Moisturizers -Korres - Pomegranate Balancing Moisturizer

I am not really pleased with this moisturizer. First of all, it is not really balancing, as it claims to be! I have a very oily T-Zone and normal cheeks. If I use it the same way (amount-wise) that I use my other moisturizers, I get super shiny within two hours and have to use my blotting tissues more frequently ( other moisturizers leave me at least four hours shine-free). Even if I use a really tiny amount (3-4 dots), my face looks oilier than usual. I guess its moisturizing properties are OK, but with this kind of skin that is not a strong requirement. As for the SPF, it is a nice addition, but it does not provide adequate protection during summer monhts, at least not where I live (Greece). I will finish this jar and will not repurchase.

Polishes -OPI - Bubble Bath

I do not understand why this nail polish is such a cult favorite! The colour is so basic that can be found in any cosmetics line. The quality is really poor,as it is extremely streaky!!! It took me three coats to get an (almost) even application! I generally like OPI, but this was a dissapointment for me.

Lip Gloss -Estee Lauder - High Gloss - Berry

This is a nice gloss, but nothing special IMO. The colour is much sheerer than it appears in the tube and gives a shiny pinkish shade on the lips when worn alone, as it is not very pigmented. You need to wear it on top of a light pink lipstick in order to get a more compact result. The texture is not sticky and the smell is the typical EL smell which I find appealing. Its lasting power is average. To put it in a nutshell, it is not special enough to deserve a repurchase.

Polishes -OPI - Monsooner or later

For me this is much more red than orange-I would rather describe it as red-coral. It is definitely a vivid summer red and looks really good against my fair, warm-toned complexion. Once again, the OPI wide brush makes application easy and two coats are essential for a rich colour.

I really like this colour: it is a vivid fuscia pink/mauve that does not clash with my fair, warm-toned skin. The OPI brush is ideal for an easy application and you need two coats to get a rich colour.

Mascara -Estee Lauder - Projectionist High Definition Volume Mascara

I got the mini version of this mascara as a GWP and I have used it randomly for the last month or so. It is a good everyday mascara but nothing spectacular. It does defines lashes and gives them some colour and a little bit of volume. But I thinks it tends to fade by the end of the day, so it is not a really long staying formula. Overall, I do not think I would purchase the full size as I do not find it superior to to other cheaper brands, like Max Factor.

Polishes -OPI - Lunch at the Delhi

I love this colour!!! It is the perfect coral on me. If you apply two coats, the colour is more vivid on your nails than it appears in the bottle. The texture is very creamy ( even one coat would be OK) and the big brush makes application easy and foolproof, which is essential when applying strong colours. Best buy of this season!

Lipstick -NARS - Barbarella

I think this is one of the most dissapointing products that I have tried. I initially bought Napoli but I had to take it back because of the awful smell and the fact that it was too drying. The SA suggested Barbarella as the closest shade, although I think it has much cooler tones. When I tried it on, I was surprised at how sheer it was!!! My lips are not pigmented but there was hardly any colour!!! The drying effect was still there-I had to use a lipgloss on top to make it look decent! Considering how expensive it is, I think it is so not worthy! I might try another formula, but I think that I better stick with Nars blushes ( which are great!)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Juxt eyeshadow

This is a great eyeshadow. The colour is a sweet light green that looks great with hazel eyes and the texture is really satiny. I usually pair it with sumptuous olive but I think there are wide options available ( especially for summertime).

Moisturizers -Clinique - Continuous Rescue Antioxidant Moisturizer- Combination Oily to Oily [DISCONTINUED]

I got a mini version of this as a GWP ( oily to combination oily type) and I have been using it for abour two weeks as a night cream. I have found the smell to be almost medicinal and very disturbing ( this is the first time that the smell of a product puts me off). The moisturing effect is not bad for my skin type but I suspect that there is an ingredience that does not quite agree with my sensitive skin and I have developed some minor red spots that I think are due to that. I will just use up this sample and not purchase the full size.

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint - Bountiful Brown

This eyeliner has a nice( but not so unique) brown/bronzey colour that is perfect for a minimalistic summer look. It does not look harsh on fair skin and it is ideal for daytime. Its lasting capacity is impressive: I put it on in the morning and it even survived my afternoon gym class!!!However, it needs to be sharpened a little too often and if you wear it over a Mac paint pot eyeshadow, it tends to smudge a little.

There is nothing left to be said about this wonderful product. All the fair/light skinned girls should try it.It is expensive but the quality and colour is great( I do not see any tacky glitter, as other reviewers mentioned) and the packaging is excellent.

Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder in True Romantic

This is a very pretty and sweet colour: muted pink with purple undertones. Although I lean more towards the warm side, it suits me fine. The texture of this blush is great( not too matte nor too frosty)! Being a fair-skinned girl I have to apply it with a light hand but the end result is a very healthy flush on my cheeks. It is almost ideal for an everyday look, especially if you wear neutrals/pinks/purples.

This is one of my favorite lipsticks! The formula is great ( moisturising and long-lasting) and the colour is gorgeous: intense pink with a hint of coral! It is ideal for everyday use especially in springtime for fair girls like me who do not look good in nude lip colours but are not too willing to wear red lipstick during daytime either!

EL Signature lipsticks have the best formula I have found so far! They are moisturising and creamy( not too creamy like Mac's amplified cream formula) and long lasting ( there is a hint of colour on your lips even after drinking or eating). This particular colour is a nice medium neutral pink-perfect for everyday. The golden packaging is also very classy! I also have tender rose which I love and I plan to purchase more shades!
