I have this in "Sun Spot". It is super gorgeous. I love the picture on the container for some reason and I think I will need to buy the other 2 in this bronzer range as well because I love this so much. I am NC25 and in Meow I wear Naughty Manx. I have a lot of golden undertone and this bronzer seems to compliment my complexion really well. I agree with the reviewer below me, this definately reminds me of Brazil and also if you have seen the fererro rocher ad on TV where the gods drop a chocolate down to earth- the godesses in the ad have beautiful gold, glowing, radiant skin...this is exactly what the bronzer does! It acts as an amazing highlight when you use over your bronzer. Must have for summer days!
Concealers -Meow Cosmetics - Purr-fect Cover Concealer

This is a review for the UNDER EYE concealer: I love this concealer because it is so silky and smooth to apply under the sensitive eye are (no tugging)! I have this in Naughty Manx, it runs lighter than the matching foundation but it works well because it helps to brighten the undereye area as well as hiding the discoloration. I believe I love this more than Bare Minerals Well Rested. I would say this is much better because it doesnt have as much light reflecting pigments in there to look like you are actually wearing highlighter under your eyes! Definately a must have in my makeup bag. I sometimes switch it up with Lucy Minerals foundation as well but I like how light and silky this is to apply.
I LOVE Patina! It looks like such a boring bronzey colour but it is a MUST HAVE neutral in any palette! This colour is so versatile, it looks great on any eyecolour and probablly every skintone. Its pretty much a universal shade. I have been wearing this everyday as an all over wash on my lids with soba in the crease an brule to highlight. I then use smut to line my eyes for that sultry, smokey look without being over the top because the patina is light enough but adds just a touch of golden, bronzey goodness to the lids. Highly recommend! NC25 dark brown eyes for ref
I like smut because it is dark without being as harsh as carbon. I usually line my eyes with urban decay's brown pencil liner, apply smut on top (for extra staying power) and to also to give it a less harsh line usually smudging it out. I highly recommend this as a great neutral! It also looks fab with a smokey eye.
So what you need to know about this product is that it does just that- dry your polish! But some added benefits to this are that, it also helps to hyrdate the skin around the nails, it makes the polish job look amazing! I find combing seche vite top coat and this makes polish dry super quick! Go buy it!
I quite like this scrub because it really refreshes the skin. Its a perfect pick me up if your feeling a bit sluggish/tired in the begining of your day! Start your mornings with this scrub 2-3x per week! It might not be suitable to sensitive/sensitised skins beacause it does have a slight tingle/minty feeling to it. It also contains clay which is drawing and detoxifying for the skin, citrus extracts (brightening/toning) for the skin and also a few different types of acids which help boost the exfoliation in the product. I personally like this scrub more than the Dermalogica microfoliant because 1. it smells much nicer (refreshing) 2.its much cheaper and also because my partner loves this too! Great scrub & I recommend over St Ives any day because it also doubles as a mini mask that you can leave on whilst you shave legs etc..HTH
This is a fantastic scrub! It has such an amazing smell to it. This scrub isnt as abrasive or coarse as others i have used it the pass but it does do a great job! It leaves your skin silky silky smooth! Now the trick with this is to do it whilst your body is dry and add some water to your hands to wet the scrub and then massage it all over. Dont do it when you are completely wet as when you do that, you dont feel the action of the scrub and the granules/formula just kinda slips off. Also the great thing about this scrub is that it doesnt leave a greasy oil film on your skin afterwards but it does leave a very nice "moisturised" feel to it. I hate scrubs that leave oily residue so this is why I love this one and you also dont need to apply lotion after it! I highly recommend for gorgeous, baby soft, glowing skin!
This blush really does feel as soft and looks as pretty as a petal. A gorgeous feminine shade that will compliment cooler skin tones. It has a very very slight sheen to make you look like your glowing with health from within and looks amazing if you want just a kiss of colour on the cheeks. Apply with a light hand as this is very pigmented and less is more! I love to wear this on days where im in a rush to do my makeup but i still want to add a bit of colour to my face, i pop this on and it gives a pretty flush to the cheeks. I highly recommend! Soft & velvety, very easy to blend. Love it!
Blush -Unlisted Brand - Lucy Minerals Matte Apricot Blush
Allyxx 1/18/2011 5:36:00 AM
I am IN LOVE with this gorgeous apricot shade! It is the perfect hue for my NC25-30 complexion. It is very pigmented and i only ever apply a tiny bit with my eco tools blush brush to the apples of my cheeks and it gives the most gorgeous pop of life to my face! I think this shade is one of those that goes well with almost all skin tones. Very pretty especially through summer and warmer weather as it tends to warm your skin up, also looks great with a bronzer! The product is silky smooth and blends perfectly and most importantly, it does not shift or oxidize throughout the day. I recommend it to to everyone to get a sample for only $1.00 mine has lasted me a LONG time!
I think this is a very subtle highlighter suitable for fair/light skinned people. When i put it on over the top of my cheekbones..it slightly tones down the blush and only lightly emphasizes the cheekbones. Its great if you dont like a very obvious highlight. I would say its one of those powders that looks the most natural. I like it but it is something that i only wear during the day when i have class or work. But for night, i like something like MAC pearl and hush cream colour bases. Those ones pick up a bit better in photographs. But overall...clear radiance is a great product and I would purchase again if i did run out. Lasts a long time on the skin and only a small amount is required to do the job.
Bronzers -Bare Escentuals - Faux Tan all-over face color
Allyxx 10/7/2010 9:29:00 PM
Faux tan is true BROWN bronzer! No hints of orange at all. It looks like cocoa in the jar with hints of gold and silver reflects which are very very finely milled and hardly detectable when applied to the face. I really have a hard time finding a good bronzer. I had this from years ago and never really touched it until recently. I rediscovered my Faux tan and this is the only bronzer that looks natural on me and blends well with my asian/ yellow toned skin. I like to apply this with an angled brush (mac 168) in the hollows of my cheeks and blended up towards the temples and very lightly across the hairline for a contoured/chiseled look. This blends very well with majority of pink/peach/apricot/coral coloured blushes. It is very heavily pigmented and I would advise to start of with a TINY amount and build up if needed. I have the large 2.8g jar and i can see myself using this until the days where i'll be in a nursing home! It has really great staying power and does not oxidise. It stays the same colour for 8 hrs+! I wore this and had spa treatments done where my body was immersed into a thermal capsule with steam/water and when i came back out...my faux tan was still where i had applied it. I even use this to shade the natural contours of my bust to create an optical illusion that my boobs are bigger! lol I highly recommend!
Flowers is a blush that looks quite clownish and very bright in the pot. But a tiny amount applied just on the apples of the cheek gives off a very pretty pop of colour. I would describe it as rosy/pink flush. Very natural and as some reviewers have said, it would look great on tanned or light skin tones. When i wear flowers it reminds me of spring. Its a very girly tone of pink with a hint of red in it and very very finely milled shimmer but when applied, there is no sign of it, but it jst imparts a natural and healthy glow to your cheeks. Great staying power and lovely pigmentation. I would highly recommend!
Laughter is very nice matte blush so its ideal for those who have bumps/large pores on the cheek area that dont want to emphasize the imperfections but still want a healthy flush of colour. This blush is amazing and brings livelyhood to the complexion. It gives a very natural "just pinched" look. I would say the colour of this is definately a coral but leans more to the peach side. One of those blushes you could wear with a variety of different looks. It has great pigmentation and staying power. Price is a bit steep but well worth it as BE is one of the companys who makes blushes that STAY and dont stray! I apply this at 8am and take it off at 9pm and it is still there on my cheeks after all those hours. Other mineral blushes dont stay quite as long. One of my fav blushes from BE and I highly recommend!
Golden gate is one of those blushes that would compliment a lot of skin tones. It is a really pretty pink/apricot warm kind of blush. It has enough earthy tones to it that makes it blend well with bronzers and gives an effortless flush of colour to the cheeks. Very natural and it also has great pigmentation. It also stays on a LONG time and in my opinion BE is probablly the only mineral makeup company that makes a quality blush that STAYS put and does not oxidise into some strange orangey streaky colour. I am a blush person and own loads n loads of blushes and BE ones are probablly up there with NARS in terms of staying power. I would highly recommend this blush even though the price is a bit steep...you will only use a tiny bit and it will last. It has a very finely milled luminousity to it when applied...but there are NO signs of shimer/glitter. Just a pretty glow which is how your cheeks are meant to look...
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
Allyxx 8/24/2010 6:55:00 AM
I love this powder. It really does help keep my makeup matte for a long period of time. I have combo skin and only my t-zone gets oily, but it gets VERY oily and this product keeps that area nice and matte! Its only a drugstore product but for that, it is of exceptional quality. Bang for your buck
