Unfortunately this is breaking me out. It has isopropyl palmitate which is a highly comedogenic ingredient. It was really starting to even out my skin tone, so it's too bad since I have problems with harsher stuff like retin and hydroxy acids.

I'm undecided about this one...sometimes it seems to calm my skin down (b/c of the green tea?) but then other times it irritates me. I have mild rosacea so maybe it's when my skin is acting up. This has octyl methocynnamate as one of the spf ingredients and I read somewhere that people with rosacea should avoid that. This is moisturizing but not too greasy. It's probably not matte enough for oily skins though. So if your skin isn't too sensitive or on the oily side, I think this would be great. UPDATE: I'm definitely allergic to octyl methoxycinnamate so I'm pretty sure that's why this irritates me sometimes.

Moisturizers -Dream Products - Face Dream AHA lotion for sensitive skin
LuxeD 4/1/2003 8:49:00 PM
I had this made in the light consistency, unscented, extra vitamin C, spf 25 (zinc), 8% aha. It's very light and sinks right in. My skin is: oily t-zone, dry cheeks, acne-prone and very sensitive. I have mild rosacea so I can't use this every day (b/c of the aha) or when I have flare-ups. (You can also have it formulated w/o the aha) I've been using it a couple times a week and it makes my skin look great. The extra vitamin C helps to brighten and even out my skin, and the aha makes my pores look smaller. Note: the first time I tried this product it was clogging my pores but I believe it was the jojoba oil. Now I have grapeseed oil substituted for the jojoba and no clogged pores.

Weird how so many people have had problems with this. I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily and this didn't bother me at all (I used the fragrance free one). I only gave it 3 lipsticks though because it's too greasy for day use on my combo skin. However, I've been liking it as a night treatment because in the am my skin has a nice glow. But it has spf so I guess it's kind of a waste. UPDATE: since I've developed rosacea my skin can't handle much, especially the sunscreen octyl methoxycinnamate which this contains.

Pressed Powders -Prescriptives - Adjustable Coverage Pressed Powder
LuxeD 2/11/2003 3:28:00 PM
My sensitive skin breaks out easily and also gets oily throughout the day, but most oil-free powders look chalky and dry on my skin in the winter. This one mattifies and evens out my skin without chalkiness and is virtually undetectable. It's oil-free and I believe fragrance-free. There are also two sides to the sponge, one side creates sheer coverage and the other side gives a little more coverage. Both are sheer.

If I use this on my whole face it makes my combo skin break out, but I noticed that it was really helping to smooth out 'laugh lines' so I just dab a little in that area. Unfortunately this is ridiculously overpriced but I keep buying it.

It did give my skin a nice glow, but it didn't seem to absorb any oil and looked greasy on my combo/mostly oily skin.

I love this for my thick, straight hair. It tames frizzies and puffiness way better than other smoothing and straigtening serums I've tried. But you have to be so careful not to use too much to avoid greasiness. This product is probably just best for hair that's thick and coarse.

I hate a 'made-up' look and don't wear blush every day, but I love this blush when I haven't gotten enough sleep and look pale. Also, it doesn't make me break out. It's just the right color for me and looks very natural and sheer- I have dark brown hair and a pale, yellow-toned complexion.

I'm surprised at all the negative feedback on this product since I really like it. I don't wear foundation, so maybe it's best on bare skin. It makes my skin look more flawless, matte and minimizes pores.

This product made me break out. I liked the way it looked immediately after application but it fades really fast.
