Polishes -Essie - Tart Deco

For some reason, mine is super thick. As this is only my 2nd Essie purchase, I can't really make a claim about that, but my other is also a bit thick. Moving on, LOVE the color! HATE the brushes. Something a little more along the lines of an OPI one would be much preferred, but since I like the color enough, I can make due ^_^

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Loose Pigment - Smog

I absolutely, completely, utterly HATE this packaging. Yeah, the brush inside the tube may have been a good idea, but that is it. If you try to use it straight out of the product, even tapping it off, it does not work well! You end up with twice as much product on your face in places that you don't want! I end up tapping a little out of the tube and using my own brushes, but even this way, i feel like i use far too much. I have to say though, I bought 4 of them from UD on sale for $5 each, if they hadn't been, I don't think I would have purchased them. Let's hope the reason they are on sale is that they are changing the packaging! I really do love the colors I have ( goddess, smog, shattered, and shag) just like 99% of the UD colors, but seriously. this is too much of a pain in the neck for daily use!

Polishes -OPI - Greenwich Village

I was looking for a retro green shade for the summer, and this is it! I am absolutely in love with the color! The only thing that really irks me is how many layers of the polish i need to get the bottle color. Depending on my base coat, 2-4 is about normal. Add some yellow details with the color, and it's twice as awesome!

Lips -Revlon - Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm
rated 5 of 5
DestinyLost 6/11/2010 1:07:00 PM

absolutely love! This could not be more awesome! the colors i got are wonderful (frenzy and passion) even the test swipe i did on my hand took a long time to take off! the balm is light and conditioning and adds just what the stain needs. The sizes are a bit smaller than the covergirl lip stains (which I haven't tried by the way...) But, at least for the colors (and to a lesser degree the much more appealing name...) they are most definitely worth it! On lip stains in general, i never wear lipstick, it wears off too fast and basically ends up being pointless in my opinion. Also.. they are just too thick for my liking. lip stains are PERFECT!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Roux - Mendex Hair Repair Treatment
rated 5 of 5

ABSOLUTELY in love with this product. I stripped and then dyed my hair blond which left it feeling like straw =/ not so awesome. so i used this. i put it on my hair and used a blow dryer to kind of infuse it into my hair, and after one time, my hair was back to normal and felt absolutely wonderful! I plan on adding some blond highlights sometime soon, and I am so happy that I have this for afterward!

Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows - Alice in Wonderland [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

Absolutely love this. I wanted to get in on the last book of shadows, but if i had gotten that one, i wouldn't have gotten the Alice palette. So many colors are wonderful, and i absolutely love the flipside liner, which i would have never bought on it's own. soooo happy i got it before it sold out this time!

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Makeup
rated 4 of 5
DestinyLost 3/23/2010 2:10:00 PM

I really like this. It has just a hint of shimmer, which I sometimes offset with adding a little bit of my bare mineals over top, or HD powder from elf. It's not super thick, and blends in without looking like you have tons of product on your skin. ...and the pump is wonderful! Catch them when they are on sale and the awesome is doubled.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Eyeshadow Brush

I bought this brush for about $1 and it was really worth the price! Some of the hairs have fallen out of the brush, but not too much as to be annoying. The colors go on great with it, and i love it! You will get more than your money is worth with this brush!

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Smudge Eye Sponge
rated 2 of 5
DestinyLost 12/18/2009 8:54:00 AM

I am really disappointed in this. The sponge moves around a lot inside of the metal, which wasn't even attached to the handle! I ended up having to glue that back. If it had been in better shape when i bought it, I would have been much, much happier with the product, but when i finally get fed up with this one, I am definitely going with another brand.

For the price, you just can't beat this. It doesn't pinch my eyelids and works great! Definitely surprised by the quality of something as cheap as this!

This is just too cute! I was planning on getting the Urban Decay Book of Shadows II, but Sephora was out, so i opted to get this instead, since it has a few of the same colors. I absolutely LOVE it! The colors are amazing, the quality is superb, and they all go wonderful together! It is definitely worth a try!

Polishes -Sinful - Nail Polish (all colors)
rated 4 of 5
DestinyLost 12/1/2009 11:50:00 AM

I honestly adore these. I have a few of the sinful nail colors, and i love them. They are cheap, and look beautiful! They are a little on the thin side, I normally use about 3 coats of all the colors that I have, but they always turn out smooth! I can't really attest to the speed in which they dry, as I always finish with seche vite soon after the final coat of color. But for around $2, it's definitely worth a try!

Polishes -OPI - Black Tie Optional
rated 5 of 5
DestinyLost 11/18/2009 3:29:00 PM

This is one of my favorite colors! I bought it when it first came out a few years ago, and it's since been discontinued. I really, really wish i would have bought more of it, because trying to find it now, for a decent price is ridiculous!

Polishes -FingerPaints - What An Exhibition!
rated 5 of 5
DestinyLost 11/18/2009 11:30:00 AM

This has been one of my absolute favorite colors for years. When i can't decide what to wear, i pick this. It is my go-to red, which is very odd for me, as red is not one of my favorite nail colors. (it's a little too traditional for me ^_^) They have awesomely fun names, all related in some way to art and paints. The one negative i have with this brand in general is that it's a little thin. I normally do about 3-4 coats of this, depending on how dark i want it to be.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set
rated 5 of 5
DestinyLost 11/18/2009 10:48:00 AM

Completely amazing, especially for artificial brushes. At $10, they are perfect for beginners and anyone else who is looking for a great and inexpensive brush set. They are extremely soft, and i have had no problems with the fibers falling out of them. I Love These! They are made with bamboo handles, recycled aluminum and the bristles are a cruelty-free taklon.
