It's been awhile since I used these but for the price, I will not repurchase though I felt they performed well. Although, I was in my early to mid twenties when I originally used them so not sure how they'd hold up since I'm 33 with a little more need for them now.

I REALLY wanted to like this product because it came from what I thought was a highly reliable beauty editor's referral. Now, I'm starting to think said BE receives moula for her "suggestions" ..anyhoo, I was sold on purchasing when I read that the "Walnut" shade is hoarded from celebs as light as Thandie Newton and as dark as Nia Long - huge range of skin tones but again - trusted source so I couldn't wait to buy! The first TM was waaaay too oily but I soon realized I purchased the regular brand as opposed to oil-free. No biggie. Easy exchange. I soon realized there's little difference in the "feel" of the two formula's. I have very oily skin but most oil-free products have helped with the exception of this one. I feel like I'm applying a greasy formula to my skin that's way too red.... I have gold undertones but again... Thandie to Nia... so it shouldn't have been a problem right!!. Wrong! I will not repurchase this TM - my sis loves hers so I'll just hand it over... Big dissapointment!

Masks -Dermalogica - anti-bac cooling masque

I swore by Dermalogica's products years ago after reading about the brand's popularity in so many magazines. The entire line is fairly pricey but after suffering from severe acne for the first time ever once I hit 21, I tried pretty much everything before getting professional help! I liked this mask because it really helped to calm my broken out, irriated skin & I guess the "anti-bac" property also helped to ward off new pimples. After years of battling the ugly acne demons, I went off b.c., found a wonderful derm & a gentle simple regimen for acne clear skin today but I may just repurchase this mask since it was a favorite for me.

I used this product a few years ago & willl repurchase because I have very oily, acne prone skin & found this to be perfect for summer. Not heavy, lightweight & no bad reactions.

Gels/Soaps -Carol's Daughter - Almond Cookie Body Cleansing Gel

After Jada Pinkett & Mary J. Blige appeared on the Tyra Show gushing over this scent, my curiosity peaked. I tried Carol's Daughter products years ago & wasn't thrilled so I asked for anything "Almond Cookie" for my b-day to try it out. First, I must say I was sooo dissapointed with the gift card redemption process (you must CALL to redeem - no website orders).... anyhoo, I received the Almond Cookie Tri-Fecta (Shower Gel, Atomizer, Body Lotion) for $50 - pricey! I thought the scent was nice but not fabulous & the atomizer was so small. There were moments that I'd catch a whiff of myself & think "Niceeee" but for the most part nothing great & too expensive. No thanks!
