Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain Minis

I love these cheek stains! Easy to apply, very long-lasting, does not have a negative impact on my breakout-prone skin. They literally last all day...looking as good at 10 p.m. as they did first thing in the morning. I have never had a blush last so long. The perfect blush, a glow from within. Completely natural looking. I am fair with brown eyes and blond hair, and Dollface (pink) and Flush (peachy-pink) are wonderful, but I also enjoy Blushing Bride. It looks very dark in the container, and does need a little light touch for me, but it is still a beautiful color. It is definitely the Holy Grail blush for me!

Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Blushing Bride

I completely love the Tarte cheek stains! I am a fair blonde with brown eyes, NC20-25, and am thrilled with the results from Blushing Bride, Flush and Dollface. Blushing Bride needs a little lighter touch with my fair skin, but Dollface (pink) and Flush (peachy-pink) genuinely give me a completely natural blush. I saw one review that stated that they give a look of glowing from within, and I agree. Generous portion, lasts forever. A H/G product for me! (And many thanks to Ebay, where I got them for half-price, hurrah!)

Lip Gloss -MAC - Plum Parfait -Petit Gloss

While the shade is pretty, and I like the consistency (it's essentially a lipglass-type texture, perhaps a little less sticky? Hmm.), I would not purchase again. The amount of product one receives for the money is not a happy experience. I could easily use this up in less than two weeks. I do like the nice light mauve color, but can find it in another product and not feel cheated.

Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Born Lippy Lip Balm

While I completely love the scents and the colors of these glosses (I purchased the plum and strawberry), they have absolutely no staying power. The scent is fun...you continue to perceive it while the balm lasts, which is perhaps half an hour for me. I'm so disappointed in its limited lasting power, that I will not repurchase it.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Shine Supreme

I LOVE this product. In fact, I went up to their site and ordered 20 tubes, just in case it's ever discontinued. This is the longest-lasting gloss I have ever used, and very gentle on my lips. It is true that it is not a glossy shine, but more of a pearl. It lasts 4 to 5 hours on me, and in fact, if I go to bed with it on, it's still there in the morning. I do this because it is the most moisturizing gloss I've found. I have super-sensitive lips, can't tolerate SPF, etc, so in the winter, these helped me to completely avoid chapping. My only complaint is that there really aren't any mid-tone colors. They are either highly pigmented or barely pigmented, except one called Lilac. The Sugar is a light pearl peachy pink, and the Lilac is a nice rosy pink. The Twig is a completely neutral pearl beige. Rose is the next lightest, and all the rest (I tried every color via samples on Ebay) are intense colors, and for my light coloring, impossible. They mix well, however, and can be neutralized with Twig or Sugar. But Lilac is perfect for me (NC25, brown eyed blonde), a perfect cool rose. If you are thinking about trying them, look up on Ebay for samples or call an Avon lady.
