Foundations -RMK - Creamy Foundation

I go for this foundation whenever i need more coverage. It provides a medium to full coverage without looking cakey and blends into my skin incredibly well and naturally. It didn't hold the moisture as well as my La mer Fluid foundation(HG) but it didn't dry out my skin though like many other foundations. I bought this foundation because i found out from a japanese magazine that this is 1 of the the top selling foundation in Japan and some of the asian countries and i'm glad that i did. I bought the shade in 202 with pinkish tone which is the perfect match for my complexion. I will repurchase it if i ever run out of it.

Eyeliner -Shu Uemura - Drawing Pencil

I actually simply bought this el in ME Black about 2 years ago without any research done and i used it less than 5 times and kept it in my drawer since then. i tried a few more brands after that including the BB gel liner & Chanel Stylo Yeux as i always thought there were many better things out there. I was not satisfied with them because of the staying power eventhough they claimed to be waterproof. Even the BB gel liner did smudge or flake on my non-oily or rather dry eyelids (particularly the bottom/water line) after 5 or 6 hours. i was very fed up and thought it was impossible for any el to be smudgeproof & waterproof for the bottom line. After reading all the reviews here i took out this pencil and used it again. It was unbelievable that this pencil was really smudgeproof on the bottom line after it set. It disappered somehow and faded a little after few hours in the humid weather that i lived without giving me racoon eyes. So i only need to touch up the bottom line after a few hours rather than cleaning up the mess under my eyes. It's texture is soft and the line is very natural compared to the liquid /gel eye liner. I always use this pencil for the bottom line and Majolica Majorca liquid liner/BB gel liner on the upper eyelid as they tend to stay longer and i dont find much smudging problem with them on my upper eyelid. i'm definitely going to try the brown and blue color. E/L is the most important part of my makeup. If i could only choose 1 item in my life this would be it!

Moisturizers -SKII - Aqua Physics

It's a gel-type moisturizer with great moisturizing power and yet not too greasy. It's fragrance free and really hydrates my skin well. However i think it might be too rich for oily skin so i only use it on my cheeks and drier parts on my face and clinique moisture surge extended gel on the rest.I love the texture that leaves a film of moisture on my skin. It works best as a makeup base that reduces the drying effect of foundation & powder. I use it with the new aqua physics serum...a perfect combination(the serum didn't do anything on my face when using it alone). My favourite moisturizer now! would definitely repurchase it.

Toners -Kose - Medicated Sekkisei

Suprisingly this toner with rather strong alcohol worked greatly on my sensitive skin. I have been using this toner on and off over the years and i think i had finished at least 4 to 5 bottles in total. I don't see obvious result when i pat it on my face as a toner twice a day. However the result is amazing when i soak the lotion mask in it. It makes my skin softer, clearer and more radiant immediately. Even though the smell is really annoying i will continue to use it since it didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. I'm planning to get another 360ml bottle this coming year end after i stopped using it for a while. I will use it twice a week as a whitening mask in order to maintain a flawless & impeccable complexion. The price is reasonable though for such a big bottle.

Toners -Kiehls - Cucumber Herbal Toner

This toner didn't work on me even though it is alcohol-free. It stung & burned my face once it touched the surface. i had to quickly wash my face with cool water to reduce the hot & burning sensation. Redness & rashes appeared on that area immediately. I was so dissapointed as i thought this product was meant for sensitive skin as stated on the bottle. I think this product is only good for those with normal & not easily stimulated skin. In order not to waste the money i've spent on it i only use it on my legs and hands.Eventhough the price is very reasonable I will never buy this product again in my life.

This is also one of my favourite eye cream gel. I do not have much problem on the skin around my eyes. i just experienced a bit of dryness sometimes when i used my eyeshadow brush too hard and it hurt my delicate eyes area. So i just need a normal moisturizing eye cream to maintain it. I can't tell if it is good for other functions(combating dark circles/puffiness). This eye cream-gel provides just the perfect texture without any grease left. My skin normally could not accept most fragranced or scented products but i really love the smell of this eye cream. The lovely light scent is so relaxing and makes me enjoy using it so much. All Darphin products have always been so expensive and this one is no exception too but their products have very high quality.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

This is a pretty good moisturizer for my sensitives and combo skin. It doesn't cause me any breakouts as my skin is reactive to most of the products and would tend to breakout easily everytime i use the wrong products. It is completely oil-free and provides just the right amount of hydration for my skin except my dry/sensitive cheeks. I need to layer another richer moisturizer on top of my cheeks area to eliminate the dryness and tightness i feel. I tend to use a lot of it as it absorbs too quickly into my thirsty skin. The price is really killing me as I finish the whole jar in just about or less than 2.5 months time. It costs me about US$50 or RM160 a jar in Malaysia. I hope i can get it cheaper elsewehere. I will continue to buy it until i find a cheaper and better alternative.

This is my HG serum. I'm on my 4th bottle now and i will continue to use it. I no longer have any drynees and tightness on my cheeks after adding this product to my skincare regime. It provides sufficient moisture without being sticky. Eventhough it's very expensive but i will definitely repurchase it as it's a must product for me. EDIT on 04/01/09: I take off 1 lippie as this is no longer my HG. I still like it but wont buy it again (unless i have extra budget) beacause i've found my new HG serum which is the Kose Cosme Decorte Moisture Liposome. This is really really the best thing i've used in my life. Please see my review on this.

This is the lightest and finest loose powder i've ever tried. It was so light until it got into my nose if i didn't hold my breath when dusting it on to my face. I bought the translucent shade for my fair complexion. It will probably last me forever since i only use very little on my oily area once or twice a week. I transfered some of them from the huge stupid glass jar and carrying it with me whenver i'm out.

Liquid -La Mer - Skincolor De La Mer The Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15

La Mer's liquid foundation has to be the best I've ever tried. It has light-to-medium coverage and the texture is silky. It made my skin so radiant & dewy after i set it with the la mer loose powder. I bought it in Ivory as i have very fair asian skin. I have combo & breakout-prone skin with oily t-zone and dry cheeks. It did not irritate my sensitive skin like many other foundations did. I normally couldn't wear makeup for long hours as my cheeks would become very sensitive and dry. With this foundation i have no more problem in wearing foundation for the whole day. A litttle goes a long way. Since i don't wear makeup everyday i guess it will probably last me for at least 2 years with 1 to 2 usage per week. So it's worth for me to repurchase it whenever i run out of it.

Cleansers -Shu Uemura - Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/I

This is actually another version of shu cleasing oil for dry & sensitives skin. I have tried a few of them from the range over the years(green tea, normal yellow balancing oil & this light yellow A/I version) and i like them all. It's so hard for me to tell which is the one i like most but this version gives the most moisture to my skin. It also soothes & calms my skin so much than the others. I have combo skin with oily t-zone and dry/sensitives cheeks. So this is really my favourite cleansing oil. I love the smell of the essential oil and it doesn't cause me any breakout at all. Most of the time i use Clarins cleansing milk as an alternative since this oil is so expensive and I only use it when i need to remove makeup or when the time my skin is very unstable. I will always repurchase it whenever my budget allows me to do so.

Eyeliner -Chanel - Stylo Yeux Waterproof Ebene

I really hope i could like this eyeliner as the line it gave was so natural as if i was not wearing any eyeliner at all. It also goes on smoothly & gives u a true deep black line even if u use it lightly. However it is not waterproof enough as it claims to be. It started to smudge & flake after only about 3 hours even when i was sitting in an air cond room without much movement & facial expression. It didn't smudge or flake very badly though but i ended up like having darker eye begs that i couldn't tolerate. I do not have oily eyelids & my skin is only oily at the t-zone area but normal on the rest. In a humid weather that i live the most important thing i would consider on an eyeliner is the staying power. So i would rather go back to my Shu Liquid eyeliner even though the black ink line it gives is not as natural as this chanel eyeliner does. It has never caused me any problem on flakiness or smudging even though it is not waterproof. i was so sad as i really wanted so much to use this eyeliner. I will try to use it again on my upper eyelid only and see if it will smudge lesser. I wont repurchase it.
