I've been using Maybelline Mineral Power fdn for past several months and just ran out of it. So I decided to give this a go Price: ~$18 Pkg: really bulky and the brush is POS Coverage: medium to full Finish: dry matte Colour: Natural Beige 464 is a neutral beige w/yellow undertone Texture: creamy I barely dip Ecotools kabuki brush in it then swirl it on. Unlike MP this stays matte for 6+hours, even on a hot summer day. If this survives 4h at work(coffee shop) this may be The One *UPDATE* I put this over MUFE HD primer (neautral I think, I got the mini tube one) and it stayed relatively matte for 4h. It slightly glowy after 3h mark but nothing greasy and gross. HG fdn at last!

Bought it cuz I was running out of Maybelline mineral power and the tiny drugstore didn't have it. At first I liked it cuz it controlled oil well. But it irritated my skin especially when I washed my face. Coverage is too sheer for my liking. "Sheer to medium coversage" my ass....

After all the rave reviews here I was expecting the results to outdo my current fave Maybelline Colossal. However it didn't do that. Price: same as MC, $7.57 CDN Pkg: I like the rubber bristles as they are cleaner in application Length: not much Volume: fluttery&lush, slightly more than MC Overall this isn't any better than LashBlast except in length department. It's labelled as a volumizing mascara and that's all it does

I am fast becoming a NYX mania! Nuff said Price: $12.31 Colour: a perfect mix of mauve&rosy pink Texture: ultra smooth I love how 1 layer gives u a sheer wash of mauve while a couple layers give u solid mauvey rosy pink. And best of all it is completely&gorgeously MATTE! I've never found other d/s matte blushes and here it is! It's very pigmented so I tap my EcoTools brush on it then blend it out. Probs best for fair-medium to dark skin

First of all, "bronzer" blush, my ass. This performs better than most of what they label kabuki brush. The bristles are super soft and don't shed, unlike Spa Resources. I use it to apply Maybelline Mineral Power powder fdn. It deposits colour evenly and smoothly. I like how this doesn't ppick up too much powder. This is basically an excellent kabuki w/rather long handle :)

This palette caught my eye in my local Save-On Price: $16.79 CAD Pkg: full-sized mirror on lid Colours: Top Row (Shimmer)- icy silver, light cool beige, coppery beige, pale taupey brown, rose gold Bottom Row (matte)- warm beige, ivory, smokey brown, medium warm grey, charcoal black Pigmentation: medium to full Texture: super creamy I love the ivory shade as highlighter and as base for super dramatic smokey eye. I use the black on my outer V pretty much everyday. If u are already a NYX fan, try this palette! I guarantee that u will love it

Treatments -Clean & Clear - Persagel 5% Benzoyl Peroxide

I've battled w/cystic&persistent acne since grade 7 or 8. I've tried a lot of over-the-counter topical creams/gels. Most worked but in about a week or so. This one works practically overnite. I just pop a zit, put this on and in the morning its size is halved. In a couple days, it's almost gone. I don't like how it seriously dries out my skin tho. Other than that, it's great

Eye Primer -NYX - Eyeshadow Base in White

I've been using UDPP for a while now. While I like how it prevents make e/s from creasing and makes them brighter, it feels sticky. It's always been a turn-off for me. So I read the reviews and got this one, seeing that this was rated higher than Pearl White. It creases so I have to put it on(w/a dense brush) right before I put on my e/s. I have UPM 'Oro' and it's true glod with the base underneath. A keeper :)

I usually use eye mu remover and just wash fdn off w/water&cleanse. But Mineral Power is quite heavy and so is Dream Mousse. I was looking. For Neutrogena ones but this was chaper so I got these. The cloth is really soft and doesn't tug at my lashes. And pretty cheap at $7.25 CDN too! There's only 25 but I only use 1/4 per day so it should last me more than 3mos

I'd really like to try MAC Pigment but the nearest MAC store is 30min away. So I Googled dupe for Melon&NYX UPM Oro was the popular vote. And I LOVE it! Price: $5.59 Colour: copper-gold Finish: high pearl and reflective Pigmentation: full Texture: very soft&creamy The finish is almost like how mirrors reflect light! Only thing I don't like is the miniscule jar opening so I dumped it in empty eye cream jar . It stays on for the day even w/o my UPDD (btw I have very oily eyelids). Rec 200% Plus u can ue it as hair highlight colour when mixed w/water! It looks lite golden blonde on my medium golden brown hair :D Looks great as a cheek highlighter too

I have dark brown eyes so I need a bright colours on lower lash line to accentuate them. Price: $6.70 CDN Pkg: twist-up w/sharpener&smudger on bottom Colour: Precious Gold 290 is a shimmery coppery gold Deep Ocean 230 is a standard navy I have super oily skin (esp T-zone) and watery eyes. Got it around $6 CDN. Curls my medium length, medium thick lashes decently. For some reason, my right lashes curl better and the left ones. Will repurchase unless I find better ones.

I think EcoTools has the best brushes d/s has to offer. I got this like 2 years ago and it's still good. I haven't had problems with shedding (like Spa Resources). It's very soft, like u barely-feel-it soft. It deposits colours lightly but I can build up Dream Mousse blush pretty well with this. Will buy e/s and kabuki looking brushes too

I was sceptical about the whole "marbleized" colour and still am... Just a little. Price: $11.19 CAD Coverage: Bronze Blowout (dry) sheer-light | (wet) very intense Texture: creamy even dry and almost mousse-like feel when dry Colour: light bronzy gold&smokey dark bronze Finish: high-pearl w/lots of sparkle U get whole lotta flakes whether u apply dry/wet. Just don't put on foundation&until ur done ur eyes ;) Doesn't crease on my very oily eyelids w/primer but also doesn't have the greatest staying power when dry. I def recommend that u use this w/mixing medium
