Lip Treatments -Clinique - Superbalm Tinted Lip Treatment in Mango

I love the balm/gloss. Just a tiny hint of color, it gets to work immediately - softens my lips really well. It's great for winter, when my lips tend to get dry frequently. would buy again, probably in another color to test other possibilities

Lip Gloss -Bath and Body Works - Tutti Dolci-Creme Brulee Lip Gloss [DISCONTINUED]

It's a very cute idea - great foody smell with pink color and lots of shimmery shine. But it's almost like a L'oreal Colorjuice, so forking up $10 is not exactly what I have in mind. There are better quality glosses out there with more color and lasting ability, just for a few dollars more. I got this one free with my purchase, so it's a good deal.

Lotions/ Creams -DuWop - Buttercream Lotion
rated 1 of 5

First of all, there's hardly any scent. I'd think a product called buttercream would either have a buttery or creamy smell to it. Nada. I do sense a faint milk-like scent, but that's about it. It's not like cream in texture either. Very watery. Absorbs into my skin really fast (would usually rate this as a plus) but it just absorbs - no moisturizing effect at all! Even B&BW creams are better than this, for a fraction of the price, and larger too! I'm definitely sticking to the Jaqua Girls' Buttercream.

Lip Gloss -Sugar Cosmetics - Sugar Slicks lip gloss - Glimpse

I love the color and the smell. But unfortunately, the color is not as pigmented as I'd have liked. It's nude, but goes on almost clear on my lips unless I layer it on a lot. But it's cute.

Bronzers -Urban Decay - Baked Bronzer
rated 4 of 5
deliah008 12/1/2004 10:54:00 PM

The packaging, I must say, is rather odd and cheap. For $20, I would expect a better type of plastic for the compact (and no mirror?) and not some flimsy cupcake tin with a piece of styrofoam in it (totally unnecessary-just a cardboard box would have done the job). That said, the bronzer is pretty neat. It actually shows up on me. I'm pretty fair, but a lot of blushes/bronzers don't show up on my cheeks. This actually did. It's not too orange, but I see the shimmer being a problem in the summer-a bit oil-inducing when applied. Great for winter though.

Highlighters -Eyeko - Eyeko's Cream
rated 5 of 5

I love the cream for its smell, the gleam, and the overall texture. It hasn't caused any breakouts on my face yet. The packaging, although cute, is kind of cheap (my lid does not screw all the way down). Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the product. The price is now $18.50 on Sephora, instead of the previous $15. But I would buy again when I run out (hopefully it won't be out of stock then, as it is most of the time on Sephora).

Moisturizers -Christian Dior - Hydra Move Creme
rated 4 of 5
deliah008 11/29/2004 1:48:00 AM

I got a sample of this. It's a rather heavy cream, but unlike I others, I've been using it on my oily skin with no breakouts. The trick, I guess, is to apply lightly. For some reason, the fragrance reminds me of the Nivea cream my grandmother once used. It's pricey for a cream, especially one that doesn't do much except moisturize.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass- revealing

Love love this tan-brown color! Perfect for nude lips in the summer (in the winter it's great too but it pairs better with tanned skin). I wish MAC would make more colors like this, sans the shimmer.

Lipstick -Stila - all lipsticks
rated 3 of 5
deliah008 11/28/2004 7:54:00 PM

I got this in a can set, in Jane. The color is described as a shimmery nude, but I would say it's more of a rose color, not much nude/brown tones in it. On my lips it looks okay, but it's nothing special, nothing a drugstore lipstick wouldn't do. And I hate the cardboard packaging; it's tacky and seems to be easily destructible.

Lipstick -MAC - Underplay [DISCONTINUED]
rated 4 of 5

Love love this nude color! I placed it next to my BB lippie in Beige and they are almost identical, even on my lips. And this costs 6 dollars less. Although, I did notice after using it for a few days that this causes a lot of lines to appear on my lips, moreso than all the other lipsticks I own. It's not drying, but for some reason it magnifies the lines on my lips. That's why it's not getting 5 lippies.

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam
rated 4 of 5

I love Benefit products, but I was hesitant to buy this b/c I was afraid it was going to end up like my Benetint, unused and sitting listlessly in the back of my makeup drawer. On the contrary, I use this almost everyday to give parts of my face that dewy look. Very versatile! I pair it with Eyeko Cream for an even more pink-toned look. One of the ppl who recommended this to me said it would liven up tired faces, and she was not wrong. I'm so glad I bought this. Much more worthwhile than Hollywood Glo.

Eye Shadow -Urban Decay - Half Baked Eyeshadow
rated 4 of 5

Lovely bronzey color. so velvety! I'm contemplating whether to depot this or not. It goes on smoother than the other golden eyeshadows I own, the more reason to love UD e/s. There aren't any chunky glitter, but quite a lot of shimmer. Makes for a very good holiday/festive look.

Lip Gloss -Cargo - Lipgloss- Xai Xai
rated 4 of 5
deliah008 11/28/2004 7:43:00 PM

Overall, I liked this product, but it's on the thin side. I have to layer on and reapply to get the desired effect and color, which can be a hassle. It'd have been helpful if they supplied a small lipbrush with the tin (like stuck it in the lid or something). The packaging makes it awkward to carry around, and I'm perpetually afraid that one of the lipgloss parts would pop out of the tin. And there isn't too much product, despite the depth of the tin.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Blizzard Glossimer
rated 5 of 5

another great Chanel product. This looks like a purple-rose shimmery color on me; I expected it to be more brown and pink, but nonetheless, it's still wearable. I'd prefer less glitter, but it is by no means ultra-gritty.
