The Body Shop powder brush is great! The bristles are so soft and they do not shed at all. I use this to apply my loose powder and my Les Meteorites; the brush applies both products wonderfully. For $25, I do not consider this very expensive at all considering most comparable brushes can be $50+.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Vanilla

Of all my pigments, Vanilla is definitely my favorite. It is so versatile. On my eyes, it creates a shimmery multi-dimentional golden sheen. I also use it on my cheeks and nose when I don't feel like using a cream highlighter (such as NARS multiple). Additionally, I discovered that Vanilla creates the best shimmery lotion, better than anything I have purchased. I just mix a little pigment in my hands with my regular lotion, spread it on my legs and viola, instant beautiful shimmer! Love this stuff!

Palettes -Urban Decay - Shadow Box

I was really excited when I purchased this because I thought it would a) be a great way to try a bunch of UD colors at once and b) the packaging is perfect for your purse/travel. However, I was extremely dissapointed. The colors themselves are lovely, but all of the d@mn glitter needs to go! lol! I tried a couple of different shades once or twice, but no matter what I did I still ended up with massive amounts of glitter all over the place. A few years ago, in college, that would have been fine. But now, no. I work in a conservative environment and glitter just isn't my thing anymore. A light amount of shimmer is periodically okay, glitter is not. Anyhow, to briefly sum this up, there was WAY too much glitter for my liking so this was swapped away.

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Coconut Lime Verbena

This new BBW scent is wonderful! As others have mentioned, Coconut Lime Verbena is the perfect blend of coconut and lime giving you a fesh scent, not too lime-y, not too suntan lotion-y. I love it! Additionally, I think this smells EXACTLY like Banana Republic's beach house candles. I have been purchasing them for years and was always wishing they would integrate that scent into their fragrance line. Now I can stop wishing because BBW took care of it. :-)

Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Cinnamon Buns 3-in-1

Mmmmm, yum yum!!!! :) I received this in a swap and will DEFINITELY be purchasing a large bottle when this one is gone. This smells exactly like a cinnamon bun...heavenly in the morning. :) As others have mentioned, the scent didn't last long on my skin after I got out of the shower. That's fine with me though because I really don't want to walk around smelling like I work at cinnabon. Not that it's a bad scent, it delicious, just not my cup of tea to smell like that all day long. The consistency is very rich and creamy and it lathers very nicely. I have never used this on my hair (and probably won't), but it is outstanding as a shower gel.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lacquer in Acrylicka

Acrylicka is a lovely golden plum, which looks beautiful with my dark hair and eyes and neutral PPP skin. It is very versatile and works great for both day and evening wear. Lip Laquer is goopy looking in the container and on the brush, but goes on very smooth and is not sticky like MAC lipglass. The scent is a very peculiar perfumy scent, but luckily it dissipates quickly and does not leave any foul taste behind. When I use this up I will definitely repurchase - it is such a gorgeous unique color.

Lotions/ Creams -Crabtree & Evelyn - Sonoma Valley Hand Therapy

This is my favorite day time hand cream. (You can find my review for my favorite night cream here). Sonoma Valley hand therapy is a luxurious cream that moisturizes my hands very well, but never leaves them greasy or sticky. I work in a hospital, so not only do I wash my hands a zillion times a day, but the hospital soap is exceptionally harsh. Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapy always softens them right up. Sonoma Valley is a clean green scent with a hint of crisp grapes - not a sweet artificial grape kool-aid scent, but just a fresh, clean, and subtle smell. Love this stuff!!!

This product is wonderful! I run multiple times per week and wear heels almost everyday so my feet are, naturally, a mess. I have been using this 1 week and my rough patches have greatly diminished already. This is the only foot lotion I have used (and I have used a lot) that truely dimishes the dry areas and makes my feet smoother. Personally, I love the scent, but I love minty scents. I will DEFINITELY repurchase!

Candles -Yankee Candles - Lavender and Wild Rosemary

Update April 2004: It's that time of year again and the YC Deck Delights are back. I promtly purchased another package of these tealights and am happy to report that the scent is just as wonderful as last year! :-)
This is my favorite Yankee scent. Lavender & Wild Rosemary is part of the new Deck Delights line and is actually meant to be used outside. Instead of citronella, the candles utilize essential oils and other natural ingredients that are recognized for their insect repellant properties. I, however, burn this scent inside. When burning, you can't really smell the rosemary at all, just a warm inviting lavender fragrance. The lavender smells very real, not artificial at all. It smells exactly like a lavender plant. I have been burning 4 little tea lights at a time (throughout my house) and the smell permeates wonderfully. As always, Yankee's candles produce a wonderful strong scent that fills your house. Will definitely repurchase when I am finished with the current tealights.

Palettes -MAC - Nordstrom Face x8 Palette 2002

I got this at the Nordstrom anniversary sale last year and I love it. You get 2 blushes and 6 eyeshadows, making this palette perfect for carrying in your purse or for travel. All of the colors are very versatile and work well for me. Vanilla is perfect for a wash or highlighting and smut is the best for creating a smokey look. The MAC nordies palettes are wonderful, I already have mine pre-ordered for this year.

For $12.50, this is the best ,makeup accessory I own. This is the perfect way to keep all of your MAC eyeshadows in one location. No more digging around for that color you know you saw somewhere the other day. They are all right there in this awesome slim palette. You can line up the colors by family or mix and match to come up with new color combinations. Additionally, this is the best for travel! No more bulky makeup bags filled with eyeshadow, just take this. Luckily, my city has a MAC store and as soon as I make it over that way I will purchasing another 15-pan.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Tan Ray Paint

I hate to ruin this paint's perfect score, but this color did not work out on me AT ALL (thanks goodness gloss.com accepts returns). On me Tan Ray looked like muddy clay. I think this color was just too warm and golden for my complexion. I did give this a two because I really enjoy the other paints I have, however, the tan ray color just didn't work for me.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Bare Canvas Paint

Update: I am so glad I purchased this. I live in Florida where it is extremelly hot and humid all the time and this keeps my eyeshadow from creasing. It is the only thing that works. I go running after work, and even after running (i.e. sweating like a piggy) my shadow is not creased, thanks to this great product.
This is, hands down, the perfect base. It is the exact same color as Clinique's touchbase in canvas, but obviously has paint consistency, which is better than touchbase, imo. This goes on smooth, stays put, and does not crease in the Florida heat and humidity. It is great for a base, but also looks lovely by itself. Bare Canvas has a tiny hint of shimmer, just enough to not make boring, but not too much (shimmer in everything is not good, imo). This is a very versatile paint and when I use this tube up, I will purchase another.

Candles -Yankee Candles - Island Mango

This is my favorite summertime scent. Island mango is very tropical and fruity, without being too sweet or artifical. The scent permeates quite well throughout my house and the large housewarmer jars last a long time. Will continue to repurcahse.
