I bought this product on a whim. I needed an under eye brightener and have not really had the time to get shopping. I find it very dry and hard to blend. I have to put an abundance of eye cream or moisturizer to help it blend and still it's tough. I've tried both my finger and a dedicated brush. Still hard to blend. Having said that...I did still give three lippies because once I get it blended it I do like the look, and it seems to last most of the day, I will keep it around until it's used up, (which shouldn't be to long since it wastes product every time you screw to lid to dispense). Once it is gone I wont be repurchasing.
This takes me back (way back) to my grandmother's dressing table. She used this to take her make up off. Every time I open the jar and slather this on my face I think of her. She was a very beautiful lady who always loved make up and hair. To this day my mother says that I am just like her. I take that as a compliment. I do think it removes make up pretty well, but I do always follow with a good cleanser as well. I feel that if you wear make-up that the two steps are important to get your skin really clean at night-time.

Love this product. I found out about it from u-tube Wayne Gross makeup artist. If you haven't subscribed to him you really should. He's full of GREAT ideas. I like the way this product comes out in a fine mist.It is weightless and just seems to lock in the look that you've just worked so hard to create. The only thing is that I think this stuff is quite expensive. But I will definately re-order (next time the largest bottle).... Not all products are worth their money but this one is.
I really did not need another blush. But I got this for one of those buy one get the next one for 50% off. Turns out I kind of like this blush. I can apply it with my fingers and let it cook then give a final blend and it kind of looks like I'm lit from within, and not in a glitter ball kind of way, but very natural. I can also apply with a blush brush and get a nice effect.I have one of the coffee shades I forget which one, but it's very natural. I do not like the packaging, except for the fact that you can see from the outside which shade it is. I find it very hard to open, I almost broke it today trying to open. So I'm not 100% sure I would re-purchase but I might. For a drug store product I think it looks nice. Not HG by any means, but still a good blush.
This is the only thing that I have found that will truly resurface skin and tackle wrinkles. Outside of more invasive procedures. There are some tricks to working with the stuff though. #1) Let your face rest for about 20-30 minutes at night after you have cleansed. For some reason it likes a dry face. #2) Use sparingly. I had a real detailed lesson in this from my plastics doc. And he is always right LOL #3) Work you way from just a couple of times a week up to ever how many nights is good for you. #4) Careful around your nose/nasal area...it can produce redness burning. #5) Give it a minute to work, you didn't get those wrinkles over night. But given a chance it will work.
I can't beleive that I didn't own this brush. I kept seeing the reviews so I thought for 8.00$ I must give it a try. It is sooooooo soft and luxerious. Did I spell that right? To me it seems a little bulky for bronzer. (I have a mac brush that I am pretty satisfied with for that). ..So, I use it at the very end of my application so just buff, buff, did I say buff. And blend any missed edges. I am loving it. I think everyone should have this brush.

Used this for the first time early this morning. Used with my luminese air brush. I can't quite describe this (magic). My skin looks polished but not made up. I can still see my own skin through but it looks perfect. It is now afte6 PM and my face looks as fresh as it did first thing this morning. I'm sold. Now I can't wait to try their cream foundation. Going to use that at highlight and contour and then use this over. I'm looking forward to some wonderful results.
I don't know why I have never rated this prodcut. I've literally used it for years. I fish started using in when I was a make up artist for Walt Disney Entertainment. We used a lot of BenNye products. So this was always in our kits. This prodcut is more of a fixative. Once you have sprayed your face and let this product dry it is not going anywhere. Heat, Sweat, wind, rain. Nothing is going to make your make up budge. It has a slightly mint scent. Which goes away really quickly. I don't use this product for every day. I can always feel it on my skin almost like hairspray, but I am never without it for events or days that I need make up to last and last. And as with all BenNye products it is not real expensive.

I have been wanting to try this product for a long time. Finally I broke down and ordered it. #1) I was surprised at how quickly it came (and the shipping was free) #2) I was shocked at how quickly I picked up on how to use the system. It goes on kind of like magic, and before your eyes you can see your skin looking flawless. But...The tell all came on Saturday when I actually got up around 6:00 in the morning to apply (my no make up look). I had a very important graduation to attend. Somewhere around noon my picture was taken with the graduate. Later on that day I saw the picture posted on Facebook. OMG...I look 15 years younger, and my face is literally flawless in the photo, yet didn't look (made up). I don't need any further convincing. Just for the heck I have ordered Kett for airbrush to try with the system, just to see if there is any diference. But for now....This is my HG foundation. It is worth the money, time and effort. I forgot to mention that after a few minutes I finish everything with a light duting of my LaBella Donna Loose Powder. (It's still the best) loose powder I've ever used. And it has a full spectrum sun block.
Ok, so I kept reading the great reviews on this product. So I decided to give it a try. I'm still looking for my HG lip prodcuct since Christian Dior stopped making my favorite of all time. I love the way this product goes on. I think I purchased it in Nude. I thought there is not way with it feeling this nice at first that it was going to last. To my GREAT surprise a couple of hours later after having a Diet Mountian Dew (now talk about HG) Love me some dew. I digress sorry; After 2-3 hours the product was still on my lips and it still felt great. I love this so much that I am going to send it in "Berry" to my mother for mothers day. She's 76 now and unsless I'm there to apply sometimes something that is to Lip Stickie (is that a word)? ....can be a little over-whelming. I think she's going to love this product. I looks and feels great and will give her a little colour, that will be forgiving if she makes a little mistake when applying.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I love EVOO/cold press for taking off make-up. When I do my make up I buff it well in to my skin. But when I'm ready at night to take it off, I want it gone. No trace! EVOO does the trick. As for how is dispense it. I have a pretty little air-tight jar that I fill to the brim with cotton pads, then I soak them in the EVOO. A saturated pad is always ready when I need it. And it's amazing what comes off on the cotton. I then follow with whatever cleanser I'm in love with at the time. These days it's a gentle foaming cleanser from Lancome. I just feel like my face is cleaner after the use of the olive oil. That is my 2cents worth.
Get This It's Wonderful Doesn't clump Doesn't wear off until you take it off.
Foundations -La Bella Donna - loose mineral powder foundation
JayLammMD 1/25/2012 11:14:00 PM
It's finally happened, after 100's of dollars and giving away stuff that didn't exactly work, I found La Bella Donna. I was honored to attend an event at Montage Deer Valley Resort at the exclusive Kim Vo Salon. They had a make up artist there from La Bella Donna. I coulnd't beleive the claims, It's all organic, (triple milled rock) it has a natural SPF for UVA, and UVB rays. It's lasts all day long until you remove it. Through sweat, wind, snow, pollutants, she said this stuff will stay on. She colouor matched me and I loved it instantly. I've worn it every day since, and all of the promises are true. It's on the pricey side, but given that I've been using it for two months now and there is barely a dent in the prodcuct, I think it ends up being reasonable. It doesn't fell itchy like most mineral make up I've tried. I has a glow, not a shine. I also use their pressed powder in the shade Amber for a bronzer. I can't wait to save up and try some of their other products. Also this product can be layered. Use it first...then apply whatever you like over it, It acts as a barrier and will not let the other product absorb and clog your pores. And you never have to add a sunscreen. Five Lippies and HG for this prodcuts.
Let me start by saying I can't stand the associates at our local Mac counter here in Salt Lake City Nordies. I'd almost rather cut off an arm than to give them any of my hard earned $$. But....I needed a good neutral skin toned base to cover some tiny blueish veins that are starting to show as the skin on my lids starts to get thinner with age. This stuff did the trick. I find that I have to work rather quickly, but it looks completely natural and stays put all day long, never looks cakey or made-up. This will be a staple in my kit.
Moisturizers -Elizabeth Arden - Millenium NIght Renewal Cream
JayLammMD 8/18/2011 11:46:00 PM
HG night cream. I don't know how this stuff works. But I swear to you it somehow almost makes lines disapear. I do (A LOT) to my face. Hell, it's botoxed, it's laser re-surfaced, peeled, polished you name it, and it lookes good for 51 years old. My guy leaves this one wrinkle on my forehead because he says it adds character (WHATEVER). I looked up in the rearview mirror the other day and that one wrinkle is gone. The only thing I have changed about my regimin is this cream. Like I said, I have no idea how it happened but it did. I don't even remember how I got this cream I think my mom bought it and didn't like the smell and said "here take this". GOOD FOR ME! my new HG night cream. And after asking my derm, it's OK to use with retinoids witch I also swear by.
