I tried this fragrance on for the third time today and I've come to the conclusion that it's warm and sexy, yet very classy. It's not really striking and impressive, but I find it very elegant, and for that I would definitely buy.
Why do I keep buying frosty lip shades when I know they are not my best bet? Why do I not learn from past makeup mistakes? Anyway since I'm on the fair side of the spectrum, I find that baby pink shades, though pretty in the container, often translate into washed out lips when I put them on. This here is a very light shimmery pink shade that looks angelic in the tube. Compared to other very light pinks, it's not so bad on my lips. Because the actual gloss is so silky and shiny, the light shade doesn't make me look sick, however it doesn't really accentuate my lips the best possible way either. I think it might look fantastic on a darker person though. To sum things up, this shade is pretty itself but not the best for me (so it's actually my fault that it doesn't work ideally). However the gloss itself is very good so I will use this up and invest in a slghtly darker shade next time. I stated I wouldn't buy again but I'm referring to the shade; I do plan to rebuy the gloss (and I've reviewed it in its general section).
I just got this one in "Rose Idyllic". I'm not going to discuss the shade here because it's reviewed in another section, so I'll just stick to the actual gloss, which I find very satisfactory. The consistency to me is perfect; not oily, not sticky, not goopy, not watery; just smooth and silky. It makes my lips look their best: full, shiny and luscious. Furthermore I put it on four hours ago, went out shoppping, came back, had some candy and, surprisingly, it's still more or less there.I don't think it would survive a meal, but I don't know any gloss that does. The tube is girly and glamorous. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that little brush applicator which I find a little too small, plus I kind of dislike the floral smell. It's also not the cheapest gloss available, but to me it's so worth it. To sum things up, this is a good, non sticky, silky gloss that has some lasting power and makes lips look gorgeous. The color selection is very tempting so I plan to invest in more shades.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray

I've bought this several times in the past but I don't think I would buy again. It actually does what it promises, which is soothe tired feet, and feels really nice and refreshing. However it camouflages odour with its strong peppermint scent rather than diminishing it, plus it's quite expensive to me: I find € 7,50 a bit too much for a spray that feels cooling and smells nice, but doesn't help with sweat or deodorize feet properly. I'd rather spend € 3,50 for my usual foot deodorant which smells good, feels incredibly cool, keeps feet from sweating a lot AND diminishes and prevents odour all at the same time.
Lip Gloss -The Body Shop - Vanilla Spice Shimmer Lip Balm

I got this as a Christmas present along with the matching body butter (which is awesome). It's not bad, it's quite pleasant to use actually, but I'm not crazy about it either. It smells like cinnamon cookies, which I adore. It has a pretty champagne colour in the pot, however on the lips it looks clear, with very subtle shimmer. It goes on smooth and is not sticky, plus makes lips look full and shiny. However it doesn't offer much as far as moisturizing is concerned, so people who say it's a simple, basic gloss rather than a balm are absolutely right in my opinion. It also needs to be reapplied frequently, but that is something you would expect from a balm or a simple gloss. The pot is not the most hygienic form of packaging, but it's easy to use on the go, provided you have no problem applying with your fingers. All in all this is a cute little thing that feels nice on the lips and is good to have in your bag. Also not very expensive for the amount you get (though not very cheap either). However I don't think I'd bother purchasing this myself, although I probably won't need to because there's plenty of it in the pot to last me for ages even if I use it all the time.
Lotions/ Creams -Thierry Mugler - Angel Body Cream

Would I buy this product again? Well I'd buy one each month if I had the money for that. Divine is not enough to describe it. I adore Angel, but this is even better than the EDP - if that is ever possible. It's the perfect body moisturizer: has a rich, fluffy texture, literally melts into the skin and makes it soft as silk, feels refreshing, no sign of greasiness whatsoever; compared to my usual everyday body moisturizers this is from another world. The scent is that of the EDP, but softer, without the initial sharpness of the perfume (which is my fav but is admittedly aggressive when first sprayed). Boyfriends also love it - and what is not to love? To sum things up, this is THE solution if you do like Angel, but find it a bit too strong or are afraid it will offend people around you. The scent lasts as long as that of the EDP if not longer, anyway. It is really not easy on that wallet, but IMHO you get your money's worth; not a cent gets wasted. Feels so luxurious I cherished every drop of mine when I had it - oh well.
I find this perfume very confusing. I love both Ms Moss and roses, but this one, well, I'm not sure. To explain things, when I first spray it on, it smells atrocious; I hear people say that frags smell like body odour, and I didn't know the feeling until I first tried this on. Seriously, I was convinced that the sample in the store had gone bad. But then I tried it again and again and it's always the same. However when it dries down, it completely transforms itself into a warm, musky scent that makes me feel extremely feminine. My bf agrees on that and loves it. I've used samples of this but I'm not sure if I'd purchase. However the price is reasonable and the packaging is cute so I think I might.
I've come across samples of this in the past, which I gladly used, but I would never buy this fragrance myself. It's a very clean, safe, fruity scent that is unlikely to offend anyone or keep people away from the person wearing it. However to me this has to be one of the blandest scents I have ever smelled. IMHO it lacks character to the point that I never recognise it on anyone, but when I come across a person who I know is wearing it, I get the impression I've smelled it on ten other people the very same day. Therefore I'm not a fan.
I smelled this in a magazine ad and found it divine. I then tested it at a store and I still found it nice, subtle, feminine and clean, but on me it screamed peach. I don't know why, but on my skin the peach note kind of popped out, and I'm not crazy about that. However since the frag is innofensive and very reasonably priced, I would gladly get some for spring and use it as a casual morning scent.
Fragrances -Lolita Lempicka - Forbidden Flower/Fleur Defendue

I came across a sample of this EDP. I could only bring myself to use half of it and gave the rest to my mother because I somehow found it impossible to use up. Bottom line, I sadly detested this so much I wouldn't even use it for free, let alone buy it. This probably gives the impression that I find the perfume disgustingly pungent, however this is not the case at all. To me this is a rather bland, uninteresting floral scent, BUT it is so strong, cloying and offensive that it caused me a headache five minutes after I sprayed it on (and to think that a couple of my fav fragrances are anything but subtle). I gave it a second chance but I still didn't enjoy it. Well you get the picture.
I tend to like scents that fall into the sweet category, while I'm not crazy for floral ones. This scent here is definitely very sweet and feminine, but to me it smells so floral it gets cloying, plus I don't really find anything memorable about it, though most people seem to find it unique. That was quite a surprise to me because I adore L, however this one is very different. All in all not my favourite. Oh, forgot to mention that the bottle is adorable.

To me, this fragrance falls into the "femme-fatale/seduction-potion" category. It's sweet and warm yet dark and mysterious. I smell vanilla, chocolate, smoke and ocean, if that makes any sense (probably not:-D). It's a beautiful, totally unique creation. It's comparable to Angel - because of its uniqueness- but very different from it. As for the bottle, it's a true work of art. I've only used samples of this fragrance in the past, but it's definitely on my wishlist.
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Palmolive Naturals Creme bath in Milk & Honey
danai 12/28/2008 4:31:00 PM
I'm currently using the Palmolive Milk & Honey Shower Cream and I find it awesome. The scent is delicious and relaxing; the cream gives nice, rich lather and it doesn't dry out the skin at all. I'd definitely buy again and I wish it came in a bigger bottle.
*UPDATE* My SO finally got this for me and it's even better than I noticed while sampling it. It's actually one of the few straight up fruity florals I really enjoy (I'm more into sweet gourmands). It's sweet, yummy and still smells clean and light. I'd get this again and again and recommend this to anyone. I tried this a couple of times while walking around in shops, browsing for Christmas presents and other stuff, and I liked it; it's a light, feminine, slightly sweet scent. I can somehow smell sweet tangerine in this. Not an extremely sexy, femme-fatale scent to me, rather a casual, playful, flirty one. I find it adorable and would gladly buy it. I think it can be worn all day long, all year long.
I tested this fragrance recently and to me it smells exactly like some flower; unfortunately, hard as I try, I can't remember which one. Seriously, I get no other notes of any kind, just that, plain and simple. Also I find it way too strong and overpowering. When I sprayed it on, it was atrocious, I tried to wipe it off to no avail. When it dried down, the smell became softer, more feminine and less offensive. However I wouldn't buy it. The male version (which I heard has been discontinued) is amazing though.
