Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

Fluidlines are amazing! I'm clumsy by nature and a total klutz, so applying liquid eyeliner scared the bejeezus out of me. Fluidlines, though, were an excellent find for me. Let's talk about Blacktrack's color and consistency. The color is a good basic black black. Not greyish-black or blueish-black, but a pure black. It gives a good solid black line that could be layered or applied lightly or heavily, based on its gel-like consistency. It's classic black that allows a liquid eyeliner look with the ease of a gel eyeliner application. Applying it really is easy with a 266 or 209 brush. I love the 209 brush... best purchase I've made makeup-wise in a long time. With the right brush, it's very easy to apply and get the look you're going for. I like a thin "barely there" line on my upper eyelids that doesn't scream, "I'm wearing eyeliner," and using Blacktrack and my 209 brush, I can get just the look I want. This is a fantastic staple and great for even liquid-eyeliner-phobes like me.
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

This is definitely HG! There isn't really anything that hasn't been said before that I can add. This gives me extended crease-free eyeshadow wear, even in a super-humid environment. I've used it for years and keep buying it over and over again, sometimes even giving it away as gifts. The ONLY beef I have is with the packaging. I can never tell how much I have left in the tube and it seems like the only way I know when to replace it is when I start having trouble putting enough product onto the wand. UD, come on... give us a clear tube or some way of knowing when we're running low on this truly amazing product.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Rootbeer

Fabulous! I love Superbalms, and the new formulation is better than the original. Rootbeer is a fantastic neutral that would look good on anyone--it's sheer enough to go with any skin tone, but enhance just about any lip color. I dare someone to try this and not like it! :-) The texture is also great. It's moisturizing and lasts for a couple of hours without being sticky (good for a lip gloss!). Clinique really created a winner with this one!
Pretty floral fragrance, but nothing remarkable or new. It's definitely feminine and has decent staying power (lasts all through a workday), but it's not my favorite by any means. it's a pretty "safe" perfume that IMO doesn't stand out. I bought this in a wedding-planning frenzy. I thought, "Man, it's freaking Vera Wang. What could be more bridal than that for my wedding day?" After test-driving Vera Wang for a few days, my (now) husband begged me to wear my everyday CSP Vanille Abricot. Don't get me wrong; this doesn't smell bad, but it's just... there. The packaging is pretty and sophisticated though, and the scent is lovely, just not me, apparently.
Meh. This is an adequate product and feels nice on, thanks to the paraffin in it, but isn't anything special. I've been using this for the past few weeks to try to counteract the harsh drying winter air and have seen a little improvement from it. The texture is nice; it's not greasy and does absorb into the skin nicely after a while. I'm not crazy about the smell, though, as it reminds me of cucumbers and wax. It has softened my hands a little, but not any more than any Neutrogena or Clinique hand cream. That's why I don't consider it anything special. Personally, I prefer B&BW's Glove Me Tender hand lotion, because it has sunblock in it and it seems to work just as well. Sunblock is a good thing. The price isn't bad though. Usually B&BW has specials and sales on the True Blue Spa line and this is worth picking up at the sale price. Just don't expect any miracles.
Fragrances -Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanille Abricot

While I can see why some might not like this fragrance, it's achieved HG status as far as I'm concerned. It is rather sweet, as many have mentioned. I do get that cotton candy-like note that a few others have mentioned.
That said, this smells amazing on me. It's a soft vanilla with a touch of fruitiness to it. My husband won't leave me alone when I'm wearing it--and in a good way! ;-) The lasting power isn't superb, but it does smell sweet and feminine while it lasts, which is about 3-4 hours.
For the price, it's not a bad deal and I still prefer it to Pink Sugar. The packaging isn't pretty, as it's an aluminum can, but that does make it travel-friendly. I can rest assured that the Delta Airlines baggage handlers won't destroy my precious Vanille Abricot as they slam my luggage onto the baggage carousel.
Love this! This is definitely a fragrance I'll repurchase, which is a first for me, as I get bored with perfumes easily.
This is a must-have if you're trying to strengthen your nails! I've used this for years and have noticed a marked difference in my nails with regular use. They're less likely to break when I wear this under polish. My mother in law is prone to dry and brittle nails that often peel, especially in the winter. I loaned her a bottle of Nail Envy (I keep several bottles in the house) and she raved at how it helped her nails; the cracking and peeling was virtually eliminated. Any product that helps me gain brownie points with my mother in law is fantastic!
