BB Cream -Unlisted Brand - Mistine - BB Wonder Cream
Themonsunxxx 7/6/2010 10:25:00 PM
I got this product on a recent trip to Thailand. I wanted to try a BB cream, so when I saw this at a 7-11 by my house I had to get it. The packaging is adorable and very luxe looking. I think it works really well to cover the bare minimum. It'll cover bags, blemishes and any imperfections lightly. It's good for a natural look. I liked it and if I had the chance I would buy again!

Palettes -Sonia Kashuk - Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette
Themonsunxxx 7/6/2010 10:19:00 PM
This product is absolutely phenomenal. I got it cause I had heard great things about it from YouTube gurus. There's three (creamy) concealers. One for my under eye area, blemishes and the lifesaver green neutralizing concealer. I use all of these on a day to day basis. The under eye concealer is nice and light and really brightens up my eyes. The concealer to cover up blemishes is a nice tan color, suiting me well for my medium skin, especially in the summer. The green concealer has been my love the most out of this palette. I'd never been an advocate for green concealers, but was open to try it. Needless to say, I've fallen for them, particularly this one. It's creamy(like all the other concealers in this palette), neutralizes redness precisely and blends well into my skin. The eye concealer setting powder is also extraordinary. I've never used a under eye powder thats worked so well at not accentuating the lines under my eyes and keeps my concealer in place. It's fantastic. This product blows my NARS concealer out of the park. I would recommend this to ANYONE. Go and try it, you won't regret it!

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - bamboo eye shading brush

I found this brush too stiff and not able to pick up color well at all. I gave this to a friend.

Misc Beauty Tools -Aveda - Shammy Cloth
Themonsunxxx 6/12/2010 11:42:00 AM
This product is unique. What it is exactly is a washcloth that dries to a stiff feel after you use it. This allows bacteria not to infest in the washcloth, which is what happens to other washcloths without this feature. I use it everyday, in the morning to clean my face, night time to take it off. It works like a dream and my breakouts have definitely decreased from it. I have oily skin and I must say this product somehow toned it down. I love this washcloth and needless to say, I would buy it again if needed!

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Cololr Sensational in Sweet & Sassy
Themonsunxxx 6/9/2010 7:44:00 PM
I got this gloss on clearance at Target as well. I liked the Colorsensational lipsticks, but I had never felt the urge to try the glosses. Since this was on sale I decided to pick it up and boy I'm happy I did. This color is a gorgeous coral, pinky color. It's perfect for everyday and goes with every type of look you're going for in my opinion. Also, it's a nice summer gloss, the color goes in with the corals and golds(slight gold sheen to it) and looks natural and sweet. But it can also go with a smokey eye, which I've tried. It does not have any noticeable smell. My issues with this product is mainly the packaging. It's not that cute and is also a bit annoying to snap shut. When you twirl it around to close, you really have to snap it or else it won't close. Nonetheless, it's a gorgeous gloss and I would repurchase :)

Makeup Brushes -Sonia Kashuk - Contour Blusher Brush
Themonsunxxx 6/7/2010 8:25:00 PM
I do like this brush for applying my bronzer, but it does shed. It doesn't shed immensely, but too much for my liking. It also isn't as dense as I'd like it to be. It's an average brush, but would not repurchase.

Eyeliner -NYX - NYX Eyeliner in Sapphire
Themonsunxxx 6/7/2010 5:07:00 PM
This liner has been a personal favorite of mine since middle school. I love blue liners, especially royal blues. This liner is definitely the type of color I enjoy. It applies smoothly and pretty thin if you use the right sharpener. I often use this, then use Speed Blue from the Kat Von D Palette in Beethoven. This combination is simply gorgeous! I'd recommend this liner to anyone who loves blues or wants to get into more colorful makeup. It's not too bright, but it's still branching off from neutrals. Plus, these liners are ridiculously cheap. You can't lose with this! I absolutely will repurchase :)

Eyeliner -NYX - Eye / Eyebrow Pencil 910 Satin Blue
Themonsunxxx 6/7/2010 5:02:00 PM
I'm very into blue liners and I decided to try this out. I wasn't too impressed by this one unfortunately. The color is metallic sea blue. I like the color, but the consistency of the pencil itself isn't too smooth. It doesn't deter me from using it, but I do tend to reach for my Urban Decay liner in Electric when I want to use a blue liner. It's cheap so I'd say give it a try. It's not a favorite of mine though, so I will not be repurchasing.

Eyeliner -Sephora - nano Pearl Beige 09
Themonsunxxx 6/7/2010 4:56:00 PM
I love this little pencil. It's probably one the cheapest things you can get in Sephora. It costs five dollars. It's a creamy, shimmery, yellowy-beige color. It's gorgeous in the tear ducts, waterline and even on the lid itself. I absolutely love this liner. It's soft and smooth and there's no need to tug on your eyes to apply it, Of course, it is small but the price is cheap. Plus this little pencil has lasted me a long time. It's great for a travel makeup bag especially since of it's tiny size. I'd say give this a try! Even if you don't like it, you wouldn't have wasted a lot of money and at least you have more points in your Sephora Points Bank :D

Blush -MAC - Mocha blush
Themonsunxxx 6/6/2010 4:11:00 PM
This is a decent blush. It was the first one I ever bought from MAC. It's a matte color which I like. A muted pinky color is what I would describe it as. It's good for a natural flush. The only cons I must say is that it's easy to over apply. It's pigmented so one swipe gives you maybe even too much color. You have to tap off the access, then apply. If you don't you'll look like you have intense rosacea..which isn't the look I'm usually going for. I'd say it's an average blush, not too crazy about it. But I'm not even a huge blush girl in the first place. Don't think this will be a repurchase for me.

Pressed Powders -Estee Lauder - Lucidity Translucent Pressed Powder
Themonsunxxx 6/6/2010 3:46:00 PM
When I first got this powder and took it home I thought the color was too dark for me. I have an olive skintone and I got this powder in Medium. I just dug this out of my makeup drawer a few weeks ago and I've fallen in love with it. It's perfect to set my makeup and controls my oil. It's light and my perfect powder. Would repurchase.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon #252B Nutty
Themonsunxxx 6/5/2010 6:09:00 PM
Mmm I'm loving this shadow. It's a gorgeous taupey brown color. It has some similarities to Satin Taupe, but not at all a dupe for the color. It's gorgeous for a neutral, everyday look, but could be amped up to a smokey eye. It's so cheap and I would repurchase!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Single in Brulee
Themonsunxxx 6/5/2010 6:06:00 PM
I got this for BOGOF with Wet 'n' Wild's Nutty, so I got those two shadows for two dollars. Basically a dollar for each shadow. The cheapness is first off, amazing. Sales often happen with Wet 'n' Wild products so it's easy to get it cheaper than an already cheap price. These shadows are buttery smooth and you get full, pigmented color by one swipe. This color is a beige, flesh toned color, perfect for all over the lid or as a matte highlight. I'v been very into matte highlights ever since I purchased the Maybelline's Natural Smokes. I'm glad to have a small, good quality matte white on hand instead of taking around that quad for that one shadow. Also it's good for a nude eye =]. The only issue I have with this particular shadow. For some weird reasoning the one I purchased was poorly manufactured. I broke my nail trying to open it(Very depressing because I got my nails done the day before..ugh) and it's still like that. The other shadow I purchased did not have this problem. I will repurchase though :)

Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Airy Fairy
Themonsunxxx 5/31/2010 8:31:00 PM
This is a gorgeous lavender-pinky color on my olive skintone. It has a glossy sheen to it, which makes it seem like you have a bit of gloss on. It smells like Twizzlers which I adore! It looks great with a neutral eye and even a smokey eye. Because of the gorgeous color and the versatility I will be repurchasing!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colour Riche in Fairest Nude
Themonsunxxx 5/31/2010 8:28:00 PM
When I first got this product I was not impressed. I thought it was an ugly, brown looking nude lipstick and didn't suit me. Now that I'm older and wiser I've realized how much I need this lipstick in my life. It's creamy and pigmented. It works perfect for every day. I use this more than my beloved MAC Warm me up lipstick! The smell isn't that great, but it's tolerable in my opinion. It's a beautiful, cheap pinky nude color and I would absolutely repurchase.
