One of my few HG nudes. Has a peachy undertone so it doesn't make you look like a corpse. Has a glossy look to it making lips look plump, juicy, and shiny. Looks even better with a nude lip line (I use palladio spice lip liner). Great daytime or nighttime shade..very versatile..totally lives up to the hype.

Brows -MAC - Impeccable Brow Pencil - Blonde

I accidentally ordered 3 of these instead of dirty blonde and find the colors very similar. Blonde is a tad lighter with a slightly different undertone (has more brown to it). Both work wonderfully for my nc25 skintone and dark brown hair even though I prefer dirty blonde. You don't necessarily have to be blonde to use these pencils.. They look so natural on me and create really nice, full looking arched eyebrows I wish I was born with. Mac is going to discontunie these so I suggest snatching some before it's too late!

I am probably as picking with eyebrow pencils as I am with the food I eat. Mac's impeccable brow pencils are the BEST, hands down. They come in these shades: blonde, dirty blonde, taupe, black. I know taupe gets a lot of love but dirty blonde is my HG. It is amazing for making my eyebrows look fuller, darker, and arched while seeming completely natural. I love the waxy feel to these pencils that I get from no other mu brand. The lasting-power is also great in my opinion. I accidentally ordered 3 blonde pencils and its very similar to dirty b londe but a tad lighter. Mac is going to discontinue these (except black), so I suggest stocking up if you can. I already have 5 backups

Lipstick -MAC - Flamingo

Flamingo is highly sought after and it's because there IS NO other color like it. Its a nice, very wearable, fun and sexy watermelon shade. Its comparable to ever hip but not as orange or pigmented. Flamingo can be applied for more intensity which is what I usually do. Its a lustre and begins as a sheer wash of color. I wish it lasted longer because I find myself reapplying after several hours of wear, even if I haven't ate. Anyway, I have 2 and I hope they last me a long time, I tend to finish mac lipsticks pretty quickly. This lipstick looks great on my nc25 skintone and brown hair. It pairs nicely with a pink blush like benefit hervana.

I generally HATE blushes. I prefer bronzers because blushes no matter how light tend to look overdone on me. Bronzers also tend to contour my face shape and make it look chiseled (think high cheekbones). Blushes, on the other hand, tend to make my face look red and round, giving it no definition whatsoever. Anyway, I went to my local Macy's with my boyfriend today and was lured by this cute packaging. I had little hopes for this blush due to past experiences but decided to try it anyway. I was amazed at how it brightened my face in such a lovely and natural way. It is the perfect combination of lilac + light pink, and works wonderfully for my NC 25 skin. I was also doubtful of how the stripes of different colors would come out evenly on my skin... but there are no blotchiness!! Most blushes do not come out evenly no matter what brush I use. However, I used the crappy brush that comes with the benefit blushes and it works great! This also looked great with my MAC flamingo lipstick.. Try pairing this with a light pink lipstick. The look complemented my brown eyes and dark brown hair!

Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Denorex Extra Strength 2-in-1

The reviewer below me did an excellent review so I won't go into repeated details but I'll just highlight the things I love about this particular shampoo. I have pretty fine hair that's been through a lot of chemicals over the past years (perms, magic straight, highlights, at-home dyes, etc). I've done some decent amount of trimming but my ends are still dried with visible split ends (I hate having short hair so I refused to cut off all my dead ends). Anyway, my hair tends to feel worse during the winter and feels very dry. I also experience some flakes from dry scalp which is very unpleasant/embarrassing. I asked on the hairboard what I can do to remedy this problem and they recommended Denorex. I went to Wal-Mart and easily found it on the shelf next to head&shoulders and selsun blue (move over, denorex is so much better!) I have tried both h&s and s.blue and ended up disappointed. Today is only my second day of using denorex 2-1 extra strength anf I absolutely love it!!! (The cool things about this shampoo is that it is silicone and sulfate FREE! + there's a built in conditioner hence the name but I still use a separate conditioner after) There is no more static in my hair, my hair is not tangly, nor does it flake or dry!! This is a miracle product. After using this shampoo, I use my tresseme naturals volume conditioner and my hair is shiny, feels healthy, and slippery (in a good way). I purchased a decent sized bottle for 7 dollars at Wal-Mart. I will buy again and again.

Makeup Brushes -Paula Dorf - Eye Shadow Brush

My boyfriend purchased this for me online after researching "best eyeshadow brushes". What a sweetie! Anyway, I never heard of this brand until after he showed it to me.. I was very impressed with the quality of the bristles.. it's made of blue squirrel hair and extremely high quality. Like someone mentioned, it's perfect for the crease/blending/wash of color to the lids. I like it better than any of the MAC eyeshadow brushes I own.. the prices are similar to MAC though

One of my favorite lipsticks from MAC. i love love love this!! it is a light blue based pink with some gold sheen/slight shimmer to it. i would purchase this again

LOVE this! Instant sexiness.. once you apply this on your water line, you'll achieve a sultry, sexy, divine look. This is the best eye kohl I've ever tried. $19 a pop but I got 5 different (full sized) colors in a pack @ macy's for $45.. a good deal! This lasts and lasts, and gives a wonderful smokey eye look. However, this doesn't have a lot of "black" in it.. more gold than black for sure!

Love this! I saw a youtube guru rave about this and purchased it immediately. Only 12 bucks but I got it on sale for 10 (3 for 30) deal. It leaves my skin so smooth and soft. I apply it at night and my skin is still hydrated and soft in the morning. Vitamin E is great for the skin especially for treating acne scars. Try it and see for yourself! Packaging could be prettier though

Foundations -The Body Shop - All-In-One Face Base

Oh I love this! I got the shade in 06 which is their darkest color.. I'm an nc25 with asian/yellow undertones. I find it odd that 06 is their darkest shade in this product as I am not very dark at all.. It makes me question why they don't offer darker shades for women of color. Anyway, back to the topic.. This powder has a velvet like texture, perfect for those with combo skin like me (dry around the face plate but oily on the t zones), it lasts all day and I haven't experienced any breakouts. I bought this on sale for 10 bucks only (3 for 30 deal) and immediately purchased another one through their website for my mother. The packaging is cute but bulky and feels awkward when opening and closing, however it's still cute to look at and practical. I love the body shop..quality products for reasonable prices

Lipstick -MAC - Sheen Supreme Lipstick - Gotta Dash!

I get so much attention when I wear this lipstick, from both women & men! This is very similar to Ever Hip, however Gotta Dash! has a more buttery/pigmented formula which I adore. I'm an NC25 with dark brown hair for reference and have always been on the search a coral-pink lipstick that doesn't pull off too much of an orange or a pink. Ever hip was gorgeous, but discontinued and HTF. I guess MAC understood the deman for EH and put out Gotta Dash! the packaging is very sleek, and way more attractive than the standard packaging for mAC lipsticks.. like mentioned before the formula is pigmented, smooth, and lasts long. I can't mention on the price to this as I B2M for this.. Keep in mind though that not all MAC stores will trade in a sheen supreme lipstick for b2ms.. I had 2 stores say no but my Nordstrom's was accepting b/c they're more lenient.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Let's Skate!

THIS is my favorite paint pot, hands down! It works well with literally any eyeshadow color, gives it a POP, and prevents creasing or fading throughout the day. I like my eyeshadows a bit glittery and this gives me that, and so far I've created endless looks with eyeshadows ranging in many colors. My favorite is to pair this with my Club eyeshadow or a neutral brown. The glitters aren't tacky, chunky, or "in-your-face" which is what I adore about it.

Lip Treatments -Jack Black - Intense Therapy Lip Balm spf 25

I absolutely LOVE this lip balm. I got this in a set with a 2 oz. hand cream I've given to my mother for $12 at Sephora which isn't a bad deal at all. I do admit that the cost of this lip balm is a little higher than most others ($6-$8 a pop) but it's way more effective than some other high-end lip balms (like Fresh's sugar lip balm $22). This feels like butter on the lips, lasts for hours and hours, works great alone or under lipsticks, has an SPF of 25, and has a gel-like consistency that doesn't feel sticky at all. Very comfortable on my lips and helps with the "feathering" on my lips from lipstick applications that I frequently experience due to dryness.
