Concealers -Clinique - City Cover Compact concealer

i'm on my third compact :) although i admit this isnt the best of concealors, it is actually pretty decent. you just gotta pat it into the skin and blend it properly, cos if you can manage to do it the right way, and you get the correct shade, the fact that you have concealor on isnt really very obvious. i hate the brush though, you have to clean it all the time and wash it and when you do, you gotta be careful or all the bristles will just drop out and leave you brushless! concealor's really creamy and all, but if you have peeling areas of skin, esp the undereye, best not to use it there cos it just makes it more visible.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

well i was like using this for nearly a year as my primary moisturiser without realising that this WAS NOT a moisturiser. so i ended up getting really dehyrdated skin. but when used combined with a proper moisturiser, it really makes your skin look hydrated and plumper. less tight, and dull. i will keep it to use occasionally, as and when i feel that my skin needs an extra boost of water, but not on a daily basis :)
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

honestly, i hate this product. i got it because the SA told me that the oil free version was better for humid weather (where i live) texture was like watery, totally gross. plus the yellow colour was just a plain turn off. makes my skin feel sticky after applying... and what's worse... i had a major skin allergy reaction after a few days using this. i will never ever try this again.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Repairwear Intensive Night Cream

this is just an awesome product. i didnt like the day lotion or the serum as much. but the texture of this is just great, feels like it just melts into your skin. its really hydrating as well, especially when your skin gets slightly dehydrated. if you get small faint lines, this helps to remove them as well. its really effective :D
Lotions/ Creams -Clinique - deep comfort body moisture

i LOVE this :) it doesnt feel sticky on my skin and absorbs pretty fast and it really does moisturise the skin :)i get really dry skin after long periods in air conditioning and if not moisturised enough, will land me with mild eczema. but i tried this on two of my last 'air-con intensive weekends' which usually lead to a mild bout of eczema, and guess what, nothing happened! i was eczema free :D:D
Masks -Clarins - Thirst Quenching Hydra - Balance Mask

i dont like this mask. first, it doesnt feel like a mask, and i dont understand the removing it using toner or tissuing it off thing. i ended up washing it off my face with a cleanser. but although it does leave skin nice and smooth after using, i think it caused some sort of allergic reaction for me. i'll try it again one more time soon just to confirm it. but overall, i think its too pricey for what it does.
Cleansers -Clarins - Gentle Foaming Cleanser for Dry or Sensitive Skin
piggiejan 3/24/2004 7:07:00 AM
this product doesnt like dry out my skin and leave me with literally squeeky clean skin, the kind that looks stripped of all oils/moisture. it leaves skin soft but clean. and even thought here's like not much foaming, who cares right :)
Loose Powders -Prescriptives - Custom Blend loose Powder
piggiejan 3/23/2004 12:08:00 PM
price was kinda steep at almost SGD 80 but they gave me the full size box plus a travel size box, and i topped up 33 for a moonbeam lipgloss, blusher, and 2 eyeshadows, cool eh :) but anyway, i think it was just amazing the way the SA mixed up the powder. the texture's nice, doesnt smell weird, packaging is decent and secure (cover doesnt fall off easily) and it really goes onto skin well and smooth. i dont use foundation but this helps to even out my skin tone and the areas which have concealor on, so much so that you cant spot the bits with concealor :)
