I tried a sample of this stuff a while back and liked the affect it had on my foundation. I purchased Smashbox Photofinish when my sample of this stuff ran out just to see if there was a difference. While I prefer the smell of Cover FX Skin Prep more than Smashbox Photofinish, I like the way Photofinish applies a bit more. It's less "thick" in consistency and seems to do a better job smoothing the skin.

Not sure if this product justifies its price but since it does seem to make a positive difference in the look and application of my foundation, I'll likely be purchasing it again. Foundation goes on smooth and consistent and seems to maintain its coverage all day. *EDIT* Monistat chafing relief powder gel is just as good IF NOT BETTER than Smashbox Photo Finish..in fact, I like it a lot more considering how much cheaper it is! Never again will I spend $40 on a foundation primer. If you haven't tried Monistat, RUN - don't walk - to your nearest drugstore and pick some up!

Love the color, but I feel like it could be more affordable. Slightly overrated in terms of price, but hell I'll buy it again.

I use this as a base color under MAC's amber lights, bronze, and mulch eyeshadows. Could not be more pleased.

I've been using this product for over a year now and my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner. I apply it to my face every night and in the morning my skin is glowing. Due to its thick consistency, I would not recommend applying it before makeup. Not only is this stuff a great moisturizer, it's actually healed a lot of my old acne scars and prevented breakouts - something I never would've expected from an oil. HIGHLY recommend.

I've been using this product for about a year now and to this day it is quite possibly the best find. Not only is it an excellent moisturizer, it also manages to prevent acne and heal old scars. I love the smell of this cream as well. My only regret is that I didn't find this product sooner.
