I've always had oily/acne prone skin. Lately, even on BCP, I've been breaking out into cystic acne and clogged pores. I used a pricey mask I currently have in my cabinet that didn't cut it. Then I bought a knock-off of the Mint Julep mask and that was better but didn't give me the results I was hoping for. I took a chance on this mask without high expectations. In just one application, my skin has completely transformed. It actually cleared out my pores like clay masks are supposed to (yet so many others fall short). And even the pores it didn't get, all I had to do was use an extractor and the dirt came out so effortlessly. I used a salicylic acid gel all over after using this. What I woke up to was MUCH clearer and smoother skin. I would buy this again in a heartbeat and cannot wait to continue to use this to experience even better results.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Perfection Volumizing Mascara

I bought this based on the glowing reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. It's decent, but not worthy of the praise it gets. I'm currently using Maybelline Full N Soft, decided to give this a try, and I definitely prefer the Maybelline to this. The only good thing I can say about this mascara is that it does not get crunchy at all, lashes stay soft and pliable.

Cleansers -Philosophy - the microdelivery exfoliating wash

I've tried several Philosophy products and have been disappointed by almost every one of them. I was very hesitant to try this cleanser because of my past negative experiences (including the cult favorite Purity cleanser). Words cannot describe how happy I am that I gave this a shot. I use it mostly in the morning, and I have noticed a big difference in my skin after using it for about a week and a half. My skin is extremely oily yet dehydrated. It has also developed some sun spots over the past year or so. My skin has become so much clearer, more radiant, the texture has changed and the spots have become lighter and lighter. This is the "oomph" I've been looking for in my skincare. I wouldn't be without it.

Masks -Korres - Wild Rose Mask

I'm not convinced that this is a must-have product for me. The mask does seem to give a temporary brightening to the skin, but it's not that drastic. I have better results with my vitamin c serum. Will not repurchase once I run out.

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

After hearing all of the rave reviews about this fragrance I had to give it a try. Luckily, I couldn't bring myself to pay the full amount for a scent I had never smelled before so I got a sample from Sephora. I was really expecting more from this product. It's a decent scent in the sense that it's not terrible, but it's nothing to swoon over either. I even gave it the good old "wait and see", since there are some perfumes that I couldn't stand when I first applied it but turned out to smell heavenly. Not the case with this scent. When I first applied it, it reminded me somewhat of Pink Sugar but not as intense and sickeningly sweet. Good thing it was just a sample!

Primer/ Corrector -Amazing Cosmetics - Anti-Aging Primer

This is by far the best primer I've used. I have very oily skin and this keeps my skin from getting oily throughout the day. I have to blot maybe twice instead of 5 times. My makeup stays on much better too. A little goes a long way so try not to use too much. The primer is pricey but it's actually a primer and moisturizer in one. Not to mention it's worth it since it makes my mineral makeup look flawless. A definate staple in my makeup/skincare collection.

Pressed Powders -New York Color - Pressed Translucent Powder

I used to use MAC Blot Powder until I tried this. It's the same translucent finish without the pricey tag. Also, I notice that this lasts a lot longer product-wise. I used to run out of Blot Powder almost every 3 months and I've been using my current compact for about 5. Definately worth giving a try if you like to use a pressed powder to combat oiliness throughout the day.

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

I received this in a swap. This works beautifully with my skin. I have medium skin with golden undertones. I use this after I've applied my foundation/concealer. It gives my face a beautiful, soft glow. I can see where some people would apply too much so I try to use a light hand and if I need more I just add another layer. Will purchase in the future.

Lip Liners -Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipliner in Clear

I used to use Cargo's Reverse lip liner. Even though I liked this better than traditional colored liner, I prefer the Maybelline even more. It is actually clear, where the Cargo has a nudish color to it, and it keeps my lip color from running better. It can be a little hard to find for me but worth it.

It's not often that I fall in love this much with a hair product. I tried the shampoo/conditioner from this line and they were nothing special. This however made my coarse hair soft and manageable. I even caught a glimpse of my hair in the car window when I was standing outside and could see my hair shimmering. Here is the product description from the website: Decadent rinse-out mask spreads evenly through the lengths of hair to provide intense, deep conditioning with a dose of peptides and ceramide for targeted repair. It detangles to ease combability, rebalances lost moisture and helps restore hair’s youthful shine. I've used up all my samples of this and will definately purchase the full size.

Hair -Redken - Blown Away 09

I received a sample of this from my local professional beauty supply store. I have rather thick/coarse/dry hair. I used this product thinking I would get silky/smooth results. The texture is sort of a mix between a gel and a paste. It's sticky and very hard to work with when blow-drying. I would not recommend this product.

This is a nightly eye gel that I've been using for about 4 months now. I do not use it every night, maybe about 3 times a week. I love how it feels after applied. It starts off as cool, but then it tingles. I would probably not recommend this for someone with sensitive eyes. It is a refreshing treatment, but for the money, I would not repurchase.

One of my top blushes. Although I wear it year round, I find it looks best in the summer. It's peach with a gold shimmer to it. I love the packaging too. It has a mirror when you open it and is magnetic, so you can make sure it stays closed.

Cleansers -Aveeno - Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser

This cleanser works very well for me. It has SA which helps with acne. I cannot comment on how well it works for this issue since I only get blemishes here and there. I do like how well it cleanses, how it feels, and that it is foaming. I used to use Bioelements Flash Foaming Cleanser which I love, but needed a cheaper alternative. Plus, this is easier to find. Will repurchase.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Moisture Extreme - Born With It [DISCONTINUED]

LOOOOVEEE this color. I was a little too pale when I first bought this and almost threw it away. But now that I'm not as pale it looks gorgeous on me. Great for yellow-toned skin. Perfect shade of pinky-mauve with a hint of golden tones to it.
