I was not very impressed. This is basically Milk of Magnesia with thickeners. Stinky thickeners, at that. It would be much cheaper to buy a gigantic bottle of MoM, with nearly identical oil-absorbing results.

This is my absolute favorite BHA product. No frills, no fancy expensive packaging, no fragrance, no alcohol. Just a quality, effective BHA lotion that adds *just* the right amount of moisture to my combo/oily skin. I love the light, almost whipped texture, that leaves a totally matte finish when applied. IMO, it's worth 4x the price!

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

It's too strong for me to use all over my face as a mask, but it is absolutely *perfecto* as an over-night spot treatment! I like the fact that I can gloop it on, it will dry (so it won't get all over my pillowcase!), and in the morning the blemishes will be practically gone! Best spot-treatment I've ever used!! :) And can't beat the price for that huge honkin' tube!!

Cleansers -Purpose - Moisturizing Foaming Cleanser

If you've seen me on the skincare board, you'll notice that I sing the praises of this cleanser ALL the time! :) It is my holy grail, and I don't think I'll ever abandon it for a new one! Like everyone says, it's as simple and gentle as Cetaphil, but is 100% more effective at cleansing! It says it is for normal/dry skin, but it is just perfect for my oily/combo skin. It just balances everything out so well, without leaving any residue. No fragrance, no oil, no soap, and no ingredients that are comedogenic (for me, at least, and I'm acne-prone). I wish they sold this product in bulk, but at under $4 at Walmart (for such a fantastic product), I guess I can't complain!! :)
UPDATE: After one whole year, this is still my HG cleanser! I am never, ever switching! It's so perfect! :D
