Self Tanners -Neutrogena - Neutrogena Self Tanning Foam
girliex601x 5/9/2004 11:32:00 PM
i used to use this product all the time before actually getting a real tan =) my legs used to glow white, so i needed something to help it. although the foam was not perfect, it did help cover my sickly pale legs. the color is a lil orangey and applying is defintely tricky (like all self tanners). be sure to wash ur hands really well when using this product. i only gave it 3 lippies cuz it does streak, feel sticky, and takes a while to dry.
Toners -Neutrogena - Clear Pore Soothing Gel Astringent [DISCONTINUED]

i used this for two week and did not notice any difference. i'm not expecting miracles, but it didn't do anything except for give my skin a clean feeling afterwards, not to mention it leaves ur skin extra extra shiny.
Misc Beauty Tools -Maybelline - Maybelline eyelash curler
girliex601x 5/9/2004 11:04:00 PM
i actually don't know the price of this product because i got it from a friend, but it works great. i've read reviews on the more expensive eyelash curlers such as shu or benefit and i'm like hey! my eyelash curler can do all of that and i'm sure for only a fraction of the price too. it does curl ur lashes just fine and dandy. it also holds the curl throughout the day w/ the help of mascara of course.
Eye Makeup Remover -The Body Shop - Chamomile Eye Makeup Remover
girliex601x 5/9/2004 10:58:00 PM
for some reason, it does not too well w/ eye make-up and burns ur eyes if u are not careful when rubbing over ur eye. it left my skin feeling a lil sticky afterwards. the bottle does contain a good size amount for the price and it seems really gentle on the skin.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Waterproof
girliex601x 5/9/2004 10:54:00 PM
it was very clumpy and made ur lashes look like spider legs instead of smooth, long, and curled. i don't understand why beauty magazines always promote this as such as awesome mascara when it is not. plus, taking it off is defintely a pain... does not come off easily even w/ make-up remover
my bf loves this stuff. he's sacilian and irish, so his facial hair does grow back quite fast... but the lil tub i bought him 9 months ago is about 3/4 empty. sure, it is more expensive than the normal shaving cream but it does contain more product than air. plus, a lil goes a long ways. he says it tingles and definitely can feel a difference when shaving. he also mentioned that it gives him a much closer shave and soothes his skin afterwards. definitely going to purchase this again after he runs out... oh, btw i went w/ the aloe vera shave cream instead of the gel one becuz the gel looks too runny.
i got this as a sample in a college packet thing, tried it out, and purchased a larger size at the store. i like the minty feeling and the lil exfoliating beads. it works great on my oily skin, but i don't think i would reccommend it for people w/ sensitive skin. it definitely works well for the price.
goes on smooth, but it does smear even though i bought the aquadior, which is suppose to be waterproof. i have super oily lids and it does last longer than most eyeliners. gave it only 3 lippies just cuz it's expensive and doesn't perform as well as i would expect it to for the price i paid.
worst mascara ever... sure, the price is really good for dept store makeup, but the quality sux. u're better off sticking w/ drugstore stuff than purchasing this one. it makes ur lashes super clumpy, spider legs looking, and just overall plain gross.
Treatments -Clinique - Pore Minimizer T-zone control [DISCONTINUED]
girliex601x 5/9/2004 10:24:00 PM
i've been using this for over a year not because it works that great, but because i can't find anything else better. i have a really oily t-zone and this seems to help a lil, but by mid-day i am super shiny. i know u're suppose to touch up and stuff, but quite frankly... i'm too lazy and it's too much trouble. btw, make sure to blend it all into ur skin or else it does leave a dry cakey residue (looks like drool, toothpaste, or snot).
i love this pencil... been using it for at least 6 months now and it seems to last a while. i have oily skin and it does last throughout the day (as long as u don't rub it off or something). i have black hair, but bought the brown pencil and it looks very natural. i like to use the brush that's attached on the other end to blend for a more natural look.
i usually like to wear both of the colors together. for some reason, the shimmery light pink does not look good alone w/ my skin tone and the peachie color looks a lil too bright. but then again, i like kinda a natural looking glosses. it is quite sticky i think cuz when the wind blows, it tends to stick on my lips a lot. i think it's worth it for the price cuz i've had it for several months and haven't even reached the bottom of the tin yet.
Mascara -Christian Dior - Maximeyes [DISCONTINUED]
girliex601x 5/9/2004 10:07:00 PM
i really like this mascara, but the price ($21) lil steep for such a small tube (6.2 ml) i've been using it for several months now, but i just recently purchased dior show (just cuz i was curious). maximeyes fans out ur lashes and definitely increase the volume and length. it does tend to smear a lil towards the end of the day, about after 6+hrs... but overall, better than any of the lancome mascara and drug store stuff.
