Lotions/ Creams -Dessert Beauty - Whipped Body Cream - Juicy

The taste is good--very sweet. I have a very hard time getting the lid off. The foam is fun but doesn't really moisturize. The sprinkles are a cute idea but I can't seem to get them out as the lid to open them is stuck as well.
I liked this better than Creamy. The taste/ smell are pleasant. This gloss burns though and the sparkles feel rouch on my lips.
I love other A/G products but this shampoo makes my hair dull and flat. Too bad because I haven't found a good clairifying shampoo for colour-treated hair yet.
Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Parissa Studio Warm Wax

This review is for the Parissa heated sugar wax. I went to Shopper's Drug Mart to repurchase a jar of the Alexandria heated sugar wax that I had been using for the past few hears. However, I saw that the Parissa wax was on sale and decided to give it a try. It is SOOOO much better than Alexandria. I tried it on my arms and the so much more hair was removed than when I used Alexandria. I only had to go over a few spots more than once and my arms weren't even as red an irritated as they usually are after I wax. This is my new favourite wax. Will update once I try it on my bikini area.
Yet another drugstore colour preserving shampoo that contains sodium chloride (a chemical that makes colour fade quickly). I didn't expect this from Tresemme though because it claims to be of professional quality and professional shampoos do not contain sodium cholride. Oh well, another reason for me to stay away from drugstore shampoos.
This mousse made my fine, normal to dry hair very oily and flat. My brother who has thick curly normal to dry hair used it as well and got the same results: oily and flat.
I really want to like this conditioner, it smells nice and has a great colour and texture. However, it makes my hair dry and frizzy, not shiny at all. I think I will stick to A/G products for now.
I'm a bit confused about Venus disposable razors. I really liked them when I started using them a couple years ago but the ones that I have used over the last six months have not given me a smooth shave and my legs feel scratched after using them. I know my shaving cream isn't the issue because I always use the same kind. For now I will not be repurchasing Venus and will try to find something better.
Lotions/ Creams -Calgon - Vanilla Swirl Body Lotion

It kind of burned my legs when I used it after shaving. It wasn't all that moisturizing either.
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Life Brand Rich Skin cream

The Cocoa butter cream is great. It is very moisturizing yet absorbs easily and is non-greasy. It smells nice too, unlike the Aloe Vera rich skin cream which smells very strong, almost chemical, and is not very moisturizing.
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - sensitive skin sunblock spf 30

The only sunscreen that doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin. I can even put it around my eye area with no problems.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Passion Fruit Pop

Gorgeous pink colour, great smell, doesn't taste bad either. I really like how the pink compliments my extremely pale skin without making my lips look too light or washed out. My only issue with this gloss is that I have to reapply alot but I have solved this problem for the most part by swiping a bit of softlips chapstick on before applying. Regardless, the gloss is cheap so I don't mind using alot.
I got a free sample of this in the mail. A few days later I got some waxing done which removed a layer of my skin. My skin kept peeling and was very rough. I used bio oil twice a day and my skin was repaired in a few days, good as new.
Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Toleriane Soothing Protective Facial Cream
poeticdancer 7/30/2008 10:53:00 AM
I have been using this moisturizer for a couple years now and I really like it. The only problem is that it leaves my skin a bit shiny. Right now I'm trying the Hydreane Light moisturizer and I am finding that it gives similar results to the Toleriane without the shine. However, I still like this moisturizer and will repurchase if the Hyydreane is out-of-stock.
Moisturizers -La Roche Posay - Hydreane Legere moisturizing cream
poeticdancer 7/30/2008 10:48:00 AM
I used this yesterday for the first time. It instantly hydrated my skin, leaving it soft and smooth without making it shiny or greasy. It even cleared up a little patch of eczema that was starting to flare up on my cheek.
