Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Laid Back

Love, love, LOVE this blush! This is my first Blushcreme from MAC (I'm usually a fan of their Sheertone blushes) and it is the best cream blush I have tried so far (including Stila). I agree with the other reviewers that it looks very dark in the pan, but on it gives my very pale skin that perfect rosy glow that you get when you've just come in from the cold (without the red nose..heehee). Besides the perfect color-match, what surprised me most about this blush is its lasting-power - it has such a pleasant creamy texture with a slightly dewey finish, but it lasts all day. In fact, it outlasts my Sheertone blushes - I'm amazed! Definitely a keeper!

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre in High Tea

I have been on a quest for the perfect nude lipstick for what seems like forever now. I have fairly pigmented lips, so most nude colors either seem chalky or too brown on me. The SA at the MAC counter suggested I try High Tea with Oak pencil and C-Thru lipglass for the perfect nude look - pretty, but too much work for me, but in a moment of weakness I got High Tea anyway. And I am so glad that I did!! I 'rediscovered' High Tea in my make-up case recently and put it on with out the liner or gloss and it was perfect!! For me the trick is definitly to use it alone, and then it's my definitly My-Lips-But-Much-MUCH-Better!! This one's a winner!

Shampoo -Alba Botanica - Honeydew Nourishing Hair Wash

Great shampoo: smells divine, lathers nicely, rinses clean and leaves my straight, sometimes limp, hair soft, shiny and bouncy. Can't really ask for much more than that! Love it!

OhmyGod....love, love, LOVE this stuff! It smells like summertime in southern France, or Italy or anywhere where the days are long and beautiful and there is lots of great fresh food and wine ;-) IMO this cream makes me smell warm and sensual, but clean and fresh too. In a word: perfect!

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Escape For Women

Ok, so I have a REALLY hard time finding fragrances: most everything I try either ends up smelling like nasty bug spray, or it gets that strong powdery-soapy smell - UGH! I first got a tester of this when I was 15 (9 years ago), and I fell in love! I have been wearing it ever since! On me Escape (EDP, always), strikes just the right balance between fresh and sexy/sophisticated. I'm always trying out new fragrances, and I do find some nice ones from time to time, but I always come back to my Escape - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Don't know what I'd do if they discontinued it...have an identity-crisis probably!

Conditioner -Aussie - Moist Conditioner

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this conditioner!! It has made my recently quite fuzzy, straight, limp hair shiny, soft, bouncy and beautiful again! Nuf said! For the price (like 3 US dollars, wooo..) so worth a try: it REALLY works! I especially like it with the Dove moistuirsing shampoo: excellent results! Yay!

My skin has NEVER looked better! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product! My pores look smaller, my skin feels smoother, and the tone is so even that I have almost entirely given up wearing foundation, as I just don't need it anymore!!! Yay! I was also sceptical that this would make my skin dry or irritated, but not at all: my skin seems to actually absorb my moisturizers better now. It's a little expensive, and totally annoying that you can't by the scrub and lotion seperately (3.4 oz of scrub and only 1 oz of lotion? Why?), but the effects are so worth it that I will just keep on buying regardless!

UGH! the texture of this stuff is awful! So thick and goopy, and really hard to spread over the skin - it's supposed to HELP against wrinkles, but I'd think it would GIVE you wrinkles with the amount of work it takes to spread it over the skin!! Also I felt it made my skin dryer, NOT more moisturized. And when I put it on whatever moisturiser I put on over it would just sit on top and not absorb at all - awful! NO, NO, NO!!!

I'm kinda in the middle on this product: on the one hand it does make my hair nice and shiny, and you can kinda see the color when the light hits it, and I quite like the smell, but on the other hand I do find that it has made my hair more greasy than usual, which is a big no-no in my book, and do I really want to add ANOTHER step to my showering routine in the morning? So, will I be repurchasing? Probably not.

No more post-shower moisturizing: Yay!! Since I started using this stuff (+5 months) I haven't been able to go without it! Start panicking if i'm running low... Really delivers in my opinion. Don't find it greasy/oily at all, for me it just sinks in nicely leaving my skin soft and supple, when I used to be super-dry. In the winter months I've been a little drier, but that's normal (solved that problem by swapping usual cleanser for the Olay body butter ribbons). But really can't beat this product for ease of use and effectiveness; thank you Olay!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stuff! The texture takes some getting used to initially but is totally worth the results: soft, soft, soft skin! I hate having to spend forever moisturizing after each shower, but if I don't I dry out completely. I had been using Olay Moisturinse for a couple of months, and already really loved that product. But I still felt like I wasn't getting quite as moisturized as I would be if I used a body lotion. So when I added this body butter stuff to my routine I was totally delighted: Perfection! The wash is lovely and moisturising by itself, and I think in the summer it would be enough on its own. But for my drier winter skin it works wonders when used with the moisturise stuff: no more lotioning and waiting till you can get dressed - now I just shower, dry, and go! SOOO happy! Plus it has a wonderful scent! Could you ask for more?

I too got the starter kit about 4 months ago and have been as happy as a clam since! I'm not sure this is my HG foundation yet, but it sure comes close! I love the ease of being able to just sweep the brush over my face, and voila! foundation! Beats the hell out of all the blending and general ickiness involved with applying liquid foundation properly - with this you just have one step and you're done! No blending necessary (as long as you have the right color, that is) and it makes my skin look beautifully even! Not dry, not blotchy, no visibly filled in pores -just beautiful and even, as if my skin itself were just that great (so much so that I get compliments on my 'beautiful skin' all the time, HA!)! can't ask for more in a foundation, right?

Makeup Brushes -Bare Escentuals - Kabuki Brush

I have to concur with the other reviewers here: this brush sheds like crazy!! I too got the BE starter kit, and both the kabuki and blush brush shed. I wondered initially if it was just because it was new and there were some loose hairs - but I have had the brushes for over 3 months now and they STILL shed! VERY annoying! It's a shame because they are otherwise nice brushes: nice handles, nice size and fullness, and (if kept clean properly) nice and soft, but I have had some near-misses with hairs going in my eyes, so not only is the shedding annoying, but it is also potentially harmful! Would not repurchase!

Moisturizers -L'Occitane - 24 Hours Ultra Rich Face Cream

Reading the other reviews for this product, it seems that it really differs from person to person, whether you love or hate this cream, but for me I am definitely in the LOVE category. I have to note that I no longer use this cream as it is actually too hydrating for my usually combination skin, however in the past this cream has been my saviour! When I was going through an extremely stressfull time just before my wedding my skin started to go nuts - I was still breaking out but now my skin was SUPER dry. I was doing everything I could and nothing helped; my skin just wanted to be dry and itchy and flaky, with huge scaly dry patches all over my face. I tried every calming hydrating cream on the market and nothing worked at all. Then I got a sample of this stuff: it was perfect!! I calmed and hydrated my skin perfectly! I used it 24/7 and I credit this cream with saving my skin in time for it to be radiant again for my wedding day!! I cannot praise it enough for that! So, maybe it's not for everyone, but if you have dry, sensitive, or irritated skin then this is absolutely worth the try - it might just save your face!
