A nice shampoo I like the smell. I also liked how easily it spread through my hair, very easy to build up a good lather. It rinsed without any trouble and is an great buy, it cost me under 2 bucks on sale. I am never really too impressed with shampoos, to me they either just wash and rinse clean or I don't like them. I typically look for a quality conditioner, I bought the matching conditioner (another review) which I liked so I will keep buying this shampoo since the scent is the same as the conditioner and it works fine.
I just recently tried out this conditioner with the matching shampoo because it was on sale for 1.79 at my local grocery store. I liked the scent it's like a fruity weird pina colada smell and it was much thicker than I thought it would be. It made my hair surprisingly soft considering how dry and coarse it's been lately. I hope it continues to work this well over time. I took one lippie off because it seemed to make my hair a little more frizzy because it was so much softer than usual. I will repurchase and update later. Update: I am adding another lippy because this conditioner just continues to improve my hair, it has weighed it down a bit which is great for me because I HATE my curls. It's so easy to straighten now the curl pretty much just falls out of my hair. I was actually ok wearing my hair down having not used a straightening iron or blowdryer for the first time in years.
Moisturizers -Biotherm - Aquasource Fluide Hydratant Hydrating Water Gel

The scent was too strong for a facial moisturizer and it burned my face I ended up with big red blotches everywhere. I did like the consistency though and the bottle was cute, the scent would be great for another product since I did like it just not on my acne prone oily face.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Complete Moisture Lip Balm

I love the smell of this product, it's like a light lemon honey smell, it tastes nice too! It doesn't feel too greasy or heavy on and it doesn't make my lips peel like many other lip balms. Don't know if I like it more than Labello yet. I took away 1 lippy because it makes my lips feel a little tingly almost a bit numb when I first apply it, it's not uncomfortable just weird feeling. Update: Not any near as moisturizing as my nivea labello hydrocare, I had to switch back to nivea when my bottom lip split open from being too dry. Despite than I still really like the smell and taste of this and will try again when my lips aren't so dry. Update again - tried to use this and my lips went numb, no idea why but I don't want that happening again. Will not be repurchasing.
This is a nice simple blush, I believe I am using brick rose (there is no colour labeled on the package). The colour looks natural on my super pale skin when most blushes make me look too 'made up' or even streaky. I wish the package was more square, that little rectangle of colour doesn't do it for me and I use a nicer BIGGER blush brush with the product. I will likely repurchase. Edit - tried this out again after using a much nicer quality blushes for a while (quo and Smashbox), it does not blend as well and is more noticeable on my skin than others. Would not repurchase.
Styling Products -Pantene - Restoratives Frizz Control Ultra Smoothing Balm

Ok this product did smooth down some of my frizz but it made my hair so stiff and dry it was awful. I had a hard time putting my hair up after applying this product because it was so thick and sticky. I will not repurchase.
I don't like the smell very much and I haven't noticed anything getting any firmer. So far it doesn't seem to work as well as nivea's Q10 firming cream and doesn't leave my skin as soft either. I'll give it a bit more time and update if there is any change, so far I am regretting straying from nivea which actually was starting to show some real signs of helping with my dimpled legs after weeks and weeks or regular use. Update: The smell has grown on me I actually like it a bit now, it still isn't firming anything and my arms had a bit of a breakout so I stopped using this. I'll probably try it again after my arms clear up.
Treatments -Clean & Clear - Persagel 5% Benzoyl Peroxide

I have been using this product for a few years now and I love it. It really helps keep my skin free of acne and I did have some REAL BAD acne, i still get breakouts if I don't use anything to help control it and this is great. I apply it before bed every night but ONLY to the areas of my face that typically breakout or have a little bumpiness, it keeps my skin so clear that no one ever believes I even had acne (unless they knew me before using this product haha). Too much of this product and applying it all over will cause extreme dryness and itchy skin, I learned that the hard way, but I would never stop using this. I am so glad I found it or I would still be battling a face full a bright red acne. Will repurchase until they stop making it. One more thing: I think this is the 5% version is only available in Canada, I noticed that there is a lot of reviews for the 10% and only one other review for this product and they mentioned shoppers (a Canadian drug store). Edit - Am now off of BP, I heard some not so great things about it and my face was getting very dependent on it. I now use a Green Tea Toner (TBS) and Glycolic Acid (Neostrata) my skin looks beautiful (knock on wood lol). I am not changing my rating because this product does work wonders I just decided that it is so longer for me.
I bought the version of this with the straight "teddy bear" brush in black brown. It was a nice surprise that the brush came out of the tube so clean that I didn't have to wipe the access product off before applying and an even nicer surprise when it went on with no clumping, no lashes sticking together, and gave me pretty good length. I took off that one lippy because like all mascaras it smudged on me, but just a little (to be honest I have watery eyes and nothing ever stays in place). I will repurchase and try the waterproof and possibly the black as well. Edit: Replaced with the slightly better Bare Naturale Mascara. Will no longer repurchase this mascara.
Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Extra Gentle Eye Makeup Remover Pads
sterlingK 4/1/2008 12:56:00 AM
I gave this a 2 only because the pads where really soft and I liked the way they felt (in my hand), it completely removed my eye makeup and the pads were a nice size. I also only gave it a 2 because it burned my eyes and I had to use my regular, though less effective all in one towelettes by Life to wash off the stinging neutrogena. The product I bought just said "eye makeup remover pads" on it, no "extra gentle" so I hope I am posting in the right place. It was in a small round jar with a screw on top, blue neutrogena label, and the pads are not saturated in the remover they just feel only slightly damp. I will not repurchase.
This is not a bad product at all, it improved the look of my skin (right before the breakout haha) and slightly just slightly improved on the creasing around my eyes. I have acne prone skin and it really did make my skin look wonderful before the breakout and I think it would be a wonderful product for someone with dry skin who doesn't get a lot of acne. I still am going to continue using it around my eye area before I apply my foundation because it makes my eye area look so great. I probably won't repurchase.
I own a few of these lipsticks, I really like how smoothly they apply and they are not TOO pigmented for me as my lipstick tends to not last long on me anyway and I would prefer not to have that lipstick ring of colour left around my mouth. I thought the shades recommended in the made for me naturals line was great, I bought both shades Dune and Silk and they look wonderful on. Although I actually think I might have chosen the wrong category for me, I am pale with dark brown hair, either way it worked out. Will continue to purchase.
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Color Riche Star Secret Aishwarya Beige
sterlingK 3/29/2008 9:34:00 PM
This is a nice pinky beige it goes on very smooth and feels great. It was a little more pink on my lips than I had anticipated but it still looks quite natural (which is what I was going for). I find the texture of the star secret lipsticks to be a bit smoother/more slick than the regular color riche lipsticks, which I still love. I will repurchase. Just a quick note for people who thought this was too pink, color riche 852 Silk is almost the same colour just more brown toned than pink. It's part of the made for me naturals line. Edit - This shade is called Linda's (Evangelista) Beige now, but it is the same number (809) and the same colour as before.
I haven't used it before straightening, I just wanted a leave in that would help mend my completely fried, breaking, dried out damaged hair. This product didn't work any miracles but it did help, helped enough that I would buy it again unless I found a better (miracle in a bottle) product. I like the smell and really liked the price and it helps me brush my hair without losing a million the end pieces of hair. I'll buy it again if I can't find a miracle.
Made my lashes very clumpy and spidery, even a lash brush couldn't help me after this product. Too bad i really like their lycra lash and was hoping I would like this one as well.
