Cleansers -Aura Cacia - Grapeseed Oil
One1Cherry 11/7/2011 9:28:00 AM
I'm using this as makeup remover and it works like a dream. Does not cause breakout and doesn't feel oily. I massage into my face for one minute to loosen makeup, wipe off with cotton pad and repeat. Feels clean and not oily at all. Love it.

Polishes -Revlon - Perplex
One1Cherry 11/5/2011 11:24:00 PM
This is probably my favourite nail polish. I love muted purple grey tone polish, and this has a sheen/shimmer that is very unique and beautiful. I love it on my toes, which is kind of a waste as the shimmer is not visible. I only wear nude on my fingers though, dark colours are too much for my fingers, I think, though it looks great on other people.

Lip Treatments -Korres - Guava Lip Butter
One1Cherry 11/5/2011 6:00:00 AM
I love this lip butter. Not many lip treatment works for me because i have really dry, chapped lips. This really works for me and is super creamy. The scent is light and nice. I don't like the container and always prefer tube form, just really don't think its sanitary to dip into the product with my finger. Love Korres mandarin lip butter in lipstick too.

Moisturizers -Bioderma - Hydrabio Legere
One1Cherry 10/29/2011 9:22:00 PM
I really really liked this moisturizer. I'm using this in conjunction with the toner in the same range for 2-3 weeks and this has been the most effective products so far for hydrating my dry skin. I am extremely pleased with them. The texture feels gel like and not greasy. It absorbs into my skin quickly and feels silicony smooth. After a few hours I would touch my face and it would feel soft and hydrated. The scent is almost non existent which I love, no strong perfume for me, I'll always be worrying eveytime i use the product that the perfume would irritate my skin. It comes in a pump container, very easy to use and looks expensive.

Top/Base Coats -Essie - Good to Go! The Fastest Drying Top Coat
One1Cherry 10/15/2011 4:32:00 AM
This top coat is too underrated. To me, its similar to Seche Vite but the consistency of this top coat is not as thick as SV and it does not dry as quickly as SV. As such, many times i'd apply nail polish about half to one hour before bed time and wakes up to finger prints etc on some of them. With SV, you can apply the top coat immediately following your polish. Go to go you'll have to wait like fifteen seconds otherwise your polish will smudge. This is just a tiny bit less glossy and shiny as SV. Good to go may be the reason my nails lasted longer, I do find SV tend to make my polish chip easier. The brush is also just as tiny and drives me nuts. I hated them, wish both brands will make flat opi brushes. This product also does not contain harmful ingredients.

Lips -The Body Shop - Delipscious Tinted Lip Balm
One1Cherry 10/13/2011 12:35:00 AM
I have pretty dry lips and this product is not moisturizing enough for me. It feels very buttery and smooth when I first put it on. I thought it would be great for me, but after a while, my lips feel very dry. I think it would be good for people with just slightly dry lips and I do like the packaging. It feels sturdy and slim, and the cap opens easily. The design of the packaging is also appealing. I hated the scent, don't really know why, its a fresh melony scent but I just didn;t like it.

Treatments -Orly - Nailtrition
One1Cherry 10/11/2011 1:34:00 AM
This is by far my favourite base coat. My nails are soft and peels/crack easily. This made my polish lasted longer than any other base coat ie. Nailtek foundation II, CND stickey, Posh. Normally my nail polish start lifting at the sides and chipping by the next day... "horror" This kept my nail polish looking perfect until end of day three when I notice small lifting at the side of one my nails. Amazing... my HG base coat! Its tinted light pink and has fine shimmer which may be why it lasted so much longer on me.

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Ego QV wash
One1Cherry 10/10/2011 9:54:00 AM
I have extremely dry and sensitive skin that tends to react to most body washes. I would get really itchy on my chest right after my shower. Been using this for the past few years and loved it. Sometimes i even use this for my face in the morning and it works great. It cleans well and doesn't dry out my skin. I've tried QV's gentle wash, I find its too gentle for me and doesn't clean well enough ie. areas where my skin is oily, like my upper back and chest. This product is fragrance free and lathers very well. Product description: Ego QV Wash is a mild, effective cleansing treatment specially formulated for dry or sensitive skin. For the treatment of dry skin, scaly skin, winter itch, ichthyosis, xerosis, dermatitis and other dry dermatological conditions. For the relief of symptoms of atopic eczema and psoriasis. Particularly suitable for infants and the elderly. QV Wash is free from lanolin, perfume, colour and propylene glycol to suit the most sensitive skin types. QV Wash moisturises as it cleanses. pH 6.

Shampoo -Korres - Aloe and Soapwort pH Neutral Shampoo for Frequent Use
One1Cherry 10/8/2011 8:59:00 AM
I just got a small bottle of this and tried it for the first time. After rinsing the shampoo off, i'm surprised at how soft and "light" my hair feels, if it makes any sense. My wet hair feels "light"?? I used the conditioner I already have and after my hair has air dried, they feel softer than usual, has more volume, but somehow my hair also seems to break alittle more easily than usual. I have oily scalp and dry, fine hair. I hate shampoos for dry hair as they leave behind sticky coat on my scalp. This shampoo leaves my scalp clean while keeping my hair soft. The scent is nice, which is surprising as most other products from Korres don't usually smell nice. Being a natural brand, i guess the scent are just natural smells of the ingredients and I don't mind that at all. The consistency is very watery so you may need to use alittle more product than other shampoos. This may be because it does not contain "thickening chemical" because Korres is a natural brand. Update: I finished my 50ml bottle and do really like it. It gives my hair volume, my hair smells nice and soft, my oily scalp feels clean. The only con is that my hair is alittle tiny bit more prone to breakage which can be remedied by using a more moisturizing conditioner. And I have fine hair so that may be it. Still I really liked it and will repurchase it to alternate between my Lush shampoo bars and paul mitchell tea tree shampoo.

Nails -Zoya - Remove +
One1Cherry 10/8/2011 8:45:00 AM
I ordered a small bottle from ebay and i'm surprised that this dries out my nails after reading all the great reviews. I have extremely soft and peeling nails that crack even when they are short, i've been using non-acetone removers ever since they got so weak. After removing my nail polish with this, i notice how dry my nails look and in the center of some of my nails, was what look like a thin piece peeling off. That has never happen to me before. A few days later, i tried it again on my thumb nails, the strongest of my finger nails and the same thing happen. I won't be repurchasing this.

Highlighters -Physicians Formula - Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip
One1Cherry 10/5/2011 11:17:00 AM
I'm NC 25 for comparison and i use the lighter half of this product for highlight. The shimmers are fine and the warm tones look very natural giving a healthy glow. The packaging however is not durable - cover has broken off within a year and didn't even reach for it daily! Haven't even noticed a dip in the product and I've had it for maybe 2 years. I alternate this highlighter with a few others and now i keep at work for touchups. I use small fluffy brushes like elf's blush brush or Sigma's small tapered brush (egg shaped). I feel F109 brushes would be too densed and loosely packed bristles are best for this. Overall a very good highlighter, comparable to many highend powder highlighers.

Loose Powders -TheFACEShop - Flebeaute Collagenic Mineral Loose Powder
One1Cherry 10/5/2011 11:12:00 AM
I really liked this, the powder is very fine, does not settle into fine lines, thereby emphasising them. This is meant for mature skin so I guess this attribute will definitely help. Currently i'm using my elf studios kabuki brush with this and loving it. Also it lasts all day. The packaging is great too. The container is sturdy, I'll sprinkle some onto the lid and swirl my brush around, then apply. Comes in just two shades and I got the darker one.

Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil
One1Cherry 10/5/2011 11:06:00 AM
I just got this today and tried it immediately. Its amazing! I used two pumps on dry skin and massaged for maybe less than 30 seconds and everything came off. Ok to be fair i did not use full makeup, but still i'm impressed. No doubts this would remove full makeup just as easily. Best of all, after washing off with water, my skin don't feel oily. I love it! Usually I have to use cotton pad with eye makeup remover to remove all traces of my concealer that settles into the fine lines. With this, i don't have to, all came off! It basically feels like oil and smells of rosemary. I got this at half off which is amazing. Also love the pump dispenser, very convenient. Does not contain mineral oil. Really impressed with this. Will post updates if anything changes with more use. 8 Oct 2011: I used this product 4 times now and started noticing breakouts on places I don't usually get pimples. This is most likely the cause as I was not using any other new products. So sad as this removes makeup really well.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #209 Eye liner
One1Cherry 9/27/2011 10:41:00 AM
I received 209SE as a free gift for set I purchased from Mac. I learn that SE or special editions are machine made whereas the regular brushes are hand made and better quality. Nonetheless, this is still fantastic liner brush, a breeze to use with fluidline and totally surpass Sigma's version. The bristles are very tapered and pointed at the end, making it very easy to get a thin line, or a thick line if you so wishes. Sigma's version is alot thicker, I never used it before as I do not like how thick the bristles are. With Sigma's 209, it would be difficult to get a thin line. One thing I don't like about it is that the plastic cover is really cheap and tend to break. I've asked Mac for replacements but were told they do not have them. I've now used scotch tape all over it and really hated how it looks. Mac should make a black cover or at least a better quality cover for it.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #219 Pencil Brush
One1Cherry 9/27/2011 10:33:00 AM
This is the second Mac brush I purchased even though I already had the Sigma version. I love how pointed the tip is, and how firm it is for applying a little highlight to the inner corners of my eyes. It is also perfect for smudging a pencil liner. I got this as Sigma's version just could not do it, its too fluffy and soft and not pointed enough. I could not get the highlight to apply to only the area I wanted, it would just apply a more diffused and wider area which i do not like. Its too soft and would not be good for smudging out a liner. I do not like it at all. I love Mac's 219 pencil brush, its perfect.
