This wasn't emollient enough for my dry chapped lips and the fragrance isn't as nice when you're wearing it all day long. Chapstick in the blue tube works better than this did for me. Too bad.

Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 7.5%, Zinc Oxide 7.0% Inactive Ingredients: Purified Water, Petrolatum, Isopropyl Palmitate, Octyl Stearate, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Dimethicone, PEG-100 Stearate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Polyisobutene, PEG-7 Trimethylolpropane, Coconut Ether, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyether-1, Citric Acid, Oleth-3 Phosphate, Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Triethoxycaprylylsilane. This is a link to the Elta Gold review which is the same product, they just changed the name to Elta MD: http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=81532/Elta_Gold_UV_Facial_SPF_30/Unlisted_Brand/Sunscreen I can't use any sunscreen everyday but this one is gentle enough to wear whenever I need it. My skin is very dry so I use a little Cerave lotion under it for the perfect amount of moisture. Haven't tried makeup over it, so I can't say if it's good for that. Comes off very easily with Clinique TTDO balm and doesn't sting like most sunscreens. My derm charged me $20 for the 4 oz. jar.

ghd BCA 2009 IV Pink Styler I bought this to replace my CHI Turbo last month. All I can say is that this blows the CHI out of the water! It's amazing! It's heats up instantly and takes less passes over each section to smooth out my fine hair. Highly recommended!

My cuticles are abused from washing frequently to me picking at them continuously. I try to use this at least before bedtime if not more often throughout the day and it does help. I love the sweet almond oil scent too. I use this over my cuticles on freshly polished nails to help the polish dry faster.

Treatments -Aveda - Color Conserve Strengthening Treatment
rated 2 of 5

I've always loved the scent of Color Conserve products even though I don't like the shampoo or conditioner. I decided to try this anyways and it was okay at best. My hair wasn't as soft or shiny as when I use Bumble Creme de Coco masque. My hair is fine, dry, and very slightly damaged from highlighting so I imagine this isn't for moderate to severe damage.

Shampoo -Matrix - Biolage - Hydrating Shampoo
rated 5 of 5

This stuff dries my hair out so bad, it feels like I'm using baby shampoo or something. I used to love this in high school so maybe they changed the ingredients, who knows. Update 9/20/12: I decided to purchase the big sizes of this and the conditioning balm since they were super cheap. My hair is growing out, down to my shoulders now. I have to say now that my hair is longer, I'm loving the combo. I rarely blowdry, I usually just use Paul Mitchell gel and go curly. My hair looks so much healthier now.

Conditioner -Matrix - Biolage - Conditioning Balm

I recently purchased this to alternate with my Kerastase Nutridefense masque. It's a decent conditioner that detangles well and smells heavenly but my hair doesn't seem as smooth after blow drying when I use this. It doesn't weigh my fine 2A hair down which is good and I much prefer this to the Ultra Hydrating Balm. Styling Products -Bumble & Bumble - Prep
rated 5 of 5

My hair is fine and curly/wavy, so it tangles easily. But spraying this on wet hair after washing makes the tangles slip right out. It also doesn't weigh my hair down either which is amazing. No build-up bit a good dose of moisture, just what my curly locks need.

Conditioner -Kerastase - Nutridefense Anti-Drying Nutri-Protective Leave-In Spray for Dry and Sensitized Hair [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5
junomacguff 12/15/2009 3:10:00 PM

Was using Sublimateur Jour until I cut several inches off of my hair and then I found it to be too heavy. My stylist used this on me last time I had my hair done and I loved it! Just enough moisture but doesn't weigh my fine highlighted hair down. I use this before Chroma Thermique or if my hair is feeling drier Nectar Thermique and the end result is shiny hair.

Moisturizers -Sage - Hydrating Emulsion

Barbara from Sage sent a sample of the Summer formula of this several months ago with my order and I was anxious to try it since centerfuse loves it so much. Something in it irritated my skin but it did have a nice texture. Glad I tested before buying!

Lotions/ Creams -Sage - Heavenly Body Velvet
rated 5 of 5
junomacguff 12/15/2009 3:02:00 PM

Barbara from Sage was nice enough to send me samples of this in my last order and I really like it. Similar texture to the Old Lady Cream but moisturizing enough for my dry abused hands. Didn't irritate my sensitive skin and I'd bet this would even be okay for facial use. I'm going to order a full-size. Ingredients: Stabilized Aloe Vera Cold Pressed Gel, Safflower Oil, Glyceryl Stearate, Peg100 Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Hyaluronic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinyl Palmitate, Green Tea Extract, Comfrey Extract, Sodium PCA, Dimethicone, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Cetyl Alcohol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea, Fragrance May also contain: Hydrolyzed Sunflower Oil, Allantoin, Mineral Oil, Bee Propylis Gel, DM DM Hydantoin

Moisturizers -Sage - Old Lady Cream

I use this over my moisturizer (either Cerave lotion or Clinique DDML) in the colder months to seal in moisture and protect my sensitive skin from the cold and wind. It's light and fluffy, works great as an eye cream especially if you're worried about millia or have sensitive eyes like I do. Doesn't break me out or irritate my rosacea which is a miracle. Have repurchased several times.

Treatments -Sage - 1% BHA Mother Strickland's Skin Relief
rated 1 of 5
junomacguff 12/15/2009 2:55:00 PM

I'm not sure which ingredient in this didn't agree with me but it made me itchy within 10 minutes of using it. I've also been peeling for over a week even though I washed it off after that 10 minutes and only used it once. Similar to Paula's Choice gel but with a great little pump bottle so you waste less. Ingredients: Stabilized aloe vera cold pressed gel, butylene glycol, allantoin, panthenol, ethoxydiglycol, salicylic acid, hydroxyethylcellulose, isotheth-20, hyaluronic acid, chamomile extract, calendula extract, green tea extract, arnica extract, retinyl palmitate (vitamin a), methylparaben, diazolidinyl urea, tetrasodium EDTA, triethanolamine.

Cleansers -Sage - Sensitive Facial Shampoo
rated 1 of 5
junomacguff 12/15/2009 2:48:00 PM

This cleanser is similar to Purpose liquid cleanser IMO, not good for dry skin. I'm not even sure if I could use this in the summer. This is the clear formula, the extra gentle is the opaque white formula. Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Ammonium lauryl sulfate, cocamidopropyl betaine, carbomer, polysorbate-20, diazolidinyl urea, methylparaben, triethanolamine. May contain: hydrolyzed sunflower and/or safflower oil, bee propylis gel, or allantoin

Shampoo -Nioxin - Scalp Recovery Medicating Cleanser
rated 5 of 5

My scalp had been itching terribly since we turned the heater on. I tried Nizoral and massaging jojoba into my scalp before washing, neither of which helped. I decided to try this after JCuevas04 rec'd it and I'm so glad I did. This shampoo is wonderful, lathers very nicely and smells nice but my hair didn't feel like straw after rinsing. Agree with all she said in her review and this will be a winter staple for me for sure. A little $$ considering it's a dandruff shampoo but it made my itchies go away immediately, so it's worth it.
