Polishes -NARS - Pussy Galore

...dealing with the chipping and minimal wear is worth the shock effect when someone asks what nail polish you're wearing and you tell them the NAME. I wear more corals and reds and prefer Creative Polish, so I think this will likely be my first and last NARS polish purchase.

I agree with the comments below - this is a great lipstick with a nice color selection and great wear. The breath freshening claim can be left behind - after all, who deliberately eats their lipstick? - and perhaps the sting from menthol(?) could be lessened, but this is all around one of the best lipsticks that I have used. My SO actually commented that he LIKED the taste of it.

See the "All Lacquers" section for comments on formulation. Yet another bright lip lacquer - this one in Fuschia. 80's fuschia. This would look exceptional on darker complexions, but looks clown-like on my medium, warm, freckled skin tone.

No kisses for you! Lacquer is sticky and has a seriously foul odor. However it does have a gorgeous opaque stain and great shine. If you hate the formulation, but like the look, Dior Plastic Shine is a better option.

FLASH! I broke out. I suppose I had better stick with PC or Arden for my face. This product dried quickly and the color was nice - the blemishes were not. Sensitive or oily skin, beware.

Cute packagint, but it can come out of a Campbells' Soup can and it would make no difference, this is a great product. A glance @ my profile will let you know that I do indeed like volume. Lightweight, not sticky, and it doesn't weigh your hair down.

Lotions/ Creams -Palmers - Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula

A staple lotion - why do so many people not use this product? The scent is warm with a slight note of chocolate, and the lotion makes your skin silky smooth. I've tried other brands, but I prefer the formulation and smell of Palmers. I wear mostly warm, powder based fragrances, and this lotion compliments them nicely.

I tend to steer clear obvious fruit scents, but was pleasantly surprised when I tested this @ the store and found it to be warm and sweet. The lotion itself is light and smooth and absorbs quickly. A good alternative to the overly sweet scents of Bath and Body Works.

The pot and the smell ensure that this product will not be a repeat purchase, but the color (Tenderheart) and texture of the gloss are difficult to replicate. What a dilemma...Clinique, please reformulate!

OK, so I'm somewhat conservative in the fragrance arena, but an overhyped fragrance has no personality to me, so I tend judge even before I sniff. I do like the hint of chocolate to the scent, but I'm not entirely crazy about the low notes of the fragrance as the day wears on - not a fresh scent by any means.

Mascara -Jane - Fan Club Curling Mascara

Count me out of this "fan club". I have yet to try a curling mascara that will actually produce a comparable curl to that of an eyelash curler. The formulation of this mascara was OK - no flaking or smearing - but it took a bit of effort to build up the length and thickness that I prefer.

I too own this lipstick as a GWP, and tend to prefer a bit more color on my lips. This would be a great lipstick for a pre teen or a light, natural look.
