I would have got better results and more moisture by just spalshing my face with water. Very dissapointing. If you are looking for something to moisturize your face this isn't it. If you are looking for something that doesn't smell overpowering this isn't it. 1 YEAR UPDATE: Retried this and it's as crap as it was the first time. Strong smell. After just 3 days of using this I got 2 huge white pus filled spots under my eye and on my chin like nothing i've ever had before. Instantly stopped using it. The reviewers who said ti did this to them were spot on. It doesn't moisturize. It started to burn the skin on my cheeks. Total utter crap. It nearly messed up the awesome results from using the Clean and Clear orange facial wash that cleared my skin in 2 weeks.

Lotions/ Creams -Nivea - Nivea Soft Moisturizing Creme

What a difference! No longer did my legs and face look like it had spent the weekend at Bobby and Whitney's crack house. Funny thing, I remember my grandma creaming me with Nivea when I was little, but it was the original version, like Vaselines cousin. It was thick as hell. You had to train for 6 months alone on a mountain in the Alps to be able to rub it into your skin and even there there would always be some white streak somewhere you missed and you always left the house greasy looking like your mama made you sleep in a deep fat fryer. THIS Nivea is muy bueno! It doesn't leave you skin taut or dry, just smoooth, soft and beauuuuutiful. No creamy white patches left behind like a ho who forgot to wash off her mouth either ANYWHERE. I'm so very very impressed with it. 3 MONT UPDATE: It didn't cut it. It was a staple but it stopped work any more and started breaking me out. Too bad so few of these lotions and cream can keep up with my skin.

Moisturizers -Kiss My Face - PEACHES & CREME 8% FACE & NECK ALPHA HYDROXY MOISTURIZER

In the store the smell of it was very fruity. Unfortunately that's the only place it smelt good, Unfortuntaley after putting it on a few minutes later the fruity smell turned into an acrid strong stench of what smelt like rotten acid and urine that over took the room. Terrible product.

Powder -Iman - Second To None Luminous Foundation

This product was amazing. It covers excellently, gives you a glow that is so natural. Makes you look flawless. Unfortuntely if you are in hot weather for a while it melts on your face. I dropped the compact 5 times already and the powder didn't break up like MAC Studio Fix. definitely a great product if they would make their other foundations in the same shade without the melting factor.

Powder -MAC - Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
rated 2 of 5

This is for Studio FIx powder/foundation, NOT the liquid. The colors just don't match my skin. They are either too yellow or too orange and no amount of the make up artists trying to blend away at it to make it look realistic did anything. Needless to say it does give an amazing supermodel 'masked' look BUT at the cost of your skin. It made my skin so dry after a month of use that my skin was parched dry and small lines started to develop under my eyes and I wore moisturizer under it. A week after I stopped using it the lines dissapeared and my skins moisture returned. This product is good as a once a month wear but if you need great coverage more often go for something that lets your skin breathe and it will thank you. UPDATE 2009 I bought it again feeling i may have been too hasty judging it. Mac Studio Fix powder/foundation in NC43 - It messed up my skin so much that I started looking like 20 yrs older that I am. Wrinkles started coming under my eyes, my skin looked parched and no cream could stop the dry bits form coming on my face so I had to stop wearing it after just a week. Either that or end up looking like an aging old woman I give it a few stars just because it did have great coverage but at a huge expense to my skin. Saying that though I was not using a brush to apply but used teh sponge which most probably meant I was putting way too much on. UPDATE 2010 I bought this in color NC55 which the make up artist said goes with the liquid NC50 Studio FIx. The brown color of this is so flat it does nothing to 'lift' your face. It has no glolden or red undertones. It's basically just a flat powder. Repeating again that this i sthe most drying powder ever and I really can;t; imagine anyone using it as foundation. I used it for one day and that was enough. I would never buy it again. UPDATE I haven't bought it again but had to come back and mention how crap so many of these MAC make up artists are. DIscovered by accident that they SHOULD have given me C8 in color. For this alone I won't be shopping at that same MAC store.

Stick -Black Opal - True Color Creme Stick Foundation
rated 3 of 5
tempescape 6/19/2007 11:29:00 AM

It goes on matte, has the perfect shades and doesn't melt into grease (I have very dry skin so maybe that helps) and actually gives IMAN and MAC a run for their money for coverage. It's a great product for concealer and the whole face that lasts through all weathers like a pro. Now all they have to do is make their powders in the same colors. UPDATE: Unfortunately it started to wear thin. The daily longevity of it did not supass Imans stick foundation so once it was finished I returned to that instead. I wear truly topaz under my eyes and cheeks and nutmeg on the rest of my face
