Blush -Laura Mercier - Creme Cheek Colour in Praline
glitteradi 9/7/2009 2:41:00 PM
A best cream blush I have used even though it does not rival MAC blushcremes long lasting power on the skin. But I rather use this because it is a dream to apply. It does not drag on the skin it is so easy to work with and you can get your blush on and GO! I have used many cream blushes including Becca, Stila, MAC, Nars Multiple, Clinique touch blush, Shiseido color sticks, wet n wild sticks, NYX...I have to say this really rocks. I do not like the compact much but it is not hard to use because of that atleast. UPDATE: Still love this best for the refreshing feeling and soothing non drying quality, but not sure if this color really does anything for me. Colors in beige brown family usually dont do anything good or bad on my pale skin and it is almost as good as if I did not wear anything. I should have tried the pink shade instead.

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Cherche
glitteradi 9/7/2009 1:57:00 PM
I love the name of this blush "Cherche", let me just say that! Cherche is a neutral brown and I do not see arong terracotta tones on my NW 20 skin. It works great for contouring and it is also VERY pigmented. Costs 18,50 so in my opinion it is reasonably priced at least for all the lucky bastards living in USA. More expensive for the rest of us SIGH, but still very reasonable. This will last long time becuase it is so super pigmented and it also lasts longer than any other blush on the shin because it is also very sticky. Stickyness is also my only gripe with this because it makes application much less enjoyable than with my Laura Mercier cheek creme which also is more expensive, sheerer and offers lesser amount and wont even last that long on the skin or in the pan. But still, if you hate buying new makeup I recommend MAC blushcreme and you wont have to buy new blush in a very very long time.

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Cheery
glitteradi 9/7/2009 1:48:00 PM
Costs 18,50, this is probably discotinued now. This is a very pigmented blush that is a peachy red color. But I am fair nw 20 and I need just a little dab on my cheek and then blend it around. This really lifts up my glow and colouring unlike Ladyblush which was lighter than this. These blushcremes are the most longest lasting blushes for me but my only problem with these is that they are also sticky! I mean I also have Laura Mercier creme blush and while that one wont last as long as MAC on me or in the pan as it is sheerer, it is just such a pleasure to apply compared to MAC blushcreme.

Blush -MAC - blushcreme ladyblush
glitteradi 9/2/2009 3:43:00 AM
This is a peachy color, but not orangey. It is not shimmery. I like it because it last long time but in most days I feel it really does not do the trick for me which blushcreme in Cheery really does. MAC blushcreme really is sticky! but it also lasts way longer on than any of the finer textured blushes. I dont find it pleasure to apply tho, but this is really really pigmented and I think one blushcreme would last me 10 years!

Bronzers -Guerlain - Terracotta Bronzing powder
glitteradi 8/27/2009 5:59:00 PM
I love this bronzer to everything else because it really is moisturizing and it lasts all day. It is not frosty or shimmery like other bronzers. I am now talking about the single toned bronzer not the brunette or blonde ones. I have sure used some "matte " bronzers but they never applied smoothly and they always feel so dry on my skin. And shimmery bronzers do have tendency to wear off and start looking blotchy. I love the looks of shimer though also in right day but unfortunately they dont wear long time. My bronzer history is long: Estee Lauder, Chanel, Clinique, Cargo, Dior, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden, MAC, Face Stockholm, YSL, Physicians Formula, Lumene, Revlon... I do love the fragrance in this tho I do understand some of you might not appreciate it. This is actualy the ONLY bronzer I used all of! I purchased this myself and used it all up by myself. Only other blush/bronzer product I ever finished is Shu uemura blush.

Bronzers -Cargo - Cargo Bronzer in Medium
glitteradi 8/26/2009 6:44:00 PM
It is so fragile. I had to order mine and then I dropped it and I have never come along ordering new one. Compleately broken it was. The case is not very "cargo" nothing Cargo is cargo as it is impossible to travel with. Love the color and the texture. it is a dream to apply and blends so well. Yep it is a little bit frosty but it does not really bother me that much. Color is nice. I have never had a problem with orangey tones because on my skin they look more natural than overly golden bronzers. This is however none of them. It is quite neutral to my eye. I will purchase again.

Bronzers -Estee Lauder - Bronze Goddess
glitteradi 8/26/2009 6:29:00 PM
I have now had this twice. I swapped for this after long time lemming and I found this powder really dry and hard to apply, it just did not blend as well as my Guerlain one did. Application really was not a pleasure. Then I quickly swapped it away. Then a couple of months ago, I suddenly got the urge to buy this again after hearing raves for this and after Estee Lauder had discontinued this for a while and then bring it back. I decided I needed to try this again, maybe my judgement had been faulty. And I purchased a GWP size from ebay as our counter do not give them as often in Finland. And I tried it and I still think it is a load of crap, super dry and unpleasant on my dry skin type. It just feels so bad on me I have very seldom experienced such. It is also very dull looking on me. I do not know why this works on everyone else and not on me. I really tried to like this. But I just cant, Ick.

Polishes -OPI - Need Sunglasses?
glitteradi 8/15/2009 11:38:00 AM
This is actually the first OPI polish that actually lasts more than one day on me. It is also the most shiniest color I have had out of all OPI colors I have used. First I did not like the color on me, it felt like it did not suit my skintone, but as the day went on I liked it more and more. I actually feel first time that this color is me and that I am not trying to be someone I am not. It is not too old lady or femme fatale or sexy or anything like that, it is just a color for a carefree person. Try it even if youre cool toned, you might just be drawn in to this yellow happines.

Brows -MAC - Brow Finisher
glitteradi 8/15/2009 11:30:00 AM
This is much better for me than brow set. I like this because it makes my brow powder last longer. I have the clear one and I prime my brows with this and shape them correctly before applying the Coquette eye shadow as a brow powder. I am surprised that more reviewers dont use this as a primer for the brow powder becuase if I apply brow powder on clean brows it wont last or stick that well. I love this an it will always be in my arsenal. I am sorry that I did not buy more than one tube when I was in Berlin because I am near a MAC counter about once a year only!

Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Raisin Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow
glitteradi 7/25/2009 6:34:00 PM
These shadows are long lasting, well pigmented and easy to work with. Not talky at all. I havent found a color that I liked but I have only tried 2. Raisin is a plum color and it turns brown on me. So sad because it makes me look old and tired.

Eye Shadow -Bobbi Brown - Shimmer Wash Eyeshadow - Rose Gold #8
glitteradi 7/25/2009 6:32:00 PM
Warm rosy beige with gold shimmer. It is not dark but it has all the reasons to look bad on me. I cant pull off brown eye look. Or gold. I love the quality of these. In my opinion they are well pigmented and easy to work with.

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Touch Tint for Eyes - Nude Sparkle [DISCONTINUED]
glitteradi 7/25/2009 6:29:00 PM
Nice tube packaging which is sanitary but the color is too frosty for me. It does last very nice on but I prefer the clean matte look of Laura Mercier eye basics. It is a warm beige with silver frosty look. Just makes me look not so clean and defined as Id like to look.

Eye Shadow -Cargo - Eye Shadow Palette Ibiza
glitteradi 7/20/2009 4:22:00 PM
First of all I love this kind of minimalistic clear packaging. I prefer this to Chanel and Dior fanciness any day! There are 5 colors in this palette. a light sand color that is matte, a golden brown with gold shimmer, and there is also another shade that is very similar to the previous shade but it is matte, then there is this yellow brown camel shade, and in the midlle an orange brown shade thats super shimmery. I feel that many of these colors look similar once applied that is why I am a little bit disappointed. I find texture quite ok but not super pigmented. I like the palettes better than Cargo singles texture vice because i find the singles were too powdery and very flaky, especially the shimmery shades. In the end, I would not buy again and I would not collect other colors of these cargo palettes.

Eye Shadow -Lise Watier - Eyeshadow - Vert Eden
glitteradi 7/7/2009 4:05:00 PM
I got this from a swap. It is a very beautiful shadow with flower print. The color is in my opinion like pistache green color. It seems like it has some golden shimmer. It is quite frustrating that I cannot get it show up really. It definately does not come looking like green on the lids, not even with a base. It has one great function tho and thats why I rate it 2. It works great as a neutralizer if your eyelids tend to look flushed. It might even enhance my eye color a little bit even tho it is really sheer and almost invisible.

Fragrances -Estee Lauder - Pleasures
glitteradi 6/10/2009 2:47:00 PM
I rarely use up mini bottles, not to mention mini bottles. Something in this fragrance havent made me to be bored of it yet. It is not too sweet at all. It is sharp and green. It is possibly reminding me of something but I cannot remember what. This review is possibly not helpfull for anyone. But I think reviews for fragrances are extremely hard to make, I just really love this scent. It takes me to a happy place. I love it just as much as I love my Lacoste for woman which I believe is also a very green and fresh scent.
