The best powder to set my undereye concealer! It's not as cakey as Laura Mercier brightening powder and is more brightening and more effective in setting than MUFE HD Powder. I've used all of these products for undereye and i like the Benefit one the best. It does brighten a bit but I still need to use a concealer under it to cover up my dark circles. It sets my concealer for all-day wear. I never need touch ups after I started using it. The only negative things I can say is (1) it costs $28 although it should last years; and (2) the packaging is not ideal for traveling because the holes in the sifter are too big.

Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

This feels amazing and soothing on my skin! I look forward to using this every evening. I use it on dry face to get my face makeup off, then i follow with a scrub or another cleanser. My face is so clear!! I do tend to use a lot of product with this cleanser. I use a bit more than a quarter size... so i run out of it pretty fast. Next time, I'll get a large bottle with pump. This does contain oil, maybe thats what helps remove the makeup. Love it! So gentle and doesn't dry out my skin.

Treatments -Peter Thomas Roth - AHA/BHA Acne Clearing Gel

I suffered from clogged pores and whiteheads for over a year and nothing worked. I used 10% AHA alone, Retin-A (still using this for anti-aging benefits), benzoyl peroxide, dermalogica scrub, chemical peels, pore extraction, nothing worked. My pores were still clogged. Then i found this product. AHA + BHA is a match made in HEAVEN. After 2 weeks, my whiteheads were GONE. I'm so happy and my skin is also very happy :) The gel is light-weight and because it contains alcohol, it HELPS your skin to absorb the treatment. If you're afraid of alcohol drying up your skin, just be sure to moisturize after. I use 2 pumps this in the morning under my moisturizer and sunscreen. I use Retin-A at night, but sometimes alternate with this treatment. LOVE THIS!!!! Thank you PTR. Please never stop making this.

My current FAVORITE foundation. I just threw away many foundation because i don't need them anymore! I was using NARS Sheer Glow before this and found that it turned cakey at the end of the day. No problem with this one! It looks satin-y and natural and stays that way all day. I can set with powder and still look natural. Love it!! I don't like that its not a pump bottle, and color selection is not as great as dept store brands.

Treatments -Beyond Belief - Vita C Antioxidant Serum

I was looking for a vitamin C serum and came across this because of its rave reviews. I really like how it feels on my skin and it smells citrisy. I used to use Skinceuticals AOX 15 serum (15% L-Ascorbic Acid) and it stung my face a lot. This serum (which contains Ascorbyl Palmitate as Vitamin C instead of L-Ascorbic) does not sting my skin. It also contains Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate) which is supposed to make this serum very good! It feels really nice on and is absorbed into skin very well. The bottle is plastic and the pump is not that nice (it shoots the product out) but one pump is enough for my entire face and neck. I can't say it works or not because this is a prevention product. It doesn't clog up my pores (i am very clog-prone) so I will continue using this.

Moisturizers -Juice Beauty - Oil-Free Moisturizer

Very good moisturizer. It gets absorbed into the skin really well and makes the skin feel supple and moisturized. The only downsize to this product are (1) it does not feel soothing on, in fact, it stings a bit due to the fruit juice and extracts in it, and (2) it feels a bit sticky, which i don't mind. Beside these things, I LOVE this moiturizer because it's matte and does not clog up my clog-prone skin. And it contains so many good natural ingredients! Love it! I use it in the morning under my sunscreen.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Porridge Soap

It's such a mess to use in the shower and it does nothing to moisturize OR exfoliate. And soap doesn't lather. I only ended up with little dark grains all over my shower room.

This spot treatment didn't work for me. The bump was still the same size after about 2-3 nights of using this. It only made it turn pinker than usual. And it smells SOOO strong like a medicine. After i dot it on, my whole bathroom smells medicine-y. Not recommended.

Cleansers -Neutrogena - Nourishing Cream / Night Calming

Use this on your DRY face to remove makeup, and it'll get everything off. However, i give this a low rating because it feels uncomfortably COLD on the skin. It's definitely not a feel-good cleanser because i hate putting cold stuff on my face, especially before a warm shower. It smells really good, it's a floral lavender type of scent.

Scrubs -Dermalogica - Daily Microfoliant

This is a very effective exfoliant. It's a hassle to use because it's powder and I sometimes pour too much out. But it's so gentle and get rid of my flakies VERY effectively. I use this in the morning and it makes my skin flake-free in under a minute. Sometimes, i just wet my face and rub the powder onto my wet face. No need to make a paste first. If you have dry skin, this may strip off your natural oil too much. I have the bottle for 2 months now and it looks like i barely used it although i use it at least 3-4 times per week.

This lipbalm is so smooth and moisturizing! I had a hard time finding a good lipbalm with high SPF. All the ones i've tried with high SPF are too stiff, leaves a white cast, and not moisturizing. This one is very moisturizing and does not leave my lips looking white or gray. Plus it goes on smooth like a regular chapstick if not smoother. I bought mine from soap.com. I haven't seen it at drugstores. The only bad thing about this lipbalm is that the product sort of balls up on the lips. It makes my lips look a bit flakey although it's not dead-skin flakey. It's just the product pilling up.

Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Innocent

Love this gloss! It does look very similar to the famous Nars Turkish Delight. It's very pigmented for a gloss and lightens my naturally red lips! Looks great with smokey eyes. It's quite long lasting on the lips without being sticky or thick.

Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo

I have this in "Original" scent. It works great to soak up the oil in my hair. My hair is naturally black and it does show white residue, but when I run it in very well, the residue disappears.... at least i think so. I can faintly see the gray cast in my hair though, but i don't mind because it's very minor. For the price, this is great. The spray doesn't get clogged up like Ojon dry shampoo I once bought. One can of this lasts me 4 months, I use it every other day.

Palettes -Too Faced - Galmour To Go Catwalk Collection

I got this as a 500-point perk at sephora as the rest of the reviewers. I think this palette is made just for sephora beauty insiders, but i could be wrong. I have to say, my initial review would've been a 3 stars because most of the shadows are extremely frosted and don't show the true color. Then i found that the black shadow is very pigmented, much better than MAC carbon to draw an eyeliner. And the brown eyeshadow is highly pigmented and goes on very smooth. Love these two shadows! And the blush looks shimmery in the pan and looks very GLOWY on my cheeks, not glittery at all. I love to bring this to travel... and i don't need to bring any other e/s, eyeliner, or blush! And the lipglosses are nice enough to get the job done... they're not pigmented like lipsticks but they do show some colors. I highly recommend this palette if you can still get your hands on them!!
