I like the idea of this product, I just wish the shades applied the same as they look in the compact. I bought Not Just Nudes, and like always, Revlon turned orange on me. I don't know what it is about drugstore eyeshadow, especially Revlon, but powder or cream, it'll turn orange.

Powders -L'Oreal - Feel Naturale Powder Compact

This powder is supposedly "Light Softening." Okay, I guess, but it seems just like powder to me! I bought this in "Light", and it's a decent product, but I had some trouble with it drawing attention to some of my dry areas. For slightly oily skin, it would be fine.

Blush -L'Oreal - Translucide Gel Blush [DISCONTINUED]

I am so in love with this product. Hold me back from buying every color!! I love liquid blushes because they look the most natural on me and last so much longer than the powder kinds. But, the liquids are so hard to blend and are hard to apply only a small amount. Enter Loreal gel blushes! I love, love, love these. I need no other blushes the rest of my life! I bought this in Blushing Glow, tried it at home, and quickly returned to the store to purchase Bronze Glow and Petal Glow. It's on my "Holy Grail" list now! ;-)

Tinted Moisturizer -Cover Girl - CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer in Light to Medium

At first I thought this was a great, cheaper version of my staple LM tinted moisturizer. Not so! After a few days of wearing the CG Tinted Moisturizer, I broke out on my chin. Wouldn't purchase this again, but it may work for some people who are not breakout-prone.

Eye Shadow -Calvin Klein - Taupe Eye Shadow

I received this in my Sephora order as well, as a sample. It's a beautiful shade of medium brown/gray with cool undertones. I tend to have a problem with brown shadow turning orange on me, and this does not do that at all. I WILL be ordering this one in the full size!

Lip Gloss -Stila - Pink Lip Shine

Great gloss. I love Stila Lip Shines, and I have three colors. The Pink one is too pale for me to wear on its own, since it's lighter than my lip color. It's a very pale shimmery ballet-slipper pink. Hint: wear it over a lipliner that is a shade or two darker than your lip color, and the gloss will lighten it up beautifully! I wear this with either Chanel Nude lip liner or MAC Quartz liner. Other shades of Lip Shine I recommend: Rose, Red, Blush, Melon, and Petal.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - Nutri-Vive with ceramide

My hair was terribly damaged and dry from using haircolor and then using a drying shampoo (that I hadn't realized was drying til a day or so ago.) I tried this as a cheaper alternative to Redken Allsoft, and it's fabulous. My hair is very clean, but smooth and soft and conditioned beautifully. It also did not irritate my sensitive scalp at all. Fab!

This stuff is decent, but not fabulous. After using it, my hair was less conditioned then when I use the regular All Soft conditioner. Don't waste money on this substandard product!

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Glossimer in Glaze

I like that this product isn't as sticky as, say, Lipglass by MAC. However the price tag is horrifically high for what this is. I purchased "Glaze", which is basically clear with a bit of sheer pink mixed in and no shimmer at all. It looks clear when applied.

Lip Treatments -Kiehls - Baby Lip Balm

I used to use Kiehl's #1 Lip Balm, but found the label would rub off the jar and the tube would get gooky after being half empty. The Baby Lip Balm seems to have the same benefits as the #1 but in a more convenient twist-up tube (like Chapstick's tube.) Much better, and the same reasonable price. However, I find if you turn the stick up too much it will squish out of the tube and ruin it, so turn it to just level with the tube opening and you'll be fine!
