Sunscreen -Shiseido - Anessa - town use sunscreen SPF30

Skin type : super sensitive and combi. I had previously tried DHC White which gave me huge cystic zits but actually whitened my skin to a point where it looked pretty unnatural. Shiseido Mild SPF50 broke me out in tiny bumps. I've resigned myself to the fact that my skin for the moment is unable to tolerate high PPD sunscreens so this sunscreen is for me the next best option. When I first started using it I did break out but not as bad as with the DHC. The breakouts have subsided and now I'm pretty much able to use this everyday. Granted my cheeks are so sensitive that I don't think I'll ever be able to put any sort of sunscreen on them, I use this on my T zone and neck. No balling or white cast (like with the DHC). Perfectly fine under makeup and foundation. Not drying and no mattifying feature at all - I think this would be perfect for dryer skins. Gonna stick with this till I dare try something new :)UPDATE : After more experimentation, I always end up back on this. Everything else breaks me out or irritates, and this is the ONLY thing I can use on a daily basis. Those with very sensitive breakout prone skin do try this. I recently purchased the SPF 43 from the same Anessa line. I'll try it when I'm feeling brave enough, though I figure the fact that this has only 1 silicone in the formulation is the reason why it doesn't break me out - the SPF 43 has like 3 or 4 different cones, so in all likelihood it'll break me out.
Love love love. Jet pure black with colour so solid you actually only need 1 coat. The best part is the finish which is high gloss - looks like new car paint! Perfect.
Skincare - Face -Chantecaille - Flower Harmonizing Cream

I really wanted to like this and my skin did for a few days until I realised my pores were clogged by this. Absolutely love the smell though - I think this must be the best smelling face cream I've ever sniffed. I think this was just too rich for my younger skin but on the plus side it didn't cause my highly reactive skin any irritation so I think this would be perfect for sensitive but more mature and dryer skins. The other minus was the packaging - a huge tub just doesn't seem sanitary especially if you're going to be dipping your fingers in there twice a day.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Gel Exfoliant

Wonderful. My new HG. Really affordable and best of all doesn't cause me any irritation which is very rare for me having highly reactive skin. Granted, I'm only using it on the less sensitive spots of my face - my T zone, but I had terrible blackheads and raised bumps on my nose that nothing could get rid of. This, together with a peel off mask and regular manual exfoliation has improved my condition amazingly. There are still blackheads and some raised bumps, but much improved and I think if I go on hopefully they will go away altogether. Highly recommended!
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Calamine and Pramoxine HCl Anti-Itch Cream

Wow this stuff is amazing. I broke out in a terrible rash on my arms and legs due to an allergic reaction to a new body lotion/scrub combo that I tried. I tried 1% hydrocortisone but I think it's been open for too long and has lost it's effectiveness so it didn't really help. Luckily I had an unopened tube of this lying around. On the first application it totally soothed the annoying itchiness. I applied one more time just to be sure before bed and this morning I woke up to find the rash 80% gone and subsided!
My new HG. I used to have alot of problems with dark spots once a pimple subsides. It would take months to get rid of naturally but now this speeds things up alot. Dirt cheap too. Highly recommended.
I bought this cos I tried the Flower Harmonizing Cream which didn't irritate me and was totally fine but wanted to try this for something lighter to wear in the day underneath makeup. However, this broke me out badly and gave me tons of clogged pores. My skin is very sensitive and prone to clogged pores. Love the packaging though as opposed to the Cream that comes in a huge tub that doesn't seem very sanitary.
I loved the lightness and consistency, and it adequately moisturised my combo skin BUT irritated the hell outta me. I didn't even apply it to my most sensitive spots (cheeks) and still I had irritation there. Now not sure if I should ever try Vit C products again, luckily I purhcased ONE sample vial only on Ebay. Back to the drawing board.
I was equally sceptical about paying so much for water in a spray can but after reading the reviews here I decided to go for it. Now I can't stop spraying this on my face! Soothes, calms and hydrates my combi but hyper senssitive skin, especially when I get allergic reactions to products. Reduces redness and when sprayed onto a made up face, keeps makeup looking fresh and un-cakey. Wonderful.
I thought mineral makeup was better for sensitive skin? This blusher just caused the worst reaction for me on my cheeks! Irritated me very badly.
Great soothing mask for irritation and sensitivity. The thing I like about it is it doesn't make my combi skin too greasy after like most moisturizing masks. Has a cooling effect.
Cleansers -Shu Uemura - Cleansing Beauty Oil Balancer

I used to use this oil but my skin got more sensitive after I switched to the Light oil. Recently, I decided to try this again because I was running out of the Light oil, but it totally ruined my skin cos of my sensitivity. Immediately after cleansing my cheeks began to itch and felt tight. On a positive note, this cleanses very throughly just like all the other Shu oils.
Disappointed. Perhaps I started out too fast using it every night without buffering. Had great results in the first few days but by the end of a week of continuous nightly usage my hypersensitive cheeks reacted VERY angrily! Super sensitive skin type should stay far away from this. Also the emulsion was just too greasy on my combi skin. Probably better for dryer skins. Have switched to the gel version with wonderful results so far.
Treatments -Avene - Ystheal Gel with Retinaldehyde

Am surprised there aren't more raves for this given it's popularity on the skincare board. Anyway, this gel is amazingly cheap, given it's "miracle" properties, and is somewhere along the lines of La Mer in terms of results, only La Mer in my opinion is really only suitable for dry and mature skins. I have hyper sensitive combi skin, and I use this on top of my Dr Hauschka moisturizer cos on it's own I found it to be pretty drying. I had terrible results with the emulsion form of Ystheal, so sensitive skins, stay away from that one. I use this every other night now and it literally makes my skin glow. My pores shrink and overall skin tone is more even. Only gripe is I wish they had larger tubes of this since most of us can only buy it online. Other than that, so far so good, I hope my skin doesn't react badly later on. MUST BUY!
Love love love this! Evens out skin tone, moisturizes without leaving skin greasy and calms irritation all in one product! My skin is super sensitive and combination. This sinks right into the skin after about 15 mins. Perfect.
