This product worked no better or worse then every other product I have tried for reducing oil. I even used it with the whole Clinique 3 step system for oily skin and it didn't help. however, i liked the way that this product when on..it was very soft and velvety and I like my face like at so i can put my makeup on right. the more oil is on my face the less my powder wants to go on right. An hour later ofcourse i was ready to totally soak a blotter sheet but i would buy this again so my makeup stays looking fresher longer. If you have oily skin that is not sensitive, i recommend seeing a Derm. and getting Clinac BPO, that is the only thing that i have found that somewhat control oil, but my face gets red and burns and peels when I use it because I'm so sensitive. oh well. *update* After being unable to find the Sally Hansen Zero Shine mattifier anymore (sucked for oil control but for some reason i liked the way my makeup went on over it) so I decided to give this another shot because it's been so long. I think they changed the product a tad, skin still feels velvety but i remember the old stuff being a little more like dryer. BUT, I've used this for the past few days and my face doesn't seem red when I put it on, but when I try to put my makeup on like right around my cheeks the powder foundation i use (covergirl blue compact) doesn't wanna stick to it. I had pimples on my cheeks that are finally healing so that might be why but I will prolly just continue using this because there's nothing else.*update* My makeup just does not like this. My powder foundation goes on cakey and uneven and i look horribly red. oh well :(

I didn't even bother buying this product.. i tested it in the store and it was just gross. I don't know what they were thinking. As far as I am concerned, things aren't met to be put over your makeup cuz it will just make it look like your piling stuff on. oil absorbing sheets do wonders, and i will still to alternated between them and more of the powder i wear. $26 is stupid i'm glad I didn't bother buying this because I knew it looked too good to be true.

Powder -Cover Girl - Fresh complexion oil control makeup (powder foundation)

I have been using this powder for about 2 years now and I would prolly die if they stopped selling it. My face is far too oily yet peely (ironic isnt it?) and my pores are way to big for foundation. If I apply ANY foundation, it gets caught in the peeling skin on my face and makes it so noticeable and i get dots where the foundation sinks in to my pores..so this stuff covers just as good as a foundation but as for helping with the oil, forget it. If the oil is left on the skin, the powder gets dark but if you blot at the first sign of oil, some of the time with blotter paper and some of the time with more powder, it seems to hold up. i blot every hour and my face holds up for about 6-8 hours b4 it starts looking caked up. I recommend this product to people who can't or choose not to wear foundation but want pretty good overall coverage. i have very red unever skin with huge pores and this helps to fake the appearance of a nice face although every hour i'm running for the blotter sheets. Update: So I've finally found a foundation that works for me and my huge pores (revlon colorstay) so that paired with this product really works wonders and provides lots of coverage. I've been using this powder for probably like 4 years now! I tried applying this with brushes because lots of people have said it makes all the difference- but I always go back to the cheap little sponge- it's just a great product!

This product does a horrible job of controling oil BUT, I liked the way that my makeup went on after it (powder). it made my face VERY matte so my powder didn't clump up or nething. Even after blotting every hour, this stuff helping my makeup looking fresher and in place. When I don't use it things tend to smear when powder and oil mix. FOr $5 I'd buy it again just to put over another oil control product that doesn't give such a matte finish.

This product is yet another product that just DIDN'T WORK FOR ME. I tried Clinac BPO which worked for about 2 hours but that made my face burn and was all red and peely so i decided to order this after reading many good reviews. First, this is discusting to put on. When I put it on, I don't even feel matte. and an hour later, i'm ready to soack a whole oil sheet. Nothing has worked and I guess nothing ever will except accutane. If this worked for you, consider yourself lucky because some of us out there are still searching spending loads of money.

Skincare - Face -DERMAdoctor - Tease Zone

*sigh* This product got very good reviews on pretty much every site I have been on so I thought that this would be the one. Boy, was I wrong. This product went on feeling greasy and I prefer more of a matte finish to get my makeup on better. But, I dealt with it, put on my makeup and went out...an hour later, there was the oil. This product did not do a darn thing, and for $35 it worked just as good as Sally Hansen Zero Shine Mattifier which is $5, but actually I liked that better because it makes your skin really matte right when you put it on so makeup goes on better. I've read people say that putting this Tease Zone stuff on after your makeup it works better but I put it on and it just looked crappy. I guess over powder it doesn't work as good. And my makeup also didn't cling to it as well. I'm very jealous that this worked for everyone else but me. The ONLY thing that I have found that even SOMEWHAT makes a difference is Clinac BPO (perscription only) that has acne stuff in it too and that keeps oil away for about 2 hours BUT it's so harsh on my face it burns and I get all red and my face peels eventho it's still oily. But thats the only thing that has ever worked for me for more then an hour..

Man, all you people that like this product because it worked for you are just LUCKY! I bought this product after purchasing Clinac OC and HATING IT because someone wrote a review saying Smashbox anti shine was the only thing they found that really worked for them altho it was very uncomfortable to wear. THEY GOT THAT RIGHT!!!!!! I have EXTREMELY oily skin and when I put it in it felt like i couldn't move my face like I had a face mask on. I got the neutral but there was white smudges EVERYWHERE and you could see everywhere I didn't apply it..I thought maybe it was just the way i was applying it and that I would try again the next day because all I was worrying about was the oil control...I ran back to the mirror and hour later and i could see little dots of oil where it was starting to come out of my pores already...I went and returned it and the person working there also told me that this product WILL clog your pores so not to use this everyday. But, this product was a let down and I will continue to search for something less harsh then this.. but when they mean matte- THEY MEAN MATTE. there was no oil on my face after i put it back on but an hour later...BLAH. and over makeup? forget it. maybe foundation but not powder. I think you are better off washing ur face, applying moisturizer where needed, apply a THIN layer of milk of magnesia (laxative!) to ur oily spots (I use it on forehead, nose, chin, and on the part of my cheeks closes to my nose) and then apply powder..this really does soak up a good amount of oil..I have the worst oily skin and this helps everywhere but my cheeks for a good 1 1/2-2 hours (for those will just plain oily skin and not mega oil, it will prolly last wayy longer). and this ofcourse does not clog the pores because it doesn't contain silicone and crap.
