This will actually strenghten your nails! I always had weak nails that chip or break before they could grow very long but since I've begun using this stuff my nails are super strong and they are growing better than they ever have before. It's fun to have long nails for once! I pretty much always have this on my nails.. I use it as a base coat under my polish (just give it enough time to fully dry) and on my nails as clear polish (looks really good, doesn't chip). Buy this product if you are looking to strengthen your nails!! It works!!

Polishes -OPI - Significant Other Color

Hmm.. interesting colour, definitely fun to experiment with. Definitely wasn't what I was expecting. Way less pigmented than I thought it would be. It's VERY sheer.. shiny.. shimmery purpley.. the colour slightly changes depending on how the light catches it. At first I was disappointed with this shade but it grew on me once I realized how fun it was to experiment with it and layer it on other polishes when I'm bored.. but I don't like wearing it by itself.. I'm just not too keen on sheer colours unless they're white/light pink. In conclusion, Significant Other is a nice to have but I probably won't repurchase it.

Sheer, very light pink that almost looks like it's not even there when paired with my cool-toned fair skin, but makes me look finished and elegant without even trying. (Which is ideal because I hate having to spend a long time on my nails!) Definitely a keeper. Beautiful. As with all OPI polishes, great consistency with no clumps or streaking, makes for easy application.

Very pretty colour. Not too loud and distracting, more on the subtle elegance side. It is really shimmery, kind of frosty, but highly pigmented as well, not sheer. I have cool-toned fair skin and this shade looks great on me, would most definitely work for a wide range of skintones, though. Okay to wear all year long. Great consistency that makes for easy application.

Polishes -OPI - Senorita Rose-alita

One of my favourite colours from OPI! Senorita Rose-alita is a gorgeous kind of medium pink, not too bold and loud, muted and made more subtle with gold hints. Very feminine and pretty but not little girl pretty at all. Looks on nails exactly as it does in the bottle. As with all OPI nail polishes, great consistency, not clumpy, applies evenly. A definite repurchase!!

I'm a huge fan of OPI nail polishes.. I own far more of OPI polishes than of any other brand. First of all, the colour range is amazing! There are so many gorgeous colours to choose from. Second, I think that the consistency of the polish is really good. It doesn't go on to thick or clumpy and that makes application much easier. Opaque colours are opaque after the second coat; sheer colours aren't streaky. Third, I love the creative names they give each colour. I know, it's silly, but the names are so cute and fun to tell people when they ask what nail polish you're wearing.

Eye Shadow -Clinique - High Impact Eyeshadow in Foxy

I received Foxy in a GWP, loved it, bought it. The packaging for the GWP is the boring green plastic, but it's good for travel/your purse. The packaging for the full-size is very nice, sleek and shiny but scratches easily. The eyeshadow itself is great for daytime wear (I like to update it for evening wear with the use of a smokey black/grey), a nice neutral brown with the tiniest bit of shimmer, complements brown eyes nicely, doesn't crease, and lasts all day.

Mascara -Clinique - Long Pretty Lashes Mascara

I've tried many other expensive department store mascaras but I've always kept coming back to Clinique's Long Pretty Lashes. My favourite thing about it is that the formula isn't really wet, so it doesn't clump and smudge easily, which I can't stand. I don't like volumizing mascaras for this reason.. As for the lengthening qualities of this mascara, I think it does a good job. My lashes aren't naturally very long and this mascara does a great job of lengthening them and holding a curl all day. The trick is to use many, many coats.. this may sound like a hassle but it's not so bad because you can put on coat after coat with NO CLUMPING, so that makes application a lot faster. I've also found this mascara to be easy to remove and non-irritating to my sensitive eyes and it doesn't run when my contacts make my eyes irritated and watery because of dust, etc. Another great point: It is cheaper than other department store mascaras. Give it a try.. just remember to use many coats!!

Eyeliner -Estee Lauder - Eye Defining Pencil

I love these eyeliners because the full sized product has the sponge tip which is amazing for smudging. Very very handy. I use the sponge tip almost everyday, regardless of whether or not I actually use this brand of eyeliner or not. I find the eyeliner to be of good quality, does everything I expect of an eyeliner. Will continue to purchase.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - White Linen

Not a big fan of White Linen. Received a mini bottle in a gift set of several mini fragrances and White Linen is my least favourite of the bunch. It's too strong and "old" for me.. doesn't smell appealing to me at all. Wouldn't recommend to anyone..

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pleasures Intense

While this isn't one of my favourite fragrances, I only have a mini bottle and I only wear it occasionally, I do think Pleasures Intense is a lot better than just plain Pleasures. Pleasures Intense has the same extraordinary lasting power as Pleasures, but isn't as strong and assaulting to the nose. And doesn't give me a headache:) Nice summery sweet floral that I would recommend to some people.

One spray of this in the morning and you'll be in your own little Pleasures bubble all day. The lasting power is truly amazing.. which is great if you really love the scent. I received a mini bottle in a GWP, and at first I liked it. Pleasures is a very strong fresh floral. Lately it has begun to get on my nerves, though. When I wear this, by the end of the day it gives me a brutal headache. This scent just isn't for me, I suppose, but I might recommend it to someone else.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - MagnaScopic Maximum Volume Mascara

This is one of the worst mascaras I have ever tried. (Got a sample with a GWP.. so glad I didn't buy the full size) The formula is really thick.. smudges and clumps super easily.. no curl whatsoever.. made my lashes look like little sticks and no amount of the use of a lash comb could do much good.. Awful stuff. As bad as the cheapest drugstore stuff. Definitely not worth the price. Don't buy this product!!!!

Lip Gloss -Estee Lauder - Plastique Pink Pure Color Lip Vinyl

Received a mini one with a GWP. Love love love the packaging.. but I wasn't too impressed with the product itself. The mini lip brush is awful and I didn't find the colour flattering at all. (I have cool toned skin). It reminded me of Barbie and little girls' costume play makeup. Some good things I can write about it.. well the lasting power is decent and the texture is smooth.
