Edit: I have since picked up another color, Rosette. At first, these lipsticks seem great. However, over time, I found that these lipsticks get greasier, which in turn, makes your lips look like very slick, which may or may not be something you like (I don't). It's not too big of a deal if you blot, but I'm taking off a lippie. I have this is Spotlight Beige, and it is my new everyday lipstick. The color is a medium, nude rose pink. The formula is less pigmented than the Lasting Finish lipstick, but it's still got good color pay-off. This feels just like a lip balm! It doesn't dry out my lips at all, and it lasts quite a while. Also, it'll last through snacking and sips of water, but probably not full meals. Re-applying is not a big deal to me, especially since this is one of the few lipsticks that I can apply straight from the tube. Plus, it doesn't get into the creases of my lips, which is one of my main problems with lipsticks. This is definitely worth a try!

Lip Gloss -Sally Hansen - Diamond Lip Treatment - ALL colours

I went ahead and bought this in Princess while my CVS still had it. It was on clearance and I had a $1 off, so it ended up being only $.75. Pros: Nice packaging Pretty color (nude pink, shimmery but not chunky glitter) Cons: Thick! Sticky Brush was frayed when I got it :( If my brush didn't come frayed, I might have liked this more, but even so, the gloss is really heavy and sticky and definitely not 12 hour wear. The fine print says, Apply as necessary, so the 12 hour lip treatment name is misleading. I wont buy this again.

Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Paris Presents Highlighter Brush

I wanted a stippling brush (says highlighter, but it's similar enough) to use liquid/cream foundation with. I've never actually used a stippling brush, so I didn't know what to expect. I found that it made my coverage cakey looking and uneven. I don't know if it's just me, but for $5, you might as well try it. However, I've just started using it for blush/bronzer and it works fine. It picks up a decent amount of color and blending is a breeze. As for the shedding, I haven't experienced a lot of it. Some hairs came out during the first wash, but it stopped after that. Of course, there might be the occasional stray hair, but it's not a big deal. I think it depends on how well you care care of it.

Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - High Intensity Pigment Bright Shadow Duo - Roaring 234

I bought this just for the blue color. I was really disappointed though. It's not as vibrant when I swatched it than in the pan, and you'll need a good primer to use it. It blends horribly as well - either too much or not at all. I only use the blue as a liner, applied with a wet liner brush. The brown surprised me. It looks like a muted, dull brown, but it's actually a nice almost-golden brown. It would be good for a neutral look, or as a crease color. I have the HiP Metallic duo in Platinum, and I was so happy with the pigmentation in that one that I expected this one to be like it.

Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Royal Gloss Delicious Lipgloss

I bought two of these in 051 Peach Crush and 201 Berry Crush at CVS while on clearance. I purchased them at different stores, and had two Rimmel coupons so I got them for dirt cheap! The first thing I noticed was the scent. They don't smell horrible, and it's not that strong, but it's there. I think they're supposed to smell like the shade (Peach Crush like peaches, Berry Crush like berries). I could do without it. Also, these glosses are a little sticky. However, the stickiness is minimal. I like these because they feel really light, not heavy and goopy like other glosses. Also, they're sheer and perfect to put over lipsticks. Peach Crush is really glossy while Berry Crush has more shimmer to it. Thumbs up from me.

Lips -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Lipstick

I purchased this at CVS on clearance for $1.50, so I wasn't expecting an HG product or anything. Pink Blush looked nice in the store, but I shouldn't have trusted the display! It's a bright barbie pink, and I can only wear when paired with a peachy gloss that cancels out the fuschia/pink. I might have bought this in another color, more suited to my skin tone, but the smell of this was awful! It reminded me of cough syrup! The scent is definitely noticeable and ruins a nice formula.
