OHHHH what an awesome color! looked kind of scary in the tube, but when applied looks like a muted warm red, with a little sparkle. i am SO BUMMED this is a limited edition! i think i'll have to get a backup, if i can resist trying out another color. i love lipglass in general, i can't believe i've waited this long to try it. this color can look just a little above natural with a light application, or full out slutty red with a heavy application. got love that. my favorite lipglass color so far!
well, i have been using this off and on for three weeks, in between polish colors, and i haven't really seen a huge difference in my nails. they still split and peel, and the polish itself is very thin and chips off easily, but i haven't been reapplying it every day. it dries very quickly though, which makes i great for days when a i want a little shine but don't have time for a full manicure. i think this might work better if i used it exclusively for a few weeks, reapllying every day...but i likes me colors...so i'll try their other treatments. i have fallen in love with every other product in the orly line i've tried, so i guess i can't win them all! *EDIT* i was soooo using this for the wrong thing. i should have been using clear or a topcoat for just plain everyday. this is really great for helping my peeling, weak nails! i haven't tried nailtek yet to compare, but i don't know if i'm going to need to. i've been using it for two weeks under my polish as a base coat, and it's even kept them strong through my holiday baking madness! i can't wait to see how strong they'll be after i've used it for a few months. LOVE!
this product rocks! i use this with ROMEO and WON'T CHIP with a colored polish for a full manicure, when my nails are feeling extra vulnerable, or without when i'm in a hurry but want purty nails. it is simply a very good basecoat at a very good price. it helps prolong the life of my nails and even out my nail surface. will definitely repurchase.

ok, this product takes some getting used to, but it's worth it. if used as a basecoat, WITH A RIDGEFILLER, it really does seem to keep my nails from splitting and breaking as they are wont to do. i use this with nail armor, one coat of colored polish, and the won't chip, and my manicure lasts nearly twice as long as it does without all the prep work. anyway, this treatment has tiny little fibers in it, which are supposed to help strengthen your nails. if you try to apply polish without ridgefiller though, the polish will get all gummed up in the fibers, and make an awful mess. this can also be used with just the ridgefiller for a nude look, when i don't have time for a manicure but don't want my nails to start splitting and breaking again. good shtuff!

i did NOT think i was going to like this color on me. it looks kind of peachy/taupe imo. i ordered it as a sample, thought, ummmm maybe NOT...but then got bored one day and dusted it on my lids. woooweeee! perks up my whole complexion, has a lovely sparkle, neutral enough to wear every day, but with enough ooomph to make me feel all warm and girly inside. definite repurchase!
oooh i love this color! it's a WARM mauve, which i didn't think existed. it's hard to describe, but think warmed up mauve mixed with gold. vera purty. as with all other orly, it lasts a nice long time, has a great consistancy, great brush, and doesn't break the bank. i'm going to stock up on this color just in case it's discontinued! i've never done that with a nail color before. yawesome.
waHOW! this stuff is a magic potion for my hair. i have bra strap length, dyed red hair, that tends to get frizzy and bushy without any product added. i use one squirt of this on my damp hair, and it turns it to silk! shiny, soft, gorgeous silk. makes my highlights shimmer! i adore this stuff, but i wish it weren't so expensive. i tried the sally knockoff, it's ok...but i'm still looking for a cheaper alternative to this. until then, i will just pony up the dough, because i can't do without this. yawesome.
Powder -Pure Luxe Cosmetics - Mineral Powder Foundation

first of all, i LOVE mineral cosmetics. i tried BE first, but had a reaction to the damned bismuth oxychloride they stuff it with to make it all 'glowy'. plllbbb on glowy, it itched like hell. anyway, i tried samples from three or four other companies, and liked them better, but found my HG with pure luxe! it covers beautifully, is easier to apply than BE, lasts longer, isn't shiny unless i add a shimmie, and she CUSTOM MIXES foundation for free. that is so cool. her samples are dirt cheap and generous. you just can't go wrong with this stuff! she has AWESOME customer service, even a message board where you can ask questions. WAHOOOO! i walk out of the door with a smile on my face in the morning, 'cause i know i look as pretty as i possibly can, and i couldn't do that without this makeup. honest.
oh WOW THIS STUFF IS AWESOME! i wish she sold it by the gallon! there is not one single cosmetic that has done for my face what this has. this is the description on the website- Have you ever wished for a "magical" product that would erase large pores, "experience" lines (I like to call wrinkles experience lines!) and leave your skin feeling like silk! WISH NO MORE! After months of formulating, I have captured magic in a jar! This gel/cream base acts like a soft-focus diffuser. Think of "Glamour Shots" in a jar! ERASER will soften the look of lines, large pores, and produce an all-over effect of perfect skin. This product applies like a creamy gel, then instantly dries to a soft, silky powder. You have never felt anything so luxurious! I promise, one try, and you WILL be hooked! Lightly shaded. This is the only item in my line that is not 100% mineral. The base is a silicone derrivitive that is cosmetic grade, and very gentle on your skin. Also includes vitamin E for skin repair. ok that's the owner's description. as a buyer, i will tell you that it fills in all my nasty crater pores like nothing else i've tried. it smoothes the very tiny lines between my brows, and when used with mineral makeup makes my face look FLAWLESS...seriously, poreless porcelain skin. it is not drying at all, and doesn't flake, which was my problem with other makeup primers. i use the regular eraser under my eyes, and the what red? eraser on my nose and rosacea addled cheeks...amazing stuff. hg. can't live without it, i get the shakes when the jar gets too low. lol!
LOVING this color! gives a hint of pink with gold shimmer...very neutral but SOOO sexy. i love this alone, and it's AWESOME over a lipstain. will definitely repurchase, after i try all the other colors out i drooled on at the mac counter. the texture is so different from other glosses!it almost felt like i had lipstick on. it didn't travel all over my face like some glosses do, and stayed on for more than ten minutes. gotta love that. if i use this with a pinky nude lipliner, it makes me look like i have angelina jolie lips. a definite keeper!

i agree that i don't really see the reddish tone in the brown with this shadow, but since i don't like my browns too red that works great for me! more of a medium taupe with a small amount of green sparkle. hg shadow, the one i reach for most often!

WAHOOOO I GET TO REVIEW PURE LUXE! i adore every little bitty thing about this line. since this is for the shadows i'll stick to that. they stay all day even on my oily lids, they can go from subtle to flashy, depending on how you apply them, and the color selection is out of this world! i have always been a taupe shadow from lashline to brow kind of gal. since i've found these i catch myself leaving the house wearing purple with holographic sparkles, glowing greens, even *GASP* BLUE shadow, and not looking mimi bobeck from drew carey at all! lol! i haven't had this much fun with makeup since i got into my grandma's merle norman stash when i was six. the owner has awesome customer service, she custom mixes foundation for FREE and has a message board where you can request products, and she actually listens! her samples are only a buck or so, depending on the shadow, and VERY generous. get ya some! you won't regret it!
