This is a great, basic white inliner for brightening the eye area. I purchased Isadora Satin White Inliner while it was being discounted ( and I believe also, discontinued) at Walgreens for about $2 and some change. It's soft, creamy white shade really helps 'awaken' the eye area when applied in the inner corners of the eye, and works wonders tightlining near the lashline. I wear this often when I choose brighter shadow colors to help brighten the overall eye area. It's kajal consistency allows for a tug-free application, as well.

Eye Shadow -Too Faced - Eyeshadow Duo - Full Frontal

I am really liking this Too Faced duo. I'm a big fan of simple, clean eyeshadow looks, and Full Frontal allows me to streamline my application with its 2 shades in one compact. I use the cocoa brown shade as a liner around my eyes, and apply the gorgeous shimmery gold shade on the inner corners and eyelid. This gives the perfectly simple and casual smokey brown eye effortlessly. I practically use this daily, this is how much I love it! Sometimes, I'll use a soft buttery shade as a highlighter on the brow bone (UD Blunt works great) to add some depth. It just really looks great and compliments my medium brown eyes, really makes them pop! Update: I just discovered that the darker brown shade works grade as a brow filler~yup, just a few sheer swipes, and it lasts all day!

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Emerald City

I love it when I find a polish that is both high quality and affordable. Sally Hansen's 'Emerald City' is both of these qualities and more. First, I would describe EC as a true medium-green with a slight shimmer, think~bright Christmas tree. EC dries to a semi-glossy finish. They are not kidding when they say X-treme Wear. I have been wearing this polish for about 6 days now, and it only has very minimal tip wear. And this is without a topcoat! The wear that is appearing is very evenly distributed on the tips and not jagged and chipped like most other nail polishes tend to do as they wear off. I found EC for about $3 at my Wal-Mart along with the other X-treme Wears. I am hoping that this is a permanant shade along with Gunmetal, as they were released at the same time. Overall, I am very pleased with all the X-Treme Wear polishes by SH, especially EC. I wore this shade for St. Patties day and it so perfect. Now this is my favorite green polish!

Polishes -Sinful - Irish Green

You see, I wanted this color to work. Irish Green was released in 2008 Summer along with other neons. The bottle coloring drew me in~ it's a neon medium-green jelly polish. It took 4-5 coats of polish to achieve opacity. Even then, I still saw under the polish. I gave Irish Green the benefit of the doubt. But the real deal-breaker came when Irish Green stained my nails a horrendous shade of neon yellow after removing the polish! So, after many, frustrating episodes of acetone polish remover and cotton balls, I finally got the darn staining off from my nails~but my pinky nail still bears some history of Irish Green....I am dissapointed as Sinful usually impresses me with their formulas and color selections..but no way would I buy this again!!!

Misc Beauty Tools -Gillette - Venus Breeze

I was pleasantly suprised with the Venus Breeze! I am a devoted, loyal Schick Intuition user, only because my skin is so sensitive and I can not shave daily because of this. The Schick Intuition is great for my legs and underarms because of the conditioning bars around the razor itself. I strayed away from the Intuition only because I had run out of cartridges and had no extra cash or motivation to run out and shell out some cash for more. So I resorted to the next best bet, I had a Venus Breeze in my storage that I had recieved in a gift set. Well, I figured the worst that could happen would be on the first swipe on my legs, that I would know whether or not this was a bad idea (cuts/scrapes/irritation). Not the case! The Venus Breeze slid across my skin like a dream! No tugging, cuts, or irritation whatsoever! Of course, I applied a rich lather of shaving cream before shaving. The conditioning bar surrounding the triple bladed razor really protects the skin against any nicks or abrasions. I was able to quickly and effectively shave my legs to a buttery-smooth softness in a fairly quick amount of time. I also love how the razor pivots and moves along the curves of my skin, this is something that the Intuition razor lacks. For now, I am very content with the Venus Breeze Razor system and the results it provided me. I am only not so excited about the cost of replacement blades. At around $9-$10usd, for a pack of 3 replacement cartridges, this is something that can really put a dent in my wallet, especially when the summer months head along!

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Single - Antique Jade

Antique Jade is a beautiful medium-emerald green with a slightly silver shimmer finish. I love how it compliments my light brown eyes without overpowering them and being distracting. I had been in the market for a true, sophisticated green eyeshadow when I found Maybelline's Antique Jade for under $4usd. What I wanted was a classic green, think- the opposite of UD 'Graffiti'. Antique Jade applies like a dream, and is suprisingly well-pigmented for a drugstore brand. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 rating, was because of the lasting power. Or lack, thereof. I always, always recommend using a primer such as UDPP to increase lasting ablilities.I love finding ways to wear this shade, it's just works so beautifully with darker eyes.

Lips -Cover Girl - Outlast Lipstain - 400 Everbloom Kiss

Not too bad, Covergirl. I was truly and pleasantly suprised with this lipstain! The quality and value you get for the money is great, especially in these tighter economic times. Everbloom Kiss is a lovely, darker flushed raspberry that applies quite opaque, but soft on the lips. It never overpowers a finished look. Yes, packaging is different. It's like sharpie marker. You can't mess up with this format! I can quickly apply this on my lips and it distributes the color evenly. After an hour or more, I don't have that dreaded line around the edge of my lips that are routine with many,many other lipstains out there. My only complaint would be not knowing how much product is in the tube itself, or how much is remaining! It's basically a wait and see. But overall, a great buy at less than $8!

Lip Liners -Colorescience - Tickled Pink

Let me begin this review by saying that I have never, ever owned lip liner that I liked. Never. They just were an added step to a makeup routine that usually proved futile in the completion of a finished look. But Colorescience's lip liner in 'Tickled Pink' changed my opinion completely. This is the perfect pink for my lips. It is a natural, moisturizing, softly pigmented neutral pink lipliner that applies smooth, lasts throughout the day, and never appears harsh or abrasive against my lips natural shade. The packaging is so ingenious, too. The cap is also its sharpener, with a sliding lid/compartment to catch the shavings. The cap slips on it to complete the product. This really is great for on-the-go travelling and throwing in the purse for effortless touch ups. I just love pairing this with my L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick in 'Pink Tranquilo' to give an amazinging soft bubblegum, nude lip. Retails for $12.50 online through their website or stores like Nordstrom and Spalook.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Ped Egg

I totally bought into the hype of the Ped Egg. And I wish I hadn't. The Ped Egg did nothing for me. In fact, you could say it made my heels worse off! Granted, my feet are nowhere near what they exaggerate in the advertisments, but the skin gets harder and somewhat calloused on the heels from everyday wear, and outdoor exposure. Plus, I live in South Texas, where the weather is a constant 75 degrees in the winter. I live in sandals, flip flops, and flats year round practically. I really wanted the Ped Egg for one big reason: convenience. The packaging is cute, fits in the palm of the hand, and the greatest deal is the ability to contain the foot shavings for easy clean up. Nice, right? I mean, nobody likes having to buff a foot precariously over a trash can! After I purchased the Ped Egg at Walgreens for about $10, I was excited to give it a test run. So, I followed the instructions and used it. Buff, buff, buff, ow, buff, buff, ow, ow. And so on. It only made my heels sore and rough with torn areas of dry skin! Unsightly and painful. After trying the Ped Egg on several different occasions, unsucessfully, I have decided no longer to invest my time and effort into the Ped Egg. What works best is a cheapie LA Cross foot board and a slather of C.O Bigelow Mentha foot cream. Viola. You'll get smooth and sandal-ready feet. What I expected from the Ped Egg was a foot product revolution. What I got was something you'd expect to get from a late night infomercial.

Polishes -China Glaze - Blue Sparrow

I was feeling bummed because just after I fixed a torn nail, another broke. So, I decided to trim all my nails to a shorter, more managable length rather than go through the process of nail repair all over again. I love my nails longer, but thought, 'hmm..what to brighten my nail mood?' I looked through my collection and, viola, Blue Sparrow!!! ChG's Blue Sparrow is from the 2008 Ink collection which featured a whole bunch of neat shades, but this highly neon blue with funky glitter throughout was a definite standout. I applied 2 coats to achieve bottle coloring. One coat definitley isn't enough, as it applied very streaky. Another fall back that many other reviewers have noted is the finish being matte, and grainy to the touch. This can be fixed by, after letting the two coats of BS (lol) lightly dry, and add a coat of a high gloss topcoat. I used Revlon Color Stay Top Coat, and the results are great. It really leaves a smooth finish, and adds that gloss that really would have been great if the original formula possessed. All in all, this is a great shade. Makes me feel cheery after a bad nail week...but, I can only imagine how stubborn this will be to remove with all this glittery goodness!

Candles -Unlisted Brand - Glade Holiday Scents in Glistening Snow

I just had to write a review for this great little candle. Glistening Snow is a part of Glade's 2008 Holiday Scents line that includes Apple Cinnamon and Cinnamon Gingerbread, Cranberry Delight & Everlasting Pine, and so on. I am pretty sure that Glistening Snow is a newer scent that Glade has put out during the holidays as I don't recall seeing this last year. Glistening Snow is such a great holiday scent. It really does smell like a woodsy evergreen tree with a kick of spice. I guess the most fitting description would be a 'white christmas'. Once lit, the candle really fills the room with a pleasant and fragrant aroma within 10-15 minutes. The 4oz jar is great, too! The Glade logo sticker easily peels off and reveals an array of frosted snowflakes on the glass. This candle really looks more expensive than what it retails for. I recently bought a whole bunch of these and gifted them to teachers and neighbors. With the label removed it looks just like an expensive h/e candle! And it only sells for $2.50usd at most all grocers and mass market retailers. There are tons of coupons out there for these, so at any given time, you can easily grab these for less than $1.50usd!

Scrubs -Clean & Clear - Blackhead clearing scrub

I used this scrub for about a week now, and haven't had a positive reaction to it. For starters, this scrub has the most unappealing consistency. It's greasy, runny, and rough from the little blue beads used to 'exfoliate' away the blackheads. It didn't make my skin improve, help diminish the appearance of blackheads, or even make my skin smoother through exfoliation. Nope, just left a yuck-feeling film on my face that drove me crazy when I rinsed it away. It even smells off. Definitley not going to continue using.

Polishes -China Glaze - OMG Collection - DV8

Love ChG's DV8. It is the most unique holographic teal out there on the market. Actually, it may be the only true teal holographic available...Application was problematic as others have mentioned. The formula was very runny, and hard to control the amount applied with each swipe of the brush. But, after 2 coats, and a bit of cleanup, all was well and the shade on my nails was the same as the bottle. I applied Revlon Colorstay topcoat to seal the deal, and after 2 days now, not a chip in sight. Looks great with my fair, pink undertoned skin. But I can see this working on all skintones. Really eyecatching and vibrant in the sun, as the light really picks up on all the different sparkles and holographic elements. 4.5 lippies!

Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Collagen/Elastin Body Wash

I am suprised by all the positive reviews here! St. Ives Collagen Elastin did not go over well for me at all. It left a musky, almost second-hand smoke, scent on my skin whenever I had used it. I know, this is an odd comment to say the least!! It did lather well, and rinse clean, but that awful dry-down smell!! It really made me nauseous. I did try it out on a few different occasions, just to make sure I wasn't making things up~but nope! Smoky, smoky! So now it is off in some recycling plant hopefully being made into another bottle of unoffensive body wash. I will continue using Soft Soap Pomengranate Mango bodywash!

Blush -Milani - Smooth Finish Blush - Luminous

Absolutely gorgeous blush! Milani Minerals Powder Blush in Luminous is the most perfect shade of soft pink with peach undertones. The slightest hint of gold shimmer throughout adds just enough kick without looking garish or distracting. I would pick this blush in a heartbeat over NARS Orgasm, its well-known comparison buddy...The little, 2" fan brush included in the 2-compartment packaging actually does the job, sweeping just the right amount on cheekbones without excess, letting you build up the color gradually. Luminous gives me a perfectly healthy glow...Love it! Definitley backup worthy, and at around $6USD at drugstores, its a steal!!!
