Lip Treatments -Trilogy - Intensive Lip Treatment

This lip treatment was given to me as part of a present and I didn't use it for ages but finally tried it and now I love it! It smells nice but not overpowering and makes my lips feel smooth and moist - I use it at night and before I put my lipstick on. I'm just coming to the end of the tube and am planning to repurchase as I haven't found another lip balm as good as this one!

Mascara -MAC - Opulash

I bought this mascara on a whim at the airport and have been pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The packaging is pretty standard but the product itself is excellent. It gives my lashes volume and makes them jet black. I always curl my lashes before putting mascara on and this holds the curl really well. I have just made a mistake and bought MAC's False Lashes Mascara but really wished I had just rebought Opulash!

I am so disappointed with this product which cost me £17.50 (so not particularly cheap). The shop assistant told me it would give me the false lash effect which I knew it wouldn't but I thought it would give me full long lashes. I had previously used MAC's Opulash mascara which I really liked and at £12 is a good price. This, however was such a let down, it gave my lashes a natural, defined look and that is not what I want from a mascara promising a false lash look!!! Am thinking of taking it back and complaining. If you want a mascara that gives your lashes more va va voom from MAC I'd say go with Opulash - which I wish I had done!!!

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche Skinscent

I'm going to buy this today (its payday!!!) as I have sprayed the tester on myself several times and I absoultely love it! It reminds me of summer holidays and is a perfect summery smell! Its not too overpowering also which is a good thing in the heat I feel.

Treatments -Phyto - Phyto 7

This is one of my HG products! I have fine, highlighted hair with damaged ends (oops being tonging my hair too much again!!!) I use this on my hair straight after towel drying, I use it on the ends and stay away from the scalp, I only use a small amount too. I feel that it makes my hair quite glossy and stops the frazzled look I sometimes get!!! After blowdrying/tonging I put another tiny bit on the ends to make my hair look smooth. Fabulous stuff - will definitely buy again!

Treatments -Kerastase - Ciment Thermique

My hairdresser used this on my hair before blow drying and I liked it so bought some! It is very good, but I am not sure it prevents further damage or is any better than some other products I use (phyto and Redken) so whilst I do like Ciment Thermique I think I'll try another product next time but I will use the tube up. Also it does smell lovely!!!

Very disappointed in this product, was recommended by a hairdresser and I bought it despite the high price tag. It left my hair feeling dry and smelt bad. Wish I hadn't wasted my money. Will not buy again.

Conditioner -Alterna - Caviar Treatment Conditioner

A hairdresser (not my usual one) recommended this prodcut to me, I was feeling frivolous and bought a bottle (£25). I wish I hadn't. I have fine, highlighted hair that is dry at the ends and I don't think this is moisturising enough (my Paul Mitchell condition is miles better and less than half price of this. I also don't like the smell of this - its a bit fishy! Will never buy this again or Alterna for that matter.

Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo & Shower Gel

I got a massive bottle of this as a present and I was pretty happy as I love the Grace fragrances! I have only used this as a shower gel - I would be worried about using it as a shampoo as I have highlighted hair and I am not convinced of any product that says it is a shower gel AND a shampoo?!? It makes me feel squeaky clean, the scent is gorgeous and it leaves a lovely fragrance on my skin - a lovely treat!

Fragrances -Philosophy - Pure Grace

Love this!!! Its such a clean, just out of the shower smell, its pefect for daytime and I always get compliments when wearing. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that I wished it was longer lasting - but I am not going to mark down for that as it is one of my favourite smells - will always buy again!

Toners -Dermalogica - Multi-active Toner

Best toner I have every used, I have quite oily skin but do not like to use harsh toners that strip all the oils away, I like something quite gentle. This is perfect, its really refreshing and leaves my face feeling very clean. Its not the cheapest product but as with other Dermalogica products it lasts an age so I don't mind buying it.

Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Active Moist

This is the best moisturiser I have ever used! It is pricey but a little goes a long way and it lasts me ages. I have oily skin and nearly all the moisturisers I had used in the past (both pricey and cheap) had caused me to break out in spots so I had ended up not using a moisturiser at all. But after a Dermalogica facial I decided to try Acive Moist and I am converted! It feels light and my skin absorbs it straight away. Will buy again and would recommend!

Self Tanners -Johnson & Johnson - Holiday Skin

Really didn't like this product. There had been a lot of hype over it so I thought I'd give it a shot. Firstly it doesn't absorb well, so when I applied it at night I had to go to bed feeling all slimy...ewwww! Then in the morning I found it had left me quite streaky. And to add to this it didn't have a nice smell. I gave the bottle to my sister who actually quite likes it....so maybe its just me?? Will stick to my Ambre Solaire moisturiser with a hint of fake tan in future!

Eyes -Shu Uemura - False Eyelashes

I have about 8 or 9 different pairs of Shu lashes and OH MY GOD they are amazing!!!!!! They are very easy to use and make such a difference - I always get complimented on them! If you are buying them for the first time, the assistant will put them on you and give you tips for when you put them on yourself. I recommend their glue and the tweezers (make specially for applying falsies) I would 100% recommend these!!!!

A fabulous product. Its easy to carry in your bag so you can use it whenever you've got a moment. Its definitely improved my cuticles and it absorbs quickly and even has a nice scent.
