Top/Base Coats -Nubar - Diamont Top Coat

There has been a lot of talk going round about how this product is no good since they changed the formula - I just want to confirm that they HAVE changed it back and this is EASILY the best topcoat I have used. This is pretty much HG for me and I am already considering buying several backups even though I've only used it a few times! This tc dries incredibly fast - to-the-touch in less than a minute, and safe to do light work with your hands after five. Also this tc is thick and glossy and leaves my mani looking incredibly shiny. It seems to be self-settling meaning it's great over glitters; I swatched I Lily Love You and two coats of Diamont left it smooth to the touch. If you can get hold of the good formula (and it shouldn't be too hard now I hope) this topcoat is spectacular. I recommend feelunique.com for UK/EU buyers (not affiliated) as they will replace any bad formula bottles with good and they are wonderfully priced too.

I wasn't crazy about this colour - it's too pink-leaning for my preference and I did find it somewhat streaky on application. Not terrible but wouldn't buy again.

This polish is lovely, a wonderful medium purple foil with great coverage and application. Very eye-catching. Expensive in the UK but would buy again.

Burgundy base with purple/blue duochrome glass fleck finish. This is very interesting and definitely an unusual polish. Takes three coats to be totally opaque and the brush is terribly thin but the colour itself is very cool if you are into very dark polishes with character.

Polishes -OPI - Cuckoo For This Color

This is a lovely polish with a nice shimmer to it - dries well with no streaks but IME needs three coats to be fully opaque and can tend to be a bit bald at the very tip of the nail when you've wrapped. Probably not the most fascinating colour in the world but it's a solid performer.

Top/Base Coats -OPI - RapiDry Top Coat

Hmm. I'm a little on the fence about this product; it definitely has its pros and cons. I have found that it really is fast-drying; I have done my nails about a half hour before bed and not woken with any sheet marks. Even when I put this on top of two coats of the terrible-formula Fairy Dust it was safe the following morning. I definitely haven't had any problem with the thickness of the formula, it seems fine to me, nor have I had any bubbling at all. However there are a couple of smaller downsides, ones which aren't quite enough to push this into a bad review but the presence of which are preventing a good review also. First up, I'm not totally convinced about the shine on this product. I can get great shine out of it after two coats, but I don't really want to have to add two coats of tc after two or more coats of colour plus a base. Secondly, I've had some application problems which are leaving me with what can only be described as very minor streaks, if that makes sense in a clear tc. The streaks are almost not even there but for the price I paid I would not expect to see any at all. They aren't doing any damage to the colour, more just the texture/finish of the tc. Anyway, for drying up your mani quickly I can't fault it, but I will be giving SV a try after my bottle of RapiDry has run its course.

Polishes -OPI - Yoga-Ta Get This Blue!

Wonderful, everything you'd want in a navy polish. It's wonderfully dark but still recognisably blue even in poorer light. Looks great with a glitter tc; like the sky just moments before dawn.

This product is kind of tricky. I am wearing it at the moment layered over OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue and it looks stunning. HOWEVER! I also, at first, thought the glitter in one layer of this was too sparse, so I did a second layer... much to my regret. A second layer leaves it just a little TOO dense for me, and worst of all, I have to agree that the formula of this polish is pretty bad. It's very thick and goopy and the second layer has left my nails almost looking like they have a layer of gels over them. Also it takes FOREVER to dry; I have a fast-drying tc over so of course it is dry to the touch and I can get on with my day and even go to bed with no problem, however that's entirely down to the topcoat -- underneath that the Fairy Dust is still dentable, even though it's about a day since I put it on. Disappointing! I'm going to add a little thinner to it to see if that improves the formula. However I have still given this 3/5 becaus it relly is beautiful and unlike many other prismatic glitters, the holo effect is still visible under indoor/artificial lighting. If you decide to persevere with it, it will be something which could definitely give you a pick-me-up on more dreary days.

Polishes -OPI - Tease-y Does It

LOVE this polish. Being a deep burgundy brown it's not the normal sort of colour I would wear, but the glass fleck/micro-glitter makes it mesmerising and has opened up a whole new world of lemmings for me! Goes on opaque after two coats but needs two coats of tc to be completely smooth and shiny.

Amending my review as I am totally over the crackle fad now. However as far as crackles go this one is a decent one and quite pretty if you like that sort of thing.

THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT PURPLE-XING Gorgeous polish - deep purple jelly with small and large holographic glitter pieces. This went on opaque in two coats but is incredibly gritty, even after two coats of tc, so the foil method is a must on removal. Chipped after two days which was a shame.

This is a semi-sheer lavender jelly with tiny holographic glitter. The holo effect is subtle and scattered, thus only fully visible in direct sunlight. I managed to get this opaque in three coats. The finish is smooth even without topcoat, which is always a plus! Overall I found this polish wonderful although I would reserve it for sunny days when I'm going to be outside; in the shade the glitter looks plain silver and while it is still very beautiful it doesn'y show the full potential of this polish.

I only use this on my dark circles and I have found it very good for that. Can't comment on how it works for scars and other blemishes but I find it does very well for my dark circles. Also can't comment on how well it stays on, as no make-up ever stays on my uber oily skin for very long. :(

Pros: Range of colours. Dry time. Pigmentation. Cons: WEAR. Even with bc/tc this polish lasts max two days before chipping. I can get away with it on my toenails as they don't take as much abuse as my fingers do but I wouldn't buy this for wearing on my hands again.

Polishes -OPI - Suzi Skis in the Pyrenees Suede

This polish sure is beautiful! It was my first matte shade and I do love it. Looks stunning matte but you can also put a topcoat on to deepen the shimmer and colour - and also to make the mani last longer. :P I wore this with Barry M 3-in-1 tc/bc/strengthener as base and sandwiched between layers and have to say it did last me a good two days before I got bored and removed it - it was chip free at that point. My only criticism is that it would be opaque after two coats if it wasn't for a very strange patchiness to the application, which I can only attribute to the B3F/matte combo. It needed spot-healing on bald spots after the second coat but due to the matte finish and fast-drying that wasn't a huge issue for me. Overall would recommend.
