Lotions/ Creams -Burt's Bees - Coconut Foot Creme
MARY48 3/5/2005 3:12:00 PM
Great product, good clean scent. I'm on my 3rd tube and will keep buying it. It takes care of the dryness and keeps the cuticules soft between pedicures. I think Burt's Bees has a winner here.

Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials
MARY48 3/5/2005 3:09:00 PM
I've been a loyal user now since they were introduced. I use the normal/dry formula. I like the clean feeling I get when I use them, and I don't feel like my face has been stripped of every last bit of moisture. I have tried other cleansing cloths and pads, and always return to these. They remove makeup pretty well, not so good on eye makeup though. I use a separte remover for that.

Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve
MARY48 3/5/2005 3:04:00 PM
I love the scent and the texture of this. The packaging, well try and get it open! It's a real pain so I put some in a cute little vanity pot that I got from Avon awhile back. It moisterizes and makes your lips feel soft without being took slick or greasy.

Mascara -Revlon - Colorstay lash tint [DISCONTINUED]
MARY48 3/4/2005 10:16:00 PM
Oh brother, what the heck was Revlon thinking when they came up with this little piece of misery! This THE WORST crap I have ever tried. It's horrible to put on, like another reviewer said, will clump all your lashes together. And a nightmare to take off. Run, don't walk, by the display where this is!! This is the 1st time I was disappointed with a Revlon product, the Age Defying liquid makeup was the 2nd. But they're a good company to deal with when you have a problem, very customer friendly and accomodating.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser
MARY48 3/4/2005 10:08:00 PM
I use this cleanser after a micro dermabrasion. It's very gentle, and helps my skin "settle down". As for a makeup remover, forget it. You need get the makeup off first. Being that my skin is dry and maturing, I need a cleanser that is gentle but doesn't make my skin feel like I haven't cleaned it. If your skin is sensitive, this is the one to get. If it's oily, pass it by. I don't care for the container too much so I put it in a pretty vanity pump bottle.

Liquid -Revlon - Age Defying Light Makeup with Botafirm SPF30 [DISCONTINUED]
MARY48 3/4/2005 10:02:00 PM
Nothing like I expected! This was a glorified tinted moisterizer. I picked an ivory shade and it was ok, because it was so watery. I emailed Revlon and told them I was very disappointed. Got my refund check today. This is only the 2nd time I've been disappointed with a Revlon product. But they are a nice company to deal with if you have a problem of any kind.

Eyeliner -Sally Hansen - Professional Kohl Liner
MARY48 3/4/2005 9:45:00 PM
Total waste of time and my money. What a piece of garbage. I cannot get it on my lid, the applicator is stupid. I wouldn't put this even in a swap for an "extra" I'd be embarrassed! Don't waste your money ladies!

Lipstick -Rimmel - Volume Boost Lipstick
MARY48 3/3/2005 4:48:00 PM
I bought this one in Flaunt. It's a pretty red, not too blue and not orange either. The texture is great, the tube is a pretty red, looks nice when you're pulling it out of your bag. I think it may have "volumized" my lips ever so slightly. Hard to tell when they're already full. But the shine and color lasted and felt comfortable. Go Rimmel!

Lipstick -Rimmel - Rich Moisture - Mulberry Silk
MARY48 3/3/2005 4:43:00 PM
Rimmel is a good line for the price. From what I hear from my friends in the UK, it's more expensive there, in line with Clinque. Like the other reviewer said, it is a pretty and feminine color. The feel is creamy and not drying, the color isn't heavy looking on the lips either. I reach for this one quite abit.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Vinyl Lip - Snog
MARY48 3/3/2005 1:38:00 PM
I keep this one in my handbag for touchups. It's the color that hooked me, it's a light feel on my lips and enough gloss to look shiny but not overdone. The packaging is nothing speical, the smell is fine, not obnoxious. It's a good lipgloss for the price.

Lip Liners -Rimmel - 1000 kisses stay on lip liner in Tiramisu
MARY48 3/3/2005 1:33:00 PM
Of all my lipliners, this is the one I keep reaching for. It's a nice color, doesn't clash with the lipstick I choose and the texture is smooth. It doesn't drag like some of the pencils I have. The price is a deal maker for me. I love the Rimmel line anyway, they just keep getting better.

Blush -Milani - Smooth Finish Blush - Luminous
MARY48 3/2/2005 3:54:00 PM
After reading all the reviews, I was very anxious to try this. Milani has been making such an impression on me, I am so pleased with what I have tried so far. This blush is great. Love the color, I never thought a peachy/pink would look good on me, yet when I tried it on, WOW! It's sheer, but not too matt, the container is nice, you can swipe it with a nice fluffy brush and off you go. I think this is turning into a love affair with the Milani line. Plus the prices are really great, I can go crazy and still only spend afew bucks!

Treatments -Pantene - Overnight Repair Intensive Treatment Packets
MARY48 3/1/2005 8:14:00 PM
I finally got to try this for the 1st time. It was quite a hunt to find it in my area, but I used it for the 1st time last night and after my shampoo, I was really pleased with the texture of my hair and how soft and shiny it was. I have been a big fan of Pantene products for a while now and so far, have not been disappointed. I would purchase this again, if there was a different package to offer. I don't like buying it in indivual packets, costs more that way. It should come in some container that has a measuring cap for treatments.

Concealers -Sonia Kashuk - Hidden Agenda Concealer Kit
MARY48 2/28/2005 3:09:00 AM
This sleek little compact has the best concealer that I've used in a long, long time. Having a makeup bag full of concealers, everything from Dermablend to Chanel, I found this creamy blend to work better than the lot I have. I wondered if I could use all the colors, then, duh, realized I could blend them to make them work on whatever flaw I was trying to hide. I have dark cirlces that are hard to hide.It sure doesn't help that my skin is so light, makes it worst looking. Has to do with my night owl habit and the fact that as you age your skin does thin under your eyes making circles appear. This is creamy so you're not pulling on the delicate eye area and it doesn't seem to "fight" with the eye cream which has been a royal pain for me. This is the 2nd product I've purchased in the Sonia Kashuk line and won't be the last to be sure.

Pressed Powders -Milani - Pressed Powder
MARY48 2/28/2005 1:02:00 AM
I just bought this compact in NUDE yesterday. I must say that the compact is nice enough to pull out of your purse, yet if I lost it I wouldn't be gnashing my teeth like if I lost an expensive collectible compact, which I own a few. The color is nice, texture is great. The price of course, that's the deal maker. And over all I am impressed with this line. I am anxious to try more from it.
