Treatments -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - 15% BHA Peel

I got this to help with some oiliness and clogs that I got toward the end of the summer. And just wow. My skin is typically normal, oilier in the summer and dryer in the winter. I get an occasional pimple or two around that time of the month. But I noticed some major clogs after using a product I knew I should not have lol so I ordered this. Honestly this stings. The first time I could not even last the full minute. The second and third time I could though. After my third peel I noticed how about 99% of all my clogged pores are gone and my skin is smooth and free of any bumps. Extremely pleased with this! And I never got any peeling or ultra dry skin afterward either so this is a very easy peel to use. I love this and will buy it again!
First BB Cream and I love it. I have used this for about a month now and I love it, use it every day is some way. The color blends with my neutral/cool NW30 skintone perfectly after settling in. I can wear this alone with some powder on top for a natural look, or as a primer under foundation for a fuller coverage look. Works beautifully. Hides pores, evens out my skintone, doesn't make me shiny or greasy. I personally think this is just beneath of medium coverage on me, way more than a TM, but not like a typical foundation. Silky, not cakey, looks like skin. It does not hide any of my hyperpigmentation spots though...that is expected. Concealer is needed for sure. Doesn't break me out, doesn't dry me out...no real complaints except that I won't be able to tell when to reorder because of the packaging. Overall I love it, will buy again, but am going to for sure try out a few others.
Aggravating product but worth it. It took me months to figure out how to use this correctly on my face. Through a bunch of trial and error I realized that I need to get my moisturizer to sink in for a bit, THEN apply but NOT rub in (it will ball up like crazy) and then apply my foundation, etc. I tried this as a mask and didn't see any difference however. As a primer it makes my makeup last, hides pores, tightens my skin and moisturizes as well. I see a definite difference as I look "rested". Scent is heavy, it isn't user friendly at all, it isn't a product you can just slap on and go with - but so worth it if you can get the hang of it. Best primer for pores/lines (IMO) along with the Instant Smooth. Will buy again.
Tried a bunch of samples for the heck of it because now that the weather is changing my skin turns dry. Loved it after Day One. I woke up to skin that was so soft and smooth it shocked me. And even through the day my skin was perfectly hydrated and my foundation looked better all day. I immediately bought a full size. It isn't greasy to me (but like I said I lean dry) and it doesn't break me out (however I am not acne prone). Somewhat expensive at about $35 a jar but worth it to me ~ I have hard water and live near Chicago so winters are tough on my skin. So I will for sure buy again!
Gels/Soaps -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - Brewed Coffee Antioxidant Body Wash
ArizonaAngel 10/15/2012 11:49:00 PM
This sounded like something I would love (antioxidants, coffee scent, etc) but sadly...no. Just no. The scent is of coffee that has been burning for hours on the burner - it isn't pleasant to me at all. And I adore anything with a hint of coffee in it. This body wash doesn't lather much at all (soap lathers more IMO) and this leaves my skin feeling dry and as if it has a film on it. I always moisturize after showering but using this actually made me itch around midday because it dried my skin out so much. Maybe someone who isn't prone to dry skin may fare better with this - but with winter coming this would not do me any favors. I do have hard water so that may make a difference...but I will not buy this again. I hate rating anything a '1' but I couldn't even find a use for this - I had to toss it out.
Such an unusual neutral polish but I like it! Kind of a grayish-champagne-beige color with shimmer. Looks beautiful on my toes. I was looking for a darker color for fall and this is perfect as I still have no clue how to apply super vampy colors without making a huge mess. Two coats is opaque and wears well with a base and top coat. If you are a neutral lover and looking for something different but not too crazy, try this one!
What a beautiful color! A warm, shimmery metallic gold - not orangey, not too yellow. Perfect for any time of year actually. Opaque in one coat. My issue is that because it is metallic is takes forever for me to apply it evenly. And it definitely needs a ridge filler underneath ~ shows each and every lump and bump. I absolutely love the color, not the finish - I wouldn't buy this again.
Beautiful rosy pink shade with gold shimmer. Not barbie pink but not boring either - somewhere in between. It is described as having bright pink duochrome and I kind of see it after two coats but not much. Still a great neutral-cool pink shade for my toes (I currently only like sheers on my tips). I use two coats for full opacity. Polished, pretty and wears very well with a base and top coat. I would buy this again.
This is generally a good cleansing oil for when I wear a BB cream and some powder, but not my favorite for removing mascara or any of my long-wear foundations. I always cleanse afterward with my Clarisonic and this left makeup residue on the brush head. The other ones I have used (Josie Maran, MAC and Boscia) never did that. I am almost done with this bottle so I won't repurchase.

Price is great, shipping is quick and customer service is wonderful - however I used this for three months without any kind of improvement in skin tone. Not much more to say except that I won't buy this again.

Love this! I use this on my cuticles, my heels and feet at night, my knees and elbows, my lips and even my under eye area. Cheap, easy to get and smells great. I find it to have more "slip" then the original. Great multi-purpose item to have, especially with the cold weather coming up in the Chicago area. I will definitely rebuy.
Loved this at first. Made my skin look dewy and amazing. However it broke me out. I rarely break out - usually if I do it it a product or hormonal. At that point it had to be this oil. But I tried it a few more times and again the same results. I ended up using it up on my neck and chest. It's a great oil, but I won't buy again.
I don't love this. I got this instead of my usual mandelic as they were out of stock and I had a coupon for 20% off. It is usually $50. The texture is an extremely sticky gel cream. It never quite sinks in or stops being sticky. With the other brand I use it keeps my skin clear, my pores looking great and any sun spots at bay. My skin just looks great overall. This one is just mediocre. I notice a bit of that but it isn't wowing me. The texture is terrible, I hate the stickiness, the results aren't as good as I had hoped - and it's about $20 more (when this one is full price). The pump is nice however I won't buy this again.
Love this. It's sheer, not extremely so - one good coat is enough for me. My nail lines are still visible (which I like on my tips). This is just glowy. Like my nails are lit within from candlelight. Hard to explain but it just gives a beautiful, golden warmth. Will buy again!
I would have thought something by her would be creative, daring, maybe slightly masculine, definitely different and out of the box - but oh no it isn't. On me this was just ok....but not my style. I didn't want to scrub it off right away, but I certainly didn't have that "wow" feeling. It is a fairly typical, fruity/floralish ~ almost like a generic VS scent. And the staying power is next to nothing. Bottle is adorable, and love the fact that is it black - but this one is a HUGE no for me.
