BEST EYELASH CURLER EVER! This is a staple in my makeup bag. It just gives the most amazing curls every time--and all you need is one squeeze from this baby to achieve it. I've heard so many makeup gurus rave about this product because it fits a lot of eyes perfectly (I heard that if you have more protruding eyes, you should opt for a more curved curler) and it retains curls longer than my other eyelash curlers. Seriously best one I've had, and I seriously won't be using other brands besides this.
This is my everyday mascara and I love how it defines every single lash on my eyes. I has a great consistency that stays on my lashes but doesn't clump up. Not too dry nor too wet that it easily smudges all over. I've lasted hours with this mascara and it holds curls really well without it being too hard to take off at the end of the day. It has definitely reached an HG status on me.
I don't get why I see a lot of good reviews of this online when it's such a bad mascara! It has such a wet formulation that takes so long to dry up, making your mascara smudge like hell--even when it's slightly dry. Also the formulation doesn't hold curls very well too so I'd rather invest my money on better mascaras than waste my time even using up this product.
I love how this matte grey color gives my everyday neutral eyes a more smokey look when applied in the crease and outer v. It's not as dark so it also doubles as a brow powder and a setting powder to my black gel liner. A great all around matte color.

I love how I this evens out the color of my lips on days when I don't feel like putting on lipstick. The color is very sheer so you'll hardly notice it's there, plus it really makes my lips soft and moisturized.
I've been eyeing this blush for the longest time! It's got a gorgeous golden peachy bronze color that absolutely gives you the most amazing glow and it's just so silky smooth. It'll really look good on any skintone. Perfect all over color to brighten up your skintone. Worth putting in my HG list.
Hands down one of the best liquid eyeliners I've tried. I love the intense black color plus I love the packaging since it reminds me of Lancome's Artliner, which allows you to draw a precise line and go really close to your lashline. It is a bit long wearing, though not completely fool proof since I did notice it flaking and fading throughout the day or whenever I'd accidentally rub my eyes. But very, very good nonetheless.
Cleansers -St. Ives - Make-Up Remover & Facial Cleanser FRESH SKIN

I got so frustrated with this product. It shouldn't be called a makeup remover since it hardly took off any of my makeup! My normal cleanser actually did a better job taking it off. It feels very oily and everytime I use this, I feel that I need to wash my face again with another, much stronger cleanser which totally defeats the purpose of using this. It claims that it "effortlessly removes the heaviest makeup while cleaning the skin"---uh...no. It just smears your makeup all over your face, leaving it with a greasy feeling. Will NOT repurchase ever.
I have been using this product for years and years and years, not just as a makeup remover but as a deep cleanser before my facial wash and I have always been so pleased with how well this takes off the toughest of eye makeup without being rough on my skin. I absolutely love this product and have repurchased this over and over.
Amazing product! I got this when my mom traveled to London and saw this LE palette. Sadly, since this is an LE travel palette, it's only available in Estee Lauder airport counters. As the name suggests, the colors are quite on the "adventurous" side but don't worry, they all look amazing once on your eyes. At first I was really hesitant seeing the colors "Moroccan Mint" and "Amethyst Spark" together since whenever I use palettes, I try to use every single shadow available. But both work extremely well together with the other two colors, "Sugar Biscuit", which I use as a highlight, and "Wild Sable", which I use on my lid. The sheer green color of the mint surprisingly neutralizes the red areas on my eyes and doesn't go on flat on green but rather a sheer, shimmery wash--same with the amethyst color. The lip palette on the other side is equally gorgeous. You get two long lasting lipsticks which are so velvety and smooth and you also get the most gorgeous lip glosses below, all look great on its own but can also work well when worn together. One thing I wasn't much a fan of in this palette are he brushes that it came with. They were really flimsy and I had to use my separate makeup brushes (which were really a given with any travel sized palettes) but other than that, I cannot stop raving about this product. :) Highly recommend you go get them before they run out! PS. Last time I checked the rest of the shadows are in their permanent line except Moroccan Mint, which is devastating since this was the color that impressed me the most. :( **EDIT** I just checked my local EL counter and they've just informed me that all the colors found in this palette are indeed part of their permanent line! :) Good news for both them and me since I'll now be buying all four shades.
I've always loved sheer and glossy lipsticks and for the longest time I've been eyeing the Dior's Addict lipstick in Nude (#333). The color looks very sheer--not a lot of pigmentation, and yet very shimmery and glossy, something perfect for an everyday look. Gorgeous as it may seem, it was just too pricey for something that I would want to wear on an everyday basis. Then I came across this product and tried to swatch a few colors, Golden Vanilla (B302) and Sheer Papaya (CP 400) and they had the same sheer, shimmery color as the ones I was testing out at the Dior counter (Golden Vanilla had a more brownish tone while Sheer Papaya had a more coral tone). And as with most L'Oreal lipsticks, this one glided smoothly on my lips and had amazing staying power as well. Plus the cute packaging didn't hurt. Definitely repurchasing more colors.
I came across this product when I was looking for a MAC bronzer/ contour powder that was matte. After not finding any blush or bronzer that suited my skintone, my MAC makeup artist suggested that I try a powder that was darker than my skintone. After trying this, I was completely amazed at how natural this looked as a contour color on my skintone (NC30-35/C40) without it looking too shimmery or too dark or even too orangey as what most bronzers make my skin look. And because of this, I don't even bother putting on blush anymore, I simply contour and highlight for a gorgeous natural look.
I have always suffered from hideous dark circles, and it has always been a problem for me to conceal them with the perfect concealer. For years I have always tried to conceal them with lighter shades but it was until my MAC makeup artist told me to correct the color rather than conceal them and the perfect concealer for my NC30-35/C40 skintone was an NW25. At first I thought the color was too pinkish on my skin, but when she tried it on my dark circles then finished it off with MAC Studio Fix, I have NEVER in my life seen my under eye circles disappear completely. I have absolutely fallen in love with this product and will have to search no more.
This product is a great two-in-one product. It allows you to regulate the amount of mascara in the applicator depending on whether you want defined or bold lashes. I really hope they make this part of their permanent line because this definitely is a great product for people like me who loves to take their makeup from day to night. Just a couple sweeps of the first level applicator and I'm good for the day and a couple sweeps of the second level applicator and I can instantly transform my look to a more night-worthy look.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack
msmarielliejellie 5/14/2011 11:24:00 AM
This is a phenomenal product! Before heading out to buy this, I've always had problems with my eyeliner migrating and smudging all over my eyes (with or without primer) by the end on the day so I decided to switch to a gel liner. When I first tried gel liners, I tried one from a drugstore brand and it smudged like crazy especially since I live somewhere where its practically humid and summer all year 'round. But after hearing about MAC's Blacktrack having exceptional staying power, I finally decided to give gel liners another chance. This product is definitely my HG gel liner. Not only does it glide on smooth as silk on my eyes, it's extremely creamy yet dries in an instant and stays put all day long--giving me a crisp, clean line no matter what. I love this product! I apply it every single day and I wouldn't go out without it from now on.
