right now this is my go to powder. it is good but not great. set makeup decently, USUALLY does not become streaky. however it only handles shine for about 4 hours and i dont not have oil skin. sometimes when touching up during the day, it can end up looking uneven and cakey. its does the job for the most part, im sure there are way better things out there tho.

ive used this in champagne for years as well as many otheer colors. i think it is quite great for a drugstore brand. i find that it blends better, is more pigmented and stays better than other DS brands. it usually lasts most of the day. ( i do not have an oily lid problem) i find this to be a decent alternative to more expensive brands. i will use over and over again.

I LOVE this!! I used to absolutely hate gardenia until i tried this.actually i didnt care for this at first....to me there is something very beautiful and laid back about it. i can see how this wouldnt be for everyone,as it dos have a hint of grandma-ish perfume. it actually reminds me of shopping in an antique store or little small town shops...which for me is a wonderful past time!i think it really does depends on how this reacts on your skin, on many it quite easily could become an odd potpourri, dead flowers, scent. for me this will always be in my perfume collection and in my top five fave. it brings up wonderful memories and feelings for me personally with is the keystone of a particluar scent becoming a powerful emotion evoking tool, that involves all of your senses and not just a something that make you smell nice.

this lipstick really does stay moist and lasting power is pretty decent. i have to reapply every few hours, but that is fine IMO. the gold lights color makes a nice yellow beige nude. without an already nude concealer base i feel this color look very fake and garish. but with a nude canvase its quite beautiful.

sinks in well and provides quite decent coverage for a moisturizer while staying sheer. natually however, it does hold up to a long day.

pure gardenia! i love gardenia, but this was a bit intense and sharp. layered with something a bit softer it works quite well.

good not great as with most sonia kashuk brushes. the brush itself is of decent quality hairs, soft and provides even application. the bristles are also well planted in the ferrule and dont fall out. hoever after a few months the ferrule fall off of the handle. ive had thos problem with all of my sonia kashuk brushes. but it is nothing super glue cant fix. pretty decent alternative to very expensive makeup brushes

great brush. even application and comfortable handle. unfortunately the ferrule fell off of the handle after only a few months, but i was able to fix it with super glue easily and ive had it for 3 years with no problems

smells like bath and body works Pink Grapefruit on me. very disappointing, i was hopeing for pineapple, naturally! this also had the same 10minute staying power of a bath and body work body spray. a total disappointment from my beloved L'artisan

Makeup Brushes -Maybelline - Face Brush

this was so-so. PROS the handle was comfortable and ive had this brush for 7 years and it is still in great shape, even though i havent gone out of my way to wash it every week and take perfect care of it. CONS the hairs are a bit rough and it doesnt deliver the most even application. i use this to brush bronzer on my shoulders, neck and cleavage. i wouldnt use this on my face EVER.

did i get a contaminiated sample, first sniff made me gag! it smells like some nasty, sweet, 'i-cant-descibe-what the hell-this-is' to me. didnt get much better after i applied it and let it unfold on my skin. ick

wonderful product! covers up my circles and provides a great base for shadow. blends nicely and stays secure for most of the day. one tube lasts several months. im very sad it seems they have replaced this with the new age rewind double end....someone tell me that this isnt true

Mascara -Maybelline - Waterproof XXL

i really like this mascara. it holds up all day and both the base and the mascara itself deliver quite well. Micro fiber mascaras seem to be the answer for my short, thin,straight lashes, they really do look noticeably longer and thinker. I have two gripes with this one though: The microfibers seem to have a mind of their own and dont 'adhere'in a clean and uniform manner. It kind of looks like stray hairs somehow got stuck to my lashes. However a good comb through shuld fix this. Secondly, the consistency of the white base is rather thick, and, sometimes the mascara doesnt quite cover up all the white base, unless you clump it on, so a little white will peak through. i usually just brush over the areas where the base peaks through with black liquid eyeliner, and it covers up the white without any extra clumps. all in all it like this mascara and will repurchase over and over. All and all this is a decent mascara, but for a couple buck more you caqn get L'oreal double extend, which doesnt pose either of the problems the XXL does, and delivers an even longer and thiker effect.

pretty decent stuff.holds up all day and devlivers fuller lashes, however with the usual crusiness you get with most waterproof. nothing terrible though. would def repurchase
