I still can't decide if it was worth the price.....I bought 6 doses at my salon, and did a weekly treatment on my distressed blonde locks. My hair stylist recommended that I leave the treatment for AT LEAST 30 min, and not the 10 minutes recommended by the package instructions. She also told me to put a warm towel on my hair while treating them. That's what I did. 6 times in 6 weeks. I did not see any dramatic change....My hair weren't visibly softer, or shinier. I do have a good hair nature and although the colorations and other styling tools did leave their marks on my hair, I thought I'd see an improvement, coming with a price and a brand reputation. I will not buy again!
I know by reputation that Redken products are good, that's why I bought the all-soft shampoo (and conditioner) I have to say that i was NOT blown away by the results: I have damaged and unruly hair that need to be soften and mosturized, and it is not with these products that I will have that effect. I was a little disappointed......Will not buy again!
Jardins de Bagatelle is a clin d'oeil to Marie-Antoinette and her fast-living. It is a tribute to luxury, daring experiences and women of control. It is a strong strong fragrance, like any other mainstream Guerlain scent, so it is not recommended for very young women or women that don't have a strong sense of style. Yet it is girly enough to be wore on any occasion.
Very intense and feminine scent, but beware if you don't lke to be noticed: this perfume is one of a kind, and no other is quite like it. I bought it and I felt too young to wear it, so i waited. Now I feel i have the soul for it. It is a very deep fragrance that goes with a history, like a romance.
Great scent for a fresh, young and summery look. Can be a little boring if wore everyday, so it is an alternate fragrance, not an everyday one.
Love it because it REALLY stays on without creases, it's not expensive, and you can vary the intensity of the gray with more or less product, achieving a very subtle gray or a smokey sexy eye. I absolutely love it!
I don't have a lot of cellulite and I am young so with a little diet, exercice and the right lotion, it does not take a lot of work for me to get rid of the appearance of cellulite. Still, I was not totally convinced by Goodbye cellulite, although every girlfriend i know was crazy about it. The effects are immediate (firming that is) but not permanent (ok we know that) but the lotion smells very strongly and it is sticky on the skin. Plus when you're looking for a anti-cellulite + a moisturizer, this product is not that good. You have to choose if your skin is dry. Last thing: it is recommended that you use it twice-a-day, which is a lot when you have a busy schedule......I know I know, if you want results there is no easy way, but still i am not that convinced. I think i'll just learn to deal with cellulite from now on....!
This is definately the BEST primer/corrector you can find on the market....My skin is oily and uneven and now it is velvety and yet glowy, with any foundation/powder......When you wanna go for a natural look you don't even need foundation! This was not what i've been used to........Usually it takes a lot of tricks to make my complexion looks flawless. Plus, you need a tiny tiny quantity of product every time, so don't be scared by the size of the tube! the price is high, but this is an EXCELLENT product and you won't regret a cent that you paid for it.
I went back to blonde in a salon (i was chocolate brown) with the help of color strippers and blonde highlights, but it wasn't blonde enough so I purchased a blonde at-home color to do the base in a lighter shade. I found Nice and easy very light natural blonde (number 87 i believe) and the result was very good: non-orange, very fair (i think it is as light i you can be without bleaching) and it blends very naturally with the salon blonde i have (with is not color, but a series of highlights) The result is very good, although the blonde turns a little golden retriever-ish after 4 weeks, but then again, it's the same for every brand. UPDATE I used the same shade (87 ultra light natural blonde) for the second time; and it is GORGEOUS...I left it on for 45 min (I want maximum blonde) and it is a very beautiful light champagne blond that matches with the rest of my head. VERY HAPPY....
Hair Color -Garnier - Nutrisse Permanent Creme Hair Color

The dye itself is good, but I should have known that you cannot change color on already-colored dark hair. I chose on of the intense reds shade thinking it would give me nice red tones, but even though it's marketed for dark hair, it won't dye over colored hair: I am a deep dark brown, and it only dyed my roots (1cm) bright red, and gave SOME very very subtle reddish tones into the rest of my hair. Not good. I will buy a dark cool brown to cover my roots very soon.
A good mascara that add length and volume (because let's face it, it's rare that you want one and not the other) and is stays beautiful for as long as you want, is removed easily (not the case for evry strong mascara) and the price is good compared to other "luxury" products.(14$ or so) The negatives are that brand new, it is very thick and not easy to apply, and it tends to add some clumps here and there if you have a heavy hand.....The brush is a little thick for the first few weeks of use, but then after a while it's drying out a bit and it's easier to use. I've found good mascaras with better brushes and less clumps for less money, but the effect on lashes is less dramatic. EDIT august 08: after two disastrous experience with cover girl and clinique, I am back to MAC zoom lash....I don't think there is a better one for me.
Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer

very good product for a natural glow that won't dry out the skin. Good day-to-day moisturizing quality, and the tanning is natural and yet the results are fast (afetr two days you can see a difference) The only negative is that when using everyday, the tan tends to be a little strong, so my advice is to use it with an alternative non-tanning lotion....
Shampoo -John Frieda - Sheer Blonde Moisturizing Shampoo

Very good product: refresh the blonde, add shine and softness to distressed hair. The only negative is that it has to be purchased as a duo (shampoo and conditioner) and it is a little pricey for a massmarket product. (19$ or so for both products) but the results speak for themselves! EDIT: I prefered the old version though. I don't like the new scent and i think the new formula is less efficient than the old one. But it still works.
I have a very dry skin especially during winter and I am very satisfied with all St. Ives products, especially the 24 hour moisturizers. It is non-sticky, it smells good and my skin stays moisturized for a whole 24h, from shower to shower, even the rough area such as elbows, knees, etc. I wouldn't buy anything else...
