it off. I think my skin is smoother on my face; it's definitely smoother on my chest. I started feeling a little dry because of the peel so I put extra moisturizer on. So far, so good.
I love this blush. It is so easy to use. I just put one swipe on each side and it looks good. I've never noticed it being frosty. It brightens my face up. I am a cool toned person and I get all excited when I am going to wear one of my few warm toned outfits because I know my makeup is going to look good. Wish I had cool toned one that worked this well.
I love Vapour!!! It's my favorite eye shadow (except for Painterly.) It's the only eye shadow I've ever hit pan on, and that's because I've been wearing it for the past 10 years when I wanted eye shadow. I'm a bit eye shadow shy, and this color brightened me up without being even remotely garish. I didn't notice the peach undertone or the violet shimmer that people are talking about, but I think that helps explain why it looks so good on me -- although in the past two weeks, as I have gotten into MAC eye shadows and bought others, I have noticed that there is a peach undertone to Vapour, as there is to most of the ones I like, only more prominent with the others. So I just went in there and looked at it, and it clearly has a peach undertone, with no brown, whereas it looks like Naked Lunch and Arena might have some brown, but Vapour has a clear (and much lighter) peach? I am NW20, blue eyes, dark brown hair, cool to neutral completed, with freckles and blue glasses, if you want some idea. I speculate that this is probably particularly good for someone cool to neutral with blue eyes and pale skin.
I love this. Looks very natural on me... I don't mean natural like I'm not wearing anything; I mean that it suits my coloring and looks like I am wearing something. Yesterday I put on Vegas Volt and it was TOO orange for the shirt I was wearing, so I wiped it off and tried Lychee Luxe over a Brick liner; it was perfect. Once I use it up, which I will, I'll buy it again.. it is a staple. I'd also say it's my favorite coral.
I think this is literally harmful, addictive and drying to lips. I'm addicted to lip balm anyway, but not like when I used this.
Got this at an extremely marked down price when Target was discontinuing it, and loved it. Now I use Matrix Biolage hydrotherapie, which I find to be similar.
