I don't know but this is the best volumizing shampoo I've tried so far. It's hard to find though
Mascara -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Mascara (Black Brown)

I pretty much like this mascara. That's as good as I can praise it. Mascara is one of those things that every woman continues searching for a better one throughout her life. We all want long, lush, dark, curled, seductive eyelashes. But it has to leave everyone fooled were born them (excuse the slogan ref.) and didn't spend 30 min. obsessing over the position of each lash. Perfect mascara is a concept that, if discovered, could mean looking much closer to our ideal overall appearance. ok sorry, blahblahblah. BACK to the product discussion at hand. This mascara does a pretty good job of 1) lengthening 2) being pretty much clump-free if applied correctly and 3) looking natural.. But I think the performance of the mascara is mainly in the brush. You could spend 40 on a mascara and not get a better brush. The formula however could be better. It's very dry actually, typical to L'oreal mascara, and you have to apply it quickly otherwise it will start to go clumpy. But I think it lives up to a product worthy to be called Bare Naturale, thus I give it 4 lippies.
Treatments -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Gel
missymarissa 2/28/2009 2:15:00 AM
so far i've used this for 2 days and like others was skeptical at first, but i'm very impressed! it definitly has reduced the size and redness of my pimples. I wake up and they look alot better. a person could spend a lot more on an acne fading treatment. got it for 10$ at walgreens. its a pretty good size tube and should last me for a while. good old neutrogena <3
This didn't give me the satisfaction I wanted for the money I spent. I actually used this device a while ago and had similar results to some reviewers on here. Some zits it helped (but took 2, 3 days) and some it agrravated and made bigger, redder, and sorer. For $80 its too much of a hassel to figure which ones it will make worse and help. It's much wiser to save your money to have laser treatments to clear existing acne and then get on some kind of medication that will adress your acne problem internally. I went on Accutane. Expensive, but oh is it ever worth it if you have moderate to severe acne.
Did NOTHING for my rosacea after using it for 3 weeks. Coincidentily, I started having an increasing problem with breakouts when I started using it though I'm not sure this creme was the cause. TINY bottle, wasn't crazy about the vanilla smell -yea it has fragrance. Didn't feel too greasy but didn't feel light either and had a slightly waxy feel. I feel ver ripped off.

Toners -Neutrogena - Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner
missymarissa 2/20/2009 8:31:00 PM
I love all the other stress control products except this one. It isn't pH balanced and over drys your skin there for causing more oil production. After using this my face, especially forehead and face, feel stripped of natural moisture but look shiny.. its wierd. Then throughout the day after Ive moisturized and put makeup on my face gets more oily than normal. Wouldn't recommend.
Skincare - Face -Rachel Perry - Lemon Mint Astringent

only reason i wouldn't buy this toner again is because i'm sure theres probably a better one out there that I'm still searching for... I don't know that it really does anything accept smell great and refresh skin a little. And its deosn't aggravate my sensitive skin either -more soothing than Alba Hibiscus toner, though that ones not too irritating either. Do not like container though, can't control how much comes out of the cap.. I had hopes I would love this toner because it had so many great ingredients in it but honestly i feel like its just good smelling water..
Best pore clearing mask EVER. Sooo cheap its ridiculous. But don't get hung up on that because it actually really works. Ingredient list is very low which means it mostly has the ingredients that matter -bentonite, kaolin, and sulfur. I LOVE this mask so much. I just feel like I'm pampering myself when i use this for some reason, lol. Also what's really cool is you can see your oily pores when the mask drys. If you use this, you know what I mean. It's the only one I've ever used that does that. This mask really is amazing for oil control and brightening skin. AMAZING. Just buy it, it's around 3.99 usually :)
:-( :-( I wanted to keep this because it's the BEST product to make your skin glow without looking like a las vegas show girl. Mixes wonderfully with my MAC Select Foundation. BUT... It did indeed break me out. Why do they have to add algae extract?!?!!! After a week of using this I started getting big cystic pimples that I haven't had since before going on accutane. So unfortunetly this is going back to the MAC counter. For people who do not have an acne problem would recommend this 100% though.
Toners -Alba Botanica - Hawaiian Hibiscus Facial Toner

I was pretty skeptical about this product because it just seemed like the ingredients were hype ..plant and flower water and such but I when flipped the cap open and smelled it in the store I was instantly thirsty for lemonade! Its scent is so yummy and fresh but not perfumy or chemically at all. Its ingredients are basically in my opinion are 100% natural. There is no 'fragrance' just fruit bergamont oil. So I bought it and.. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and ya know I really think it makes my complexion look more fresh and radiant. Deosn't brake me out at all, burn, or dry me out. In fact I really do beleive it has the ability to balance out your skin. Great for combination skin.
Primer/ Corrector -Revlon - Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer

This did worse than nothing for me. It made my face oily, gave me a nasty little break out after using it for a week, and worst of all the smell is intolerable. It's like a rancid old lady purfum mixed with this chemical smell. Usually I don't have this strong of a dislike for a product but this one is really bad.
All I know is these are the only thing that work for me. I am addicted to using these. I can't stand the feeling of having blocked, dirty pores especially on my nose. When I use these strips they stick to the crud in your pores and pull it out. What I do to ensure that the strips are the most effective is wash my nose with a deep cleansing face wash (like clean and clear acne wash) with super hot water to open up the pores. (Sometimes I even do a hot compress with a wash cloth or face steam). Then you leave your nose wet, dry your hands, take the strip out of the foil and carefully position the center of strip on your nose first then smooth the strip outwards, pressing and smoothing the strip to adhere to your nose. I even crease the strip in the corners of my nose. I agree with person who says don't talk. For 15 minutes leave it on without moving your face. When its totally dry slowly peel strip off starting at corners working your towards center of your nose. If you follow these steps correctly you will see the crud on the strip if you hold it up to the light. I can't live without these!
